A lovely hotel in an excellent location overlooking the bay. Also very close to the historic centre. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast choices were very sustaining. I also had an excellent dinner one evening whilst enjoying the coastal views.

Only a couple of small points: 1) The only power socket I could find to use in my bedroom involved grovelling under the table to unplug the TV in order to charge my phone. 2) There didn't appear to be the option of some fresh fruit or yogurt as lighter options for breakfast.

The Hotel Adriana is in a perfect spot on the Riva about 2 minutes walk from Diocletians Palace, and a 5 minute walk from the bus and train station. The staff were helpful and professional. The bathroom was a good size and the bed was comfortable. A good choice of breakfast was included and the shakshuka was extra good! Having had to change rooms during our stay, I would definitely recommend the superior rooms with a lovely waterfront view over the standard rooms at the back of the hotel!

It's location, bang on Promenad and touching the old palace. They also kindly allowed early check in and while leaving early in the morning at 3.30 AM, they were kind enough to provide a cold sandwich and a warm coffee. That was really very kind of them.

There was no water bottle provided. I mean how much does that cost? Atleast 1 litre should be kept every day. I know somebody would say, tap water is drinking water. But how would a tourist know if not written anywhere in the room? Also there was no water kettle or tea / coffee packets. If they provide these two things in all the rooms, stay becomes comfortable. They should consider it seriously.

The location of the hotel is fabulous on the pedestrian seaside Obala with nice view to the port and yachts, green area of Marjan hill. Behind the hotel also pedestrian streets lead to UNESCO heritage old town with uncountable monuments, shops, restaurants, etc. The staff of the hotel was friendly and careful, the breakfast was excellent and nice bars worked inside and outside.

No complaints, I would not change anything there.

Its on the main "Rave" - the port-walk/ seafront Staff are really friendly, no problem there. Its an "old" hotel, the lift shows its age but no issues. There is a 24h guard, so you can come/go whenever you like. We left at 5am and getting a coffee/tea was no problem.

English breakfast was actually very fine smoky bacon slices, spicy hotdogs (not sausages), toast and cold red beans. Tea was ok - ask for Black Tea, the "Indian" package. My partner is French so "American" coffée isnt strong enough. Ask for a double expresso and its OK. The Fridge in our room was really noisy - we turned it off every night. No kettle , ie no way to make a quick coffee/tea in the room.

The hotel is right on the promenade and, you can easily walk to everything. The room was clean and the bed confortable. They gave us a free bottle of wine, a very nice touch. The ferry is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel making it easy to come in from other places. Breakfast was at the restaurant on the first floor and you ordered it from a menu, not buffet style.

I've stayed at the Adriana several times over the years, and each and every time I am so happy with this hotel. The staff are so helpful and friendly, not always the case in Croatia, the prices are very reasonable, the breakfast which was included in my room rate was very generous and came with an entire menu of choices. The location cannot be beat on Split's beautiful riva right by the Adriatic, with a spectacular view of palm trees and blue skies and sea, plus the people promenading by. That area can get quite noisy, but the soundproofing on the windows was so great I did not hear a thing, as were the blackout blinds which blocked out all light. I am very sensitive to noise and light when I sleep, but that is not an issue at this hotel. The shower has great water pressure too, always important for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and am so excited to stay there again.

I wouldn't change a thing. Their elevator is very small, so just be warned if you have multiple people with lots of baggage, you will not make it in one trip. But that's not even a complaint, because in older European buildings the elevators are always like this, but just so everyone is warned to expect a very small elevator.

The property is fine and perfect location, but the rooms are too small no where to open your suitcase apart placing it on the bed. In the room there are very few power points, only power points are for the side lights. I had to unplug the side lights to plug in my cord to recharge my phone. Same problem in the bathroom no power points to recharge my toothbrush.

It is very convenient and close to everything

This Hotel is on the Riva (promenade) at Split and perfectly situated for touring the historic parts of the town. The Hotel has a large promenade restaurant and bar area, with a sumptuous restaurant area inside. Our suite was exquisite, with comfortable lounge area, bedroom and showroom. The staff were superb - breakfast was served with quiet dignity, the restaurant was luxurious with a varied menu and the bar had many good beers and cocktails.

We could have stayed longer! We will go again. From here you can catch ferries to all the spectacular and historical places of Croatia. It is a perfect place to base your Croatian holiday.

Great location

The attitude of one of the waiters in the restaurant was very rude on our first night. When asking if we could pay our bill he said do I look like a waitress ? We said. Well your a waiter and he very sarcastically said yes in a different area and walked off. Put us off using the restaurant for the rest of our stay
