The staff were all very polite and courteous. The team at breakfast were all very hardworking and I salute their dedication to the job. They definitely made our stay more enjoyable.

We were expecting to be provided a room with a bath tub. We didn't have air conditioning in the room and the bath taps are a bit old school as well as being handed a physical key to our room.

Excellent location. Staff very efficient and helpful. Hotel very clean. Bedroom was a good size but furniture was very dated. Had a sea view room but was obscured by a high wall.

Continental breakfast was very limited...no cheese or meats....only cereals,fruit,yoghurt and croissants. Good cooked breakfast.

Very close to Bournemouth Pier One-point-of-contact customer support receptionist Ajax had been very helpful in bettering my experience here Fresh and healthful breakfast options Personally, I find that: Direct booking has better rates; The restaurant bar serves good cocktails; Dishes including sea bass fillet (available from 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm) and smoked chicken sandwiches (if in stock available 24/7) are worth trying via room service; Specialties at the restaurant including local oysters, fish soup, crab, and triple cooked chips are must-try as well.

This property is equipped with professional staff, who never fail to deliver agreeable solutions to extra requirements and provide strong customer support. As a result, objectively, there remains nothing I dislike about the property.

The staff in the hotel were very kind and helpful. They were able to accommodate my requests for example an extra sheet. They also sorted out an issue with the television in a short space of time. The room and bathroom facilities were kept clean and tidy. They also catered for my dietary needs. I had an excellent seaview room overlooking Bournemouth Pier. The beach was less than five minutes walk away from the hotel. Traffic noise could be heard from my room but double glazing solved the issue. But it was also lovely to hear the sound of the sea when the windows were opened. The service in The Crab Restaurant, part of the hotel, was great. Everyone was kind, considerate and helpful. I really enjoyed the food. There was also a pianist over the weekend which I really enjoyed listening to while dining. I had a great stay and I would use this hotel again. I would also recommend it to friends and family. Thank you all for a great stay!

There wasn't anything that I did not like. Possibly have tablecloths for evening dining.

The Crab restaurant was very good. The breakfasts were also very good with freshly cooked hot food and a reasonable buffet.

We booked a signature room with sea view. Our allocated room was in the attic on the 5th floor. The carpet was worn out and the bedroom had velux windows with a view of the sky only. The separate lounge area was narrow and poorly furnished. We were moved to a room on the 4th floor on night 2&3 ( no alternative room was available on the first night) this room was a revelation compared to the first one and as booked on the website. We booked many months ago and do not understand why we were given such a poor room in the first place. Disappointing to be treated as second class citizens.

Very good location, close to the town, beach and right opposite BIC.

The room we were assigned was very hot and we couldn’t have the window open as so many flies came in. We think this was to do with the greenery on the outside of the building. The shower was very basic, would be better if modernised. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable, myself and partner found it difficult to sleep as a result.

The room with sea view was clean and had plenty of equipment in the room for our needs. Reception staff were very pleasant and we were able to store luggage until our time to leave.

It was unfortunate that breakfast in the pleasant dining room did not come up to standard due to the cooked meal not being served in a reasonable time. So much so that we felt we had been forgotten. We understood it was a busy morning for the chef, but it would have been better if the waitress could have apologised for the 40 minutes delay. This meant subsequent mornings when we needed to use public transport we couldn't risk waiting. So just had the continental. Provision of an area map with bus stops in our room would have been helpful.

We pre booked the Park Central Hotel, and told them we wouldn't arrive until after 10pm. On arrival we were up graded to a superior room which was fantastic. We were served one of the best full English breakfasts that I have tasted the following morning. As we left the hotel around 11am, I asked if we could keep the car there for a while, and we were told that we could leave the car up to 5pm. The staff were very pleasant, especially on reception.

There was nothing at the Park Central to complain about, the only gripe was the price of a pint of Stella was £7 at the bar. Again, the staff at both the restaurant and behind the bar were very pleasant and made you feel welcomed.

The only negative is next door there is the hermitage hotel which is the same 4* hotel. But looked and they are a lot cheaper with options on rooms with different board options. So only in hindsight found this out which next time I will look at them first and save some money, and have parking be it that it may was very fortunate to park on site as was contacted to say their deal with bic parking had stopped. But was not made aware of parking next door which was cheaper than bic (48hr £44)
