This place is simply perfect… location, staff, property, and decor they don’t miss a beat, we will not stay anywhere else when in Florence.

If I had to complain - 1. Prices for drinks and food were higher than most of the establishments around the area. 2. The diffusers/aroma were a bit overwhelming. If a person has a sensitivity to smells the Tivoli can be a bit of a sensory challenge at first. After three days we didn’t notice it. These are minor issues though this place is a 9+++ even with this.

Everything was perfect, from checking in until checking out. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms of good size, will maintained furniture and great location.

The hotel is in a fabulous location close to all the famous landmarks and the train station. The staff at the reception desk were outstanding .

The breakfast Buffett was great but if you ordered anything different it took a long time.

Location is amazing located in an historical Renaissance palace, just 6 minutes walking from Santa Maria Novella railway station, all of the city’s key landmarks can be reached easily on foot. The hotel is quiet, class, and the staff was very friendly (all of them). We had a suite which was spacious but i could say it's spacious to fit 2 people comfortably During check in, one of the staff will inform you about hotel history which was built in 1596, Originally made up of two historical buildings belonging to two aristocratic Florentine families - the Gaddis and the Arrighettis, The hotel is a living testimony to a noble past with unique historical and artistic treasures, such as artist’s paintings and art objects, many dating back to the 16th century.

They didn't replace the amenities in the bathroom in a daily basis (we had sanitary pack only once during our stay for 3 nights, despite using it such as shower cap and earbud) and we didn't ask them for replacement (we assumed it was replaced till we discovered). But it was not something that ruined our stay. The pillows was not comfortable at all (both of the pillows), I was getting up with shoulder pain (as I have cervical disc)

I recently stayed at a hotel in Florence and had a very good experience overall—I'd rate it between an 8 and 9 out of 10. The location is truly excellent, perfect for exploring the city's historic center and key landmarks on foot. It's also close to plenty of great restaurants and shops, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One highlight was the staff’s responsiveness. I had an issue with noise coming from the room above and requested to be moved. The team handled it promptly and professionally, immediately offering me another room without hesitation. That kind of service really makes a difference. The hotel also has a very nice bar—stylish and relaxed, ideal for a drink after a day out in the city. The only downside was the breakfast service. While the selection was decent, the staff during breakfast seemed a bit disorganized and not as attentive as the rest of the team. A little more training or attention to detail in that area would go a long way. All in all, a solid choice for a stay in Florence, especially if you're looking for a central location and good service.

The hotel is brilliantly located in the centre of the city and close to all the main sights. We had a beautiful room. The public areas were fantastic. Breakfast was out of this world. All the staff, the doorman, the people at reception, the staff in the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping were incredible. There were so many nice small touches. The owners/management are to be congratulated for establishing an outstanding culture of service delivered with kindness.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. All appliances (aircon, shower, light switches, safe box, etc) worked well (regrettably it is not always the case with some 5* hotels). Comfortable beds, excellent lobby and very clean. An extra bonus was the entry to the roof even when the bar wasn't open because of weather. A cup of morning coffee (made with a working machine in the room) with the amazing view of the city and Duomo was a cherry on the top. Very quiet, close to the airport and lots of good restaurants around. Magnificent!

The quality of the lobby, the breakfast. The service of the housekeeping staff was excellent. They do such a good job. They come for turn down service everyday. No hotel in Europe is so particular. The location. You just can’t go wrong. Perfectly located and walking distance to everything. Everyone says it and I agree just the positivity and enthusiasm you are greeted with at the time of checkin. Makes you feel so good. When you are entering the hotel each time.

I found the room size a little small for the price I was paying. But the room was beautiful and cozy

From the moment we arrived at Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi, we were welcomed with exceptional Italian hospitality. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and memorable as possible. I had been messaging with the hotel prior to our arrival regarding our booking, and their responses were always prompt and incredibly helpful. Despite it being a busy holiday season, they managed to make us feel like we were their top priority. A special highlight was how they made my daughter’s birthday, which falls on Christmas Day, so unforgettable. They thoughtfully left her beautiful gifts, which was a gesture that touched our hearts and made her feel so special. The hotel itself is a masterpiece, with extraordinary décor that blends historical charm with modern elegance. The breakfast buffet was a delightful experience, offering a variety of delicious options and beautifully decorated food stations—just another example of the attention to detail that defines this hotel. Although the rooftop was closed during our stay, we were graciously invited to visit the hotel’s terrace, where we had the privilege of taking in spectacular views of Brunelleschi’s Duomo. The location of the hotel is unbeatable—right in the heart of Florence, so all the major attractions were within easy walking distance. Additionally, the hotel partners with a fantastic vendor for parking services. They smoothly arranged for our car to be picked up directly from the front of the hotel, and the parking rates were very reasonable for such a prime location. All in all, our experience at Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi was nothing short of amazing. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and we will undoubtedly choose this hotel again the next time we visit Florence.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The location is conveniently located close to the center of Florence. The rooms are beautiful with a comfortable bed and pillows. The amenities are above par compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our visit to Italy. I booked a room with a view and I highly recommend that because the views of the Duomo are spectacular. The most significant thing I want to comment on is the staff. They were incredibly helpful and nice. They went above and beyond at all times. We arrived tired and the staff picked up on it and led us to our room so that we could rest rather than go over the extraordinary history of the hotel. After getting our energy back, we sat at the bar for antipasto and drinks and the staff were so friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in Florence.

There was a charge for breakfast so we skipped it. Many hotels of this caliber provide a free breakfast with the cost of the room.
