The house is lovely and historical. The visual elegance of the common furnishings added to the ambience. Parking was easy and the room was comfortable, especially the king bed! E

It was odd not to encounter anyone during our stay. We pretended it was watched over by ghosts when we came downstairs for breakfast and it “magically” appeared on the table each morning 😄. In all seriousness, the lack of connection with a human at a bed and breakfast did not compute. It should likely be called an Historic Self-serve Guest House that includes breakfast. However, I was more annoyed by the lack of responses to the two messages I sent in advance and the missing room number on the checkin instructions. We had to try our code on all the doors to figure out which one was ours. I’m guessing there is no one monitoring the messages on the booking app.

We loved the house and the decor. It felt like we stepped back in time and we loved that! We enjoyed the robes, comfortable beds, and sitting on the patio/playing croquet. It’s a gorgeous house and the owner is very nice. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated that there was (glass) bottled water and glassware to use. Nice music playing in the living room. Wi-Fi was great.

It was very noisy from the very creaky stairs to the neighbors playing extremely loud rock music, to the loud motor cycles and cars on Indiana Street. We didn’t see the ear plugs until morning so consequently, got very poor, limited sleep. There is no coffee available until 7:30. Thus, a lower than 10 rating. Other than these two things, we loved our stay and would love to return!

Absolutely. Everything from the beautiful decor and the gracious , elegant home to the thick, fluffy towel, it was all wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a little warm, but I opened the windows, and the breeze made it comfortable. And then there is breakfast as I sat at the elegant dining table, listening to the wonderful french music, it was like I was in Europe. I was served up perfectly. Made soft-boiled egg. Croissant, jam, cheese, meats, homemade granola, yogurt and juice, all on lovely china. On top of it, Holland, my host was so friendly and kind.

I would have liked to have had access to hot water for tea. Not just at breakfast.

The home was very cute and I loved the coziness of the sitting and lounge areas. The mini bar area was awesome, though we didn't partake. Breakfast was great, though the eggs were more "soft" than I like. I loved that they support local businesses and the tea selections were wonderful. We stayed in the Rose room and the bed was soooo comfortable!

I am a light sleeper, and due to the age of the home/windows, the street noise in the late evening and early morning woke me. This can be helped with the use of earplugs, which are conveniently provided! It would also be great if darker shades/drapes were used to block more of the morning light.

European breakfast of scrumptious croissants, tarts, cold cuts of meat and cheese, yogurt, granola and fresh huckleberry preserves. The coffee was delicious too. Beautiful peaceful surroundings in the salon to eat and plan your day. Soft music set the mood and invited you to linger. The bedroom was beautiful and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. Loved the 6foot claw foot tub in the private bathroom!

The wall unit air conditioner was not able to keep our room cool. However, it was unusually hot the days we were in house and it probably works effectively under normal weather conditions. We cannot blame the owner for the weather extreme!

almost everything! the bed was extremely comfortable, the entire property was gorgeous and welcoming. I loved the big wrap-around porch with the ample seating. perfect for sitting and reading my book! I didn't use it, but the sitting room area was very inviting and well furnished.

it was a bit stuffy and warm in the room and there was no fan available, either a ceiling fan or otherwise. there was also no way to open the windows so that they could stay open and allow a breeze into the room. the overhead light in the room was extremely dim as well.

Our room was beautiful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with lovely crisp clean linens. The ‘honesty bar’ was much appreciated after we had gone out for a long walk along the river. Sitting outside on the wide veranda with a nice glass of wine made us feel like we were definitely on holiday, and the continental breakfast in the morning was perfect! My husband said the croissant was one of the best he’s ever had, but there were also eggs, fresh yoghurt with granola and fruit and good danishes that have obviously come direct from a bakery. I would love to stay here again if we are ever in the area!

There was nothing we did not like!

Breakfast was good and the sitting area was comfortable.

Checkin could use some work. There does not appear to be on-site staff. I received an email with the door code which worked, but there was no indication of what room I was in. The email said "Room Number: Please refer back to your listing and/or booking confirmation" - but there was no indication of that. I suspect that may be because I booked through Booking rather than directly with the facility. There was a phone number for help and it was answered promptly and they were able to direct me to the correct room.

The B&B is in a historic house in a location that is not too far from good restaurants and pubs. The room was beautiful and quaint, just as I expected. There was a large closet, I could have comfortably stayed here for a full week. And the bed was SOOOO comfortable. I had a really good night's sleep the one night I stayed here. The service was excellent and all my questions were addressed right away. I selected the shared bathroom option, and I was impressed with how clean it was and well-appointed. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, and I plan on staying here again when I'm in town.

I booked the room through a third party and for some reason the code they sent for the locks was wrong. But someone from the reception helped me right away and I didn't have any problems after that.

Everything was ideal. Holland was so gracious to allow an early check-in so I could clean up from my drive and meet friends for a cruise in Coeur d'Alene. From parking to secure entry (both front door and room) to lovely toiletries and towels, not to mention a very comfortable room and bed, no detail was omitted. Breakfast was ready at 7:30 and it was a beautiful and delicious selection. It reminded me of my vacation in Reykjavik. I never saw another person during my stay, but that's just fine. I look forward to staying here again.

Finding something to not like during my stay is impossible.
