The hotel was far better than expected after reading some of the reviews. It is a perfect location for sightseeing and walking all around Porto. The staff were extremely helpful and the bar/reception area is both stylish and inviting to sit. The cocktails and selection of beverages was very good and the staff knowledgeable and informative. The bedroom was clean and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was big with beautiful fittings. We loved all the modern, quirky decor throughout the hotel. The breakfast selection looked good and is a very reasonable price but we are not breakfast people so cannot comment on the taste. We would be more than happy to stay again and would like to thank all the staff that made our stay so pleasant.

Would be nice if Bathrobes and slippers were provided in the room.

Hotel had very good location !!! Historical centre of Porto was only 1 km away !!! SAO BENTO Railway Station / Metro Station was opposite the hotel !!! Plenty of eating joints 100 metres away !!!Staff was excellent - very responsive , courteous , cooperative , helpful , provided tourist information too !!! Breakfast too was excellent !!! Toiletries were in good supply !!! Room was big and spacious !!! Writing desk and chair and WIFI facility was excellent !! Very comfortable bed !!! Lighting in the room was very good !!!

Central location.... Very modern hotel which was extremely clean..staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and beds were very comfy. Air con was really efficient and very quiet. Plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom was beautifully decorated with same theme as hotel which was grey and charcoal. Shower area was huge and toiletries were plentiful.

Our only criticism was the lighting in the bathroom which needed to be brighter. Shaving and putting makeup on was difficult

The hotel is in a great location, near to the sights, restaurants and to public transport. The staff were great and the breakfast sufficient. The hotel and the room have a great and modern design and each room has a nespresso machine. My only remark is regarding the interior room and is listed below.

I have stayed a lot of times in hotels in the rooms with interior views, but never have I experienced that the room had a window which was taped over with a photo wallpaper. I know that it was to hide the "ugly" interior side of the courtyard with plumbing and such, but it would be much better to have an actual window to the outside, no matter how the outside looks like. This way it feels really claustrophobic and dark. Photo is attached for reference.

Fantastic Hotel + Location. Stayed at the hotel 17/02-19/02 for a city break to celebrate my wifes birthday. Spoke with the hotel before travelling to organise the room to be set up for her birthday. Brought banners & balloons and it was all set up to a high standard. We were also provided with a bottle of wine, birthday cake and a card from the hotel staff wishing her happy birthday. Also emailed to asked for recommendations for a nice meal. MUU steakhouse was one of the best meals we have ever tried. Would highly recommend this hotel for a city break as location and staff are brilliant.

I had a great stay at Porto Royal Bridges Hotel! The room was very nice – clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. The breakfast was good, offering a nice selection to start the day right. The location is superb, right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto!

Beautiful large room w a floor to ceiling window offering a nice view of the street below bustling w activity. But quality soundproofing kept the room quiet. Big shower. Stayed at 4* hotels in 6 cities on this latest sojourn to Europe and Porto Royal Bridges had the best breakfast.

Leaving. Wonderful hotel. In addition, as much as people like to brag about how great Lisbon is, Porto blows it away. Great city. Lisbon's minor league next to Porto.

Very suprised by how nice the hotel was, the photos on Booking don't do it justice! Very moder design, nice lobby and bar and breakfast area. The room was wonderful, big enough, comfortable bed and very nice shower. Breakfast was amazing. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel, and there are some nice restaurants just behind the hotel. The staff was extremly helpful and polite!

Rooms very warm can't turn down temp beyond 17 Our room's lighting was quite dingy; to pull curtain for daylight but no net curtain. Just a huge window for hotel across the road to see in Hot breakfast item ie scrambled egg /mushrooms /bacon were not filled to keep up Coffee and "hot food " all cold or mildy luke warm despite out of machine

The 'Double Room with City View' is spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and highly functional. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was well-served, offering a wide variety of food choices, including fresh fruits, diverse breads, and local delicacies like pastel de nata and quesadas. The location is excellent, close to the metro station and major tourist attractions. This is my hotel of choice when staying in Porto.
