Convenience for my Base of Stay. Bedding was very comfortable for a respectable sleep. The room was spacious for what I am used to at home which is pleasing in an older style Motel which is really fine by me. Very convenient to Supermarkets which is just across the road in a Suburban Shopping Centre. My room was quite quiet from the busy Road in the area.

Nothing much really given I have grown up being used to the simple decor of the era of the Motel. The Tiles on Bathroom floor was dated to the years the Motel was established. It was the reasonable Tariff value that attracted me to the place.

Loved the location, comfy beds, room cleaned daily, can order room service from the tavern and nice staff. Spacious room with fridge, seat, table, TV, closet space etc. Tonnes of parking as well. You also get a whole block of chocolate on arrival.

Room didn’t feel too secure, windows easy to open and all the way up, had a small creak in the back door also, bugs and mosquitoes easily came in our room. Walls are thin and a lot of older guests stay there so we couldn’t speak loudly later at night as they were grumpy. Our room couldn’t reach wifi either.

We were positively surprised. The size of the room and the beds were great. The water pressure in the shower was really good. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. It was also surprisingly quiet for the location. All in all a great budget accommodation.

The bathroom could definitely use a renovation. Not so much because of its dated look - it's to expect in a budget accommodation - but for its functionality. The tap... forget about it, can't use it, not even to brush your teeth. Luckily the shower was good. The neighbourhood is really nothing special. Practical from a shop point of view but not to enjoy as such or go for a walk.

Room was very clean, with a welcoming and pleasant fragrance (often not the case with other hotels). Bed was comfortable. All amenities provided. Very close to shops. Great place for a short visit.

If I had to nitpick, I would say the internet was slow, otherwise I can't really fault it. The building is old, and some of the fixtures could do with updating, but they get the job done. (And the shower, though small, is hot with good water pressure.)

The team at reception was friendly and helpful. I went to my room to find it clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the tv worked. The pressure of the shower was really good and there was plenty of room in the bathroom. The motel is close to the shops and not far from Brisbane. The parking is outside the room.

The staff were outstanding, Michael, the manager, took care of our booking in process, was very helpful, friendly and informative. Tori, dining room staff, greeted us with smiles and was very attentive to our needs. She offered and arranged room delivery of our evening meal. Other staff members also greeted us with smiles and offers of help. Collectively the best staff we have incounted ever. The room was great for our needs, spotless, comfortable bed, toiletries supplied and away from the main road.

Nothing to complain about.

Arriving a bit later I expected to have to go out to get a meal however meals were still available and I was able to have it delivered to my room. I asked for extra blankets and couldn't find things because I was so tired but the staff were all so patient and helpful and I was really thankful. The bed was awesome and I had a fantastic sleep. So pleased to have a table to use and I would definately stay there again. Bonus having a microwave. I was also able to get close parking and the internet was great (not dropping in and out like some places)

Needed a new shower head. Shower curtain was a menace. TV channels were a bit sad but that could also be a Brisbane problem :)

Bathroom didn't have adequate shelving.....shower was very small.......water was very weak in hand basin.......but there was plenty of nice hot water in the shower...... No PowerPoint's near the beds for CPap machine

The Hotel was good in general, but I think it needs some renovations, I was a little worried when I saw the outside, it looks rough, and it wasn’t the cheapest place per night. It was vey comfortable and clean

Stayed here many times but this time was different, the old awkward wash basin had been replaced as was the toilet for some very nice equipment. The carpet also was new and the room was a pleasure to stay in. I initially had some wifi problems but by the second day it was resolved. Would highly recommend this motel especially after the refurbishments. Also the staff is lovely.

Only the wifi was a bit awkward but eventually worked ok.
