I rarely write reviews, but Caro Hotel deserves it. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in, blending authentic charm with modern luxury. The minibar is included and restocked daily, and the location is ideal for exploring Valencia. Breakfast was a treat—I enjoyed a Spanish omelet next to ancient rocks, adding a unique touch of history. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

Gorgeous boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet corner just a short walk to amazing restaurants/bars! Beds were amazing! Like sleeping on clouds and the free mini bar was great too! Restaurant served amazing food and the drinks were perfect! It was our 36th wedding anniversary and the hotel spoilt us by giving Prosecco and beautiful homemade chocolates on arrival.

The only thing and it’s a personal preference is that there is no private bathroom! Abit chilly on exiting the shower! 😂oh and no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, you had to ring up for it. Was included in the room price and was quick but I like to make my own!

The location is really good as it’s right in the centre of town but also located down a quiet street. The hotel has a boutique feel and the staff are very helpful and attentive.

The swimming pool is not very big.

Fantastic location. The hotel is located in an old castle, there is a little fragment of it in each room however it’s too ascetic. Some upstairs rooms of the room have unfinished ceiling and I don’t think it’s due to keeping the rooms original. Unfinished ceiling like in cheap officespaces plus my biggest issue was the lack of lights. I was put in a room with high unfinished ceiling and small lamp in the corner. The lamp was actually just a light bulb. I understand minimal accessorizing, but it made me feel like I am in the prison cell in the evening. It was so dark that I couldn’t even do my work. It was tiny table in the other corner, no desk no good light. It looked like the room was never finished so I was kind of depressing.

Beautiful high quality hotel, very comfortable room, fantastic staff who were friendly and very helpful. Wonderful location in the best, quietest part of the old city, really close to the park and all the main attractions. We had a beautiful suite with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and modern. Really comfortable big bed. Great office desk area to work remotely. Complimentary mini-bar a great plus. Breakfast amazing and the staff could not be more obliging. Even house keeping were great. We have booked to stay again.

Nothing really. Only issue was the slightly patchy WiFi which did drop out a few times. I don't know if this was just an issue during our stay. Mostly it worked fine.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff who were very professional. The little touches like a card on your bed each night telling you the weather for the next few days with a treat, the coffee brought to your room, lovely comfortable beds and pillows set the hotel apart. It’s clean and has a beautiful fresh fragrance throughout the hotel. It’s air conditioned during the hot days so you walk into a nice cool room. Valet parking is so helpful in the Old Town you just arrive and they park your car. The Roman ruins throughout the building are incredible. Would highly recommend the hotel.

The location is great, hotel is great but the real difference is the staff. Super friendly but very genuine with it, which is a hard balance to strike. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences we've had.

Caro Hotel truly exceeded all my expectations. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything. The room was unique, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — I usually struggle to sleep while traveling, but here I slept better than ever. The staff were professional, warm, and made me feel completely at home from the moment I arrived. One moment that really touched me: we were hoping to quickly try some pasta nearby before leaving, but our taxi arrived early. The staff didn’t hesitate — he helped load our luggage efficiently and even held the taxi for us, making everything so smooth and stress-free. Their kindness was beyond what I can even express. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of delicious options, all of outstanding quality. The atmosphere during breakfast is simply magical; imagine dining right beside a centuries-old Arabic wall! As a history lover, it was a dream come true. I can’t recommend Caro Hotel enough and am already looking forward to my next stay.

The care and attention to detail from the staff was exceptional! The hotel itself is put together considering everything in mind and the little touches in the room and hotel in general really make a difference to the overall stay which leave you feeling relaxed. Our room with the exposed beams and centre piece bath was just beautiful. The property is in an excellent location and we loved that we were offered a welcome drink as soon as we arrived followed by a map and a talk through of the areas in Valencia and things we might like to see and do; this was an excellent touch and the member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing and the friendly service from the waitress Sonia was incredible, remembering our drink requests from the previous morning and bringing them over without ordering. This was the best hotel we’ve stayed in for a city break both for the hotel itself with its design and facilities and the exceptional service from all of the staff who could not do enough for us.

Location was wonderful as we could walk to most places. The room was spacious. We appreciated the gratuitous full bar. I liked the sink outside the toilet and shower area. I like the mixture of old and modern - we were in room 25 and the saved "ancient" wall was incredible. The breakfast was probably the best I have had anywhere. The service of the staff was outstanding, particularly Briejo (fellow with beard who provided map and recommendations) and Paulo as well as people at reception.

I'm not a fan of modern, but i still thought the hotel was very elegant.
