I absolutely loved this place. Location was very handy to Central Station and two Woolworths Metros, apartment was nicely furnished (modern with interesting photographs on the walls), having a corner balcony to sit on in the sun was bliss. All staff were very helpful. Would happily stay here again.

A small thing, but in the kitchen, it would have helped to have a dishcloth to wipe the bench instead of a single paper towel. Even if you're only there for two nights, one paper towel is quickly inadequate. Bathroom was a bit dated and not as nice as the rest of the apartment, but still functional. Hand soap was too perfumed for me. Road works were happening below on the first night, but that's unavoidable at times.

It was very spacious with all amenities. Close to city in walking distance.

I wrote prior requesting early check in as we were attending a birthday. This was approved also with bed arrangements Only to be told that they don't check anyone in early and we need to stay the night prior. The front desk attendant was extremely rude. Assuming she was having a bad day. Another guest came in and they checked her in straight away this was at 12.30pm We were offer a room to get changed which were the pool toilets. It was extremely hot and very small. At 1.15 after getting changed and handing the pool key over got told our room was ready. Took our luggage up and by this time we're running late. This was our first time staying at Oaks as we normally stay elsewhere. Not sure if all Oaks are the same but we will not be staying at this one again

Everything was excellent from start to finish! The room we stayed in had one of the best views and was extremely comfortable—we couldn't have asked for more. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive to all our requests, and they even allowed us to check in early as soon as the room became available, which we really appreciated. We had a fantastic stay and felt very well taken care of throughout. Everything was just perfect—we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The room was a tad dirty... glass on the wardrobes had smears over them... there was no hand towel.. The hand cleaner and on taps in the bathrooms had dirt around the top. Of the refill containers.....the ice tray in the freezer was filthy .I manage hotel cleaning on the sunshine coast... sorry about the review... Beds were made 🥰... No Balnkets in the bedrooms... only gross.. what looked liked mattress protectors in the wardrobes.. not even foldered nicely... you could step up a tab..... But the view was amazing.. and the staff was accommodating..... Oh.. no ice in the hotel... Likethat's pretty terrible..

It was in a very convenient spot and just a two minute walk to where I had to attend a medical appointment. There were plenty of options for food and coffee close by. It was an enjoyable short walk to the river. We also enjoyed the old buildings, Cathedral Square and a couple of historic churches in the vacinity. The view of the city lights from the balcony were pretty.

As we live rurally we did notice how noisy the city was during the night. The air-conditioning system malfunctioned so it did get a bit hot in our room.

The location and value for money were excellent. The apartment was very large and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The sofa was really uncomfortable. The kitchen would benefit from a few more utensils. Also it would be more helpful to have a recycle bin on each floor or at least in the ground floor as having to go down to basement and through gate etc when trying to check out was a pain. However all of these were minor.

The location is convenient, the ambience is delightful, and the amenities are excellent. The staff's prompt responses to our requests were amazing and made our stay happy. I would highly recommend anyone for an enjoyable stay as mine was great.

Felt the second bedroom was a bit hot. Despite setting the thermostat to 22 degrees, it consistently showed 25 degrees, causing discomfort during the night and waking up sweating.

Big comfortable rooms. When we checked in on Friday afternoon we couldn’t get our Foxtel to work so we called reception and they sent the maintenance man Darren up to check it out. It was knock off time for him on a Friday afternoon and he could not do enough to help us. He tried everything to fix it and when it wouldn’t work he organised another room for us to move to which was even better than the first room. He then insisted on helping us move our luggage and got us into the new room with no fuss. I want to say a special thanks again to him as his service exceeded our expectations.

Always so clean and spacious. The bed was a little soft, however we like a firm mattress at home, no fault of oaks.

Not much you can do about it but during this stay, we were on the side of the church and I didn’t take into account the bells. My previous stay was in the other side of the building so it wasn’t an issue. I thought for the money, I would have been staying in a similar room to last time but this one was substantially smaller, so that’s the only downer.

Great location, very friendly staff. allowed us to park prior to check in and leave the cars there after checkout until we were ready to leave Brisbane.

I put in parking as a filter, which this property had but when I requested parking for two vehicles (after booking with no free cancellation) I received an email saying parking was $38 per vehicle per day. I thought this should have been stated prior to booking as it was then to late to cancel and look for somewhere else. Thats my only complaint though. Otherwise excellent.
