MUST STAY ❤️ I recently stayed at Park Regis Anchorage and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional staff, top-notch facilities, and outstanding service. From the property general manager to staff, everyone was not only professional but also incredibly welcoming, exceptionally friendly and attentive, making every interaction pleasant. The staff also took time to get to know their guests, making anyone feel welcome. The facilities were well-maintained providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Service was prompt and efficient, with every request handled with a smile. Outstanding location, walking distance to the best hotels, restaurants, wine bars, maritime museum, city shopping. A short hope across the Ross Creek and you’re in the heart of Town. Good, secure parking, clean facilities and loads of room. The queen bed was excellent, more cooking facilities and utensils than many places, big cold ‘fridges, fast WiFi and a BIG smart TV.. What a surprise!! Amazingly good for the price. Also, some wonderful views of the river, Castle Hill and the CBD.

Nothing serious or major.. just needed some minor attention to a few items with fair wear and tear..

The place is a walking distance to the Strand and the main streets. It has got a secure car park and the hotel is based on a quiet street. I like the space of the apartment and the balcony facing the port. Room service was offered every day.

The living room has got a sofa where a 3rd person could sleep. Unfortunately the fridge was working very loudly and it was difficult to sleep at all. Some window blinds we could not touch as they were easily falling down and were full of dust. The bath was dirty when we arrived. We asked at the reception to clean it but during our stay it was not cleaned at all, so we only used the shower. The ceiling lamps need to be washed due to insects from time to time. Some equipment was quite old and can possibly be replaced.

The room was very clean. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in the 2 brm townhouse and it was handy having a toilet downstairs in the laundry, and another in the bathroom upstairs. It was great having a grassy area off the downstairs patio - good if you were staying with children. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony upstairs, looking at the views while having some drinks. The staff were very helpful and friendly also. The location was fantastic and within walking distance into the city and had pubs and cafe's nearby.

The reception staff, were fabulous and very accommodating, after my husband had a medical emergency two days into our 8 day stay, which resulted in him being admitted to hospital for 15 days and our stay being extended to 20 days.

The manager was grumpy and not very welcoming or friendly. Angela the head cleaner was great, the others, not so much. I didn't need my room serviced every day, so I was disappointed that when they did come in, they did the absolute bare minimum, with some of them seeming to have no real idea on what they should be doing.

The location was excellent.

The unit was okay but the money we paid I would have thought the lounge would have been a lot more comfortable, there are springs or something that when you sit on it they feel like they are going to stick up your bottom. We spent most of our time sitting on the chairs as the lounge was very uncomfortable. The washing machine stops at the last spin and you have to move it on and then when it spins, it doesn’t spin all the water out . The clothes are dripping with water!!! Exhaust fan in the bathroom is needed!!!

The room we stay 2 bedroom apartment was massive. Fully functioning kitchen, 4 beds when we only needed 2 and 2 bathrooms and a comfortable lounge & the balcony was massive too. Beds were really really comfy.

Only thing that was a downside to us was it was advertised as having cable/foxtel television, we had a Hisense tv and followed the instructions of going through every channel to get to Foxtel and it didn’t work for us at all/couldn’t find it. Other than that we would happily stay again.

The hotel was in a location that suited us for the one night stay. Nice and quiet and opposite the Marina. The Pizza/Pasta restaurant next to the hotel was handy for dinner. We enjoyed a walk into the city centre where there are some lovely old buildings. Great to have easily accessible parking. Staff were welcoming and the room was clean.

We stayed in a hotel room so no kitchen facilities/ability to make breakfast (there are other room options)

Reception staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable, made me feel at home immediately. The location was 10/10 with plenty of eateries within 5 minute walk and easy access across to the CBD. It also felt very secure and being able to park behind gated access was very reassuring.

It would have been good if there was a microwave in the room.

- Location. It’s in the heart of Townsville but still in a quiet patch on the street. - Big & spacious - Friendly staff - Comfortable - Quiet - Nice views out on balcony

- The air con in the room is directly above the bed head. So it is a bit cold with it on. Yet a bit hot with it off. Overall though, this is a really good place to stay. I was happy.
