Room was very comfortable. There was a lot of space. The bed was cozy. The television was great. The shower worked. The breakfast was very good the next morning. The parking was excellent. I was also happy that the staff let me check in early. All of the little things were very good (like extra towels, a thermostat that worked, the television offered Prime, Netflix, Paramount and Peacock but not HULU, and it was very quiet).
There is a light bulb missing from the hanging light in the kitchen. It took a very long time for the water to run hot in the shower. The closet door didn't really shut (a hinge may be broken). There were no instructions on how to make a pot of coffee in the room (there were bags of coffee grounds but a coffee maker that had no filter or instructions on how it works). This could be confusing for guests.

Everything is excellent location such as bars, restaurants and especially The Pirates and Steelers Stadium around.
That they allow pets! On May 1st we had an incident on our last night somebody had a dog staying that night it barked all night like 3 hour wouldn’t stop. That was our last night we had to wake up very early to get to our destination and rest. That dog kept us up at night time. We didn’t get that much rest. That wasn’t cool. Need to address to customer about that with pets!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was good. The location was outstanding. The parking was convenient and not pricey. 24/7 coffee - you can’t really beat that.
My stay overall was really good. In my room, the furnace closet needs to be cleaned - 304. There is so much dust showing from the duct and the door that requires some attention from the maintenance team. The breakfast was OK. I was expecting good. Other than that, my experience was really good. Thank you.

We go to games at PNC Park and Residence Inn is right across the street from the stadium.
Well everything was perfect the staff goes out of their way to help. In fact we usually finish our trip going to a day game and they usually let me leave my car there so I don’t have to look for parking. BUT this year the PGA tour was going on and they were not going to have parking spots available. So I had to move my vehicle before going to the game. But kudos to them for always trying.

Great hotel and location if you're in town for a Pirates or Steelers game. Also, great location if you're in town for any concert events or Penguins game at PPG due to the free train with a stop nearby to take you to stops downtown. Nice parking area which was convenient. Staff is super friendly and helped explain the train info. Rooms are nice and very clean upon arrival. The area around the hotel is nice too with lots of restaurants and bars and a short walk to get some great views of the river and downtown.
Perfect stay. Couldn't complain about anything.

The location was great as we had tickets to the ball game. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious and nice. The parking was great also, Right next to the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful.
There was no coffee pot in the room. SO I called the front desk to see if they could bring one up. She said she would send one up. We went to dinner and came back and I inquired at the desk if they had delivered a coffee pot and she assured me they had and when we got in the room there wasn't one there. So I called back the desk and she had a housekeeper deliver one in the next few minutes.

The room was very large, nice kitchen, clean. We attended a Pirates game and it took us 5 minutes from our seat to our suite which was amazingly convenient.
The staff told us clean rooms weren’t available (3:30 pm) and they’d begin check in at 4 pm. We stood in line for an hour to check in. They only had two people working the desk. They were very nice however forcing hundreds of guests to wait until 4 pm to check in was ridiculous. The excuse “no clean rooms” 1/2 an hour prior to check in was false. This is not the first time they’ve had a home game this is not new to them and it was poorly handled.

Marriott properties are always amazing
they decided to have one poor lady working the front desk after the Steelers Ravens game, the biigest game of the year, everyone is trying to check in after the game and she was doing her best to juggle checking in people and dealing with issues with guests already in their room. The roundabout in front of the hotel is very small, you need to get a room key to access the parking lot so you have to park in that roundabout, check in and then finally park.

Location was perfect for PNC, Stage AE, and Ariscure stadium. Walking distance to a lot! We loved how cold the room was (came in August) ..AC works gooood! Absolutely loved our 1 bedroom suite with full kitchenette. Loved the outlets actually worked well and the bed setup with the lights and nice alarm clock/iPhone charger dock.
Beds could have been more comfy. I'm very picky about beds. The mattress was a bit firm. This would not prevent me from staying again though bc everything else about it was so great!

The breakfast was great! Lots of options. Staff was friendly and nice. The check in was disorganized. The one check in staff did not seem to be organized or knowledgeable. We got there at 3:58 to check in and room was not ready. Was told to go park and then had to come back in and wait in a line full of ppl in the lobby to be checked in. So basically had to do the check in process twice. The room exceeded my expectation.

Later we asked about transportation and shuttle. The one staff member did not seem to know, but another staff intervened to help.
