Exceptional Stay at Park Hyatt Melbourne We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Park Hyatt Melbourne, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to a warm, friendly welcome and outstanding service that continued throughout our stay. Our room was notably spacious, providing us with ample space to unwind and relax after our daily adventures in Melbourne. The elegant design and comfortable furnishings further contributed to a serene and homely atmosphere that truly set the stage for a memorable stay. We were particularly impressed by the excellence of the room service, which consistently delivered super services. The staff demonstrated a commendable level of professionalism and kindness, always attending to our needs with a smile and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention must be made about the chief concierge, whose recommendations greatly enhanced our experience in Melbourne. His insightful advice allowed us to discover local gems and experiences we might have otherwise overlooked. Of particular note was his recommendation to try the Morton Bay Bugs - a delightful culinary discovery that stands out as a highlight of our gastronomic adventures in the city. In conclusion, our stay at Park Hyatt Melbourne exceeded our expectations in every way. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire team at the hotel for making our stay such a pleasant one. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Jan & Malgorzata Krzak

I was in the industry for over 11 years back in the late 90s and 2000s. This hotel keeps the heritage look and feel alive. It also keeps the old skool level of service, which is always welcomed in 2023. We came in with our newborn baby, straight from the Womens Hospital, and instantly, we were welcomed and given wine and dessert. We also were also surprised that the notes on the Booking.com request were read, understood and a higher, quieter, room was allocated. The stay reminded me of my old Hotel in its hay day. The Hilton on the Park. Brilliant from the Bell staff, to front reception and through to Guest Services that took note of not just the requests, but also the reasons behind each request. This ensured continuity at each point of contact and each additional request. A truely human centred approach with high levels of value. Thanks to everyone for working in unison and working at that high level across the three days. Regardless of each role, each role played the part in creating the stay we will remember. Cheers, Matt, mum and bub.

sometimes you stay at large CBD hotels and it's all very impersonal. Not at the Park Hyatt. from the resident Labrador to all the staff. everyone was friendly and efficient. the door staff are on top of there game storing luggage and parking cars. our room was well appointed with simply beautiful bed linen & towels. the buffet breakfast us very good. we made use of the spa facility which features a large indoor pool & jacuzzi plus sauna & steam in the changing rooms. the location of the hotel is excellent as just behind the Victoria parliament building. quiet with zero road noise. you can easily walk down Collins street or catch a Tram

Housekeeping don't forget to replenish the in room teabags. us Brits love our Tea!

True hospitality, building well maintained, clean, excellent food, beautiful quiet location right on the city’s edge.

Very minor - Pool paving, tiling and grates etc. have become grotty and need replacing. More important - I left with a really sore neck from the pillows. The feathers are beautiful, but throughout the night the pillow height decreases to nothing and there is no support. I woke every morning with pain. Having options would remove this issue. Even though our stay was otherwise absolutely faultless & it is a stunning hotel, this would deter me from coming back if I was coming from interstate.

I misunderstood the price of breakfast when booking in ( $80 ) thinking it was for two mornings not one, however upon reflection I remember the breakfasts at $40 some years ago. $80 is up there, however you provide an amazing selection. When I arrived the second morning at about 9.40 am, the staff struggled to find me a table; then upon finding it I took my time with fruit as a starter and some conversation with a Canadian couple on tour for the first time. Stepping up now at 10 am to order my eggs, I realised you finish breakfast at 10 am!! I had to plead for the toaster to be turned on picking up two pieces of bread off the toaster because all the bread had been put away; the staff kindly asked the chef to put the slices in the fire oven; then I had to "pinch" the last two butter dishes off a staff members tray; most items were now taken away, however I was fortunate enough to get some bacon and mushrooms, but missed out on the tomato!! Won't make that mistake again!

We were part time residents for six years from 2009 to 2015, guaranteeing a minimum of 30 nights a year at a favourable rate. having built a home in the suburbs with our adult children, we now stay there when we come to Mellbourne and since Covid don't come as often. We love the Park Hyatt, for location, classiness, quality, staff etc, etc, so I am not about to be too critical. Having just returned from five weeks in the US, coping with the exchange rate, apart from a few outstanding hotels, the PH is right up there. Our last night was at The Grand Hyatt in San Francisco which is a very average hotel. We will always come back.

Fantastic location close to the tennis arenas, in walking distance to the city centre and Fitzrovia gardens, in a very tranquil and green area. The facilities are amazing, including the scenic tennis court for guests. The building itself is iconic. Rooms were kept impeccably clean with plenty of amenities

The level of noise from the neighbouring rooms / toilet flushing can be quite disturbing. Anything below the premium rooms tend to have lower ceiling / windowsnfacing another building. We would definitely stay at Park Hyatt again but would ensure that the room has a better size / view.

The suite was very nice. It is a very quiet location. Room service was very good - fast and good food

I booked a terrace suite room. However, the room was a suite but there was no terrace just what appeared to be a really a pathway between the actual terrace suites which were on either side of us. There wasn’t even enough room to stretch your legs out sitting there on a chair. If I had known this is what we would be given, I would never have booked this room. I invite you to look at both yours and the Park Hyatt’s pictures of the terrace suite that you are supposed to be booking, and then imagine it without the terrace because that’s what we were given. I feel that I was misled about what I was paying for. It was very disappointing.

It was incredible and a small issue I had was resolved with going above and beyond we had an amazing stay.

On request for a quiet room, across from us had loud guests and children early in the morning and into the night and staff were also quite loud at 10pm attending to these guests whether it was room service etc. But that is the only flaw and I didn't want to complain and spoil there time, but since there was a request for quiet room, it was not.

The room was well appointed and had all the necessary needs that I would expect from a premium hotel. I felt the hotel room and price paid was fair value and I do not believe I was ripped off like other hotels I have Stayed

The booking for my hotel room directly with the hotel. I quoted a discount code for my stay as an attendee of the conference group (We were in the Cuba Room for 2 days (incidentally the lighting was appalling in the Cuba Room and we could not read our material) the price given was the same as booking.com. I told the receptionist I will book my 2 rooms with bookings.com and hung up.
