Everything. The location, the cozy location set just off the road in a quiter area. Fantastically clean room. Good air conditioning. Great bed. Large bathroom, amazing water pressure. The spa was top tier. Every amenities needed was provided. The cleaning staff were immaculate and very polite. The housekeeping crew doing towels and stuff were incredible too and super friendly. Check in was incredibly easy. We left super early in the morning so just popped the keys in the box supplied with no drama. Couldn't recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back

Absolutely nothing. We had 0 issues. Not even anything minor.

The squash court, gym was super awesome. The gym had everything and an awesome stereo. The beds were super comfy, not too firm, there was a large fridge to store meals, the pullout couch was comfy as, the spa pool was such a treat and there was lots of towels and robes. Booking was easy, beautiful quiet night sleep! Highly recommend. A+++++

In the bathroom, there was corrosion in the wall that looked suspect but otherwise, nothing.

The rooms were great. Lots of space, had a Spa in the room which was mint! The people at the office were lovely. Check-in went smoothly and they were very generous with milk supplied for Tea and Coffee (very good selection of drinks too!) Also had cookies and chippies which was a nice touch. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Good selection of TV and nice and warm with a very easy to use heat pump.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the bed were pretty hard to sleep on. 3 of us had the beds and 1 of us had the fold out couch, and the person who had the best sleep that night was the person on the fold out couch as their bed was the softest. If the beds were a little softer it would have completely perfect. That was the only negative.

Great location on a quieter side street. Full sized spa in our own room, definitely the BEST feature. Good sized room, well set up, very clean with modern fittings and even a walk in wardrobe. Helpful staff, very quick to assist when necessary and they even follow up to ensure your continued comfort, highly recommended. Heat pump didn't take long to warm the room, turned it off and the well insulated room held the heat nicely overnight. Supermarket and liquor shop within half a block, if that.

No bad comments but if being REALLY fussy: Room was quite chilly on arrival. Maybe turning heat pump on prior to arrival (seeing as they ask for the arrival time) could be a nice touch on cooler days. Bathroom floor got very slippery when wet.

This place is a gem, huge clean room and an amazingly spacious bathroom complete with a very inviting spa (in another room off the bathroom). I didn't use the spa but it looked very clean and inviting. The fittings and general condition were top notch, with high end tiles etc. There was even a separate dressing nook with plenty of hanging space. The day I was there it looked fully booked, and I can see why its popular.

No complaints from me, even at a push I couldn't couldn't find anything to mention

The executive suite with a spa was fantastic, and I’ll book it again. Plenty of room to spread out. Kettle, microwave, big sink and fridge were great to make it a little home away from home for a day. Spa was in its own separate room, plenty of space for at least 4 people in the spa so very comfortable if you’re on your own or a couple. Temperature held well which was great. Bed was comfortable and pillows not too soft. Staff were friendly and it was no nonsense which I liked.

I wish they had a vending machine - Palmerston North, everything closes so early. Having a vending machine would be so convenient for a Coke or Muesli Bar. Walls are a tiny bit thin and you can hear some “activities” coming from the other rooms beside you. Most other noise is blocked out.

We enjoyed the staff at the front office. Very courteous and polite Asian woman. We liked the room and amenities. The bed was comfy. Kitchenette was very well appointed. The hot tub was amazing. Loved it, great size and depth. The shower pressure was amazing! Sky tv with most channels. Awesome walking distance to town.

A little bit pricey. Arnt they all. Breakfast was ok but expensive and small. The soaps gave my partner irritation.

Super friendly and understanding staff. The rooms were impressively sized, with the bathrooms having great features like a spa-bath and hairdryer. Ample onsite parking. Wifi quality is good and strong enough for zoom meetings without buffering. There are teas, coffee and Hot chocolate in the rooms, with free Bentleys milk bottles. Highly recommend the trip.

Fan in the bathroom takes about 5 minutes to turn off (functions with the lights only, so be aware for late night breaks)

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit/apartment and it was spacious and well set up, clean & had all the ammenities you'd want. It's quite a treat to open a door and find an entire spa room private to your room. We didn't use them, but I know there are good gym facilities and an epic squash court too.

There were guests in another room having a party and blasting very very loud music late in the night. The motel eventually addressed it and they stopped. I'm sure they would have been difficult to manage. Only unfortunate part of our stay.

Centrality to the city.

The beds, and shower. Bed was so uncomfortable as were the Pillows, woke up with sore back and neck each day. The shower is crazy pressured, which for some they might enjoy, however, the pressure from this sent water essentially all through the bathroom, leaving water on the floor and walls. This is quite a safety hazard, as the floor is fully tiled. I also found the bath quite a high step over to get into the shower. Perhaps safety/support bars could be installed. Especially for shorter people or the elderly.
