Communication from Castle Collection was spot on. Received multiple emails on the morning of check-in with instructions on how to get into the property. Rang the week before regarding parking which was only 5 mins away and got clear instructions from the person I spoke to. Fantastic location, surrounded by bars, etc. and round the corner from the Cavern Club which is where we were going. Very spacious accommodation and very clean. Will definitely stay again.

It was a pity there was no complimentary tea/coffee which I suppose should have been expected with it being an apartment rather than a hotel.

The 2 bedroom apartment was really spacious, loads of room and the location was excellent. Castle street is a lively street full of gorgeous restaurants

It was said in other reviews but because of the location it was noisy. The 2 bed apartment was on the 3rd floor so it wasn't that bad but I did bring earplugs incase. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor so a bit of a trek for anyone with mobility issues, again this was in the review so I know before going and it wasn't a problem for us

Location was excellent close to the Cavern Area, Dale street, Albert Docks and Liverpool one.. all within 10 mins. The accommodation had everything you would need and more for an easy home from home feel. Instructions clear for collection of keys and parking in the area

The noise from the Castle Town House music next door to the apartments went on until 1am so no chance of sleep before this time. Then we could hear the roosting pigeons start at 4am. We are in our 50s so if you're a younger party this probably wouldn't bother you

Location is absolutely excellent - a really vibrant area right on your doorstep. Check in process was smooth with good communication and as the property was available earlier we were able to gain access before 3pm which was good for dropping in bags and exploring. It’s really good that you are emailed right away so you know: big thumbs up for that. Property was clean and spacious with all amenities as promised. Slight issue with the lighting in the living room was dealt with straight away with good communication and pleasant interactions. Would stay again.

Despite being clean, the furnishings are slightly worn with visible signs of wear and tear. The staircase up to the top room - although an interesting original feature - was difficult to navigate and could pose an issue for some. We had a warm 2 days in Liverpool and with this type of property heat was retained, I preempted this and took a portable fan as it was hot inside.

Didn’t have air conditioning, and we had to have the windows open all night… so we didn’t get much sleep , the fan that was in the hall , we thought we’d take it up to the bedroom, didn’t work, and as you walked up the spiral staircase the heat hit you , … to hot to sleep… and Because of noise levels, not complaining about that , we’re above restaurant n bars … But if had air con. We could of closed the windows n had a better night sleep Also my son went back to the apartment, and there was a man in there , doing the door handle, we wasn’t told about this , so I was quite annoyed 😒, that someone had entered our apartment with out our acknowledgment…

I had an issue with my email but was able to call and sort out our access without difficulty. The person on the phone was courteous and helpful. Great location and everything you need while on vacation. This is the second Castle Collection Apartment we have stayed at in Liverpool. Well priced if you are able to book early. Very comfortable and convenient. Everything is just outside your door.

It would have been nice to have a small table of some kind near the couch rather than needing to place items on the floor.. Directions for the oven and the washer/dryer would have been useful as we were unable to get the dryer to dry very well. In Canada the single unit like that is uncommon.

owning a decorating company i notice things , quite a few damages walls and a few water marks from damp spots that have not been treated , window frames all need either replaced or sanded filled and painted properly just been coated over and over badly , iron board didnt work , also could do with a rubber mat outside shower as stepping out on to a wet tiled step roughly 10'' high will someday lead to someone getting hurt .Altough my didnt likes looks bad it onlys pointers for a better stay , i would book again and everytime i was in liverpool

The only thing I didn't like would have been the shower when you're having a shower like every 1 minute you would hear a big noise. The noise is the same as when you're flushing the toilet, but the shower is constantly hearing that noise.

The location is absolutely perfect, so central! The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the towels were really good quality. It felt spacious and the check-in instructions were clear and easy.

I feel it could definitely benefit from an upgrade, the tv wasn’t working properly and it felt a little dated. It is an old building so it was cold but the heaters provided were good. They only provide a very small amount of shower gel, toilet roll etc but this is to be expected.

The apartment was lovely and like a home away from home. Comfy couch and bed, kitchen was lovely, with all the appliances you needed. Close to all the amenities and sites. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back soon ourselves.

The only downside was no lamps in the bedroom, only the main light. Plus, there is only one socket in the bedroom in an awkward place. Not ideal. Only little things that didn't take anything away from the stay.
