Looks clean. Not a big room but enough space for staying. Nice staffs and they even stored my suitcase after checking out.

I liked my stay at this hotel because it is very nice, well located with a subway station less than 5 minutes away and served by several lines. The room was as clean and spacious as the photos on the site showed, with an iron and hairdryer included. The bathroom was well lit, with everything I needed for my shower, such as towels, shampoo, shower gel, and skin cream. You could also request what you needed by using the small QR code, which includes dishes, snacks, hygiene products, or a universal adapter for your European chargers. The staff was very welcoming, attentive and I had no problems I recommend this hotel

Staff are excellent. Very obliging and always pleasant.. I liked the room a lot. Smallish but I'm fine with that. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The pillows were of very good quality and plenty of them. I've stayed at the Adlon, Claridges and Caesars Palace. The bed was as good as any of them. The room was also spotlessly clean.

No lift. I have COPD and was originally allocated a top floor room. The receptionist, Aaron sorted me out with a ground floor room. Food and beverages were confined to few snacks and drinks on sale at reception. I was back to the hotel at about 11 each evening. The front door was always locked and it was necessary to ring the bell and await the receptionist.

Authenticity of Notting Hill district. Felt like home. Traditional British bedrooms you can find in a big family home. Very kind service from everybody. I like the fact that this hotel is not an ultra modern one. You want a real Notting Hill experience like in the movie, this is your place.

Nothing. It is perfect because it is imperfect and this is why I like it. It feels you travel to the Notting Hill movie. I don’t like boring modern Novotel hotels with 6 elevators. I like authentic locations that are preserved.

I loved the location 10/10, bed was very comfy, my room was small yet had everything I needed. Temperature was perfect, room service was done on a daily basis. Very cute cookies every day with my tea selection. And tube and all bus stops are just steps away from the hotel. Downstairs staff were very polite and nice. I loved staying there overall.

Only one thing - how I could hear the neighbors walking in the hallway and floors were making noise. I guess all old buildings have this issue. But some neighbors were ignorant about others and were smashing their doors loudly. That would wake me up in the middle of the night.

The location was pretty decent. Right around the corner are decent shops and restaurants. The room was small but clean. The area was quiet despite being near a main road.

There was no aircon, just a fan, so it was hot at night. Slept with the window open. There is no lift, and the front desk lady could not assist, so had to haul my luggage upstairs. That was not fun. I have a bum leg so this was particularly troublesome. Note- the Notting Hill station also does not have lifts so if you are schlepping luggage, or have trouble with stairs... you will feel like you are an Everest sherpa.

I used it again after the last time. The room was nicely renovated. The facilities were clean and well-equipped. On the day of departure, I was able to leave my luggage after checking out, which was very helpful. I forgot to ask his name, but the male staff member on night duty was very friendly and attentive, and provided the best service‼

As usual, there is no breakfast. They said they are currently planning to open a restaurant, but...

A beautiful, cozy little place in the heart of Notting Hill. Its perfectly located really near a tube station and shops/cafes are very close. Was the perfect base to see all of London. The staff was exceptional. Every single person was sweet, helpful and kind. Marianna was a the day desk (a big thank you to you). The room was cozy with everything you need. I had a singles room but would go for a double next time. For me it was too small. I will come back to the The Abbey.

Excellent location, so close to the tube to anywhere, buses, shops, cafes and restaurants and of course Portobello Road.

Shower situation wasn’t ideal (hand held only), and fresh towels etc would have been great. The room was cold with no double glazing and a bit of a draft.

The location is hard to beat bang in centre of everything and on the central line. Surprisingly quiet though. Staff (Aron?) very nice and helpfull. We had room nr 11, nice an big for me and my mum. It was a hot weekend, no airco, but we had a fan.

The bathroom needs some TLC. Walls show sign of leak issues from upstairs.
