We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town during our honeymoon from August 2–6, 2025. The hotel went above and beyond with thoughtful honeymoon preparations that made our experience truly special. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the V&A Waterfront with beautiful views. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. We highly appreciate the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town.

Unfortunately, the check-in process was quite disappointing. Despite arriving early, we were unable to check in immediately, which we understood. However, even after the official check-in time of 2 PM, the process was significantly delayed. It wasn't until 3:40 PM that we finally received our room key. A simple apology or a small gesture of goodwill, such as complimentary refreshments or anything, would have greatly improved our initial experience.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel values quality and guest experience. The attention to detail in every aspect—from the beautifully curated furniture to the elegant decor—made for a truly luxurious and inviting atmosphere. Every corner of the hotel felt thoughtfully designed, creating a space that was both stylish and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet. It was simply spectacular! A wide variety of fresh, high-quality options catered to every taste, and the presentation was just as impressive as the flavours. Whether you prefer a light, healthy start or a more indulgent breakfast, the selection was outstanding. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Looking forward to my next visit!

The lift’s card scan function was a bit glitchy, so we had to use the stairs at times. It would have also been great to have a small cutlery set in the room for takeaways. But other than that, everything else was perfect!

Perfect location. The hotel is beautiful. Stylish room with a sea view. The breakfast buffet is varied and caters for all… the assortment is delicious! The management and waiters at the restaurant are great.

Initially I had some problems with the cleanliness of my room which was resolved almost immediately. The reception staff may need some additional training in customer service. The coffee could be much better… they either need a dedicated barista or a different source of coffee bean. In saying this, I noticed that they were installing a lounge with a coffee bar adjacent the entrance lobby.

Our stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront was legendary and luxurious from arrival to departure. All the hotel facilities, the room, the view, the room service, the breakfast, and the facilities were fantastic. The staff were the best. They were very helpful, kind, and cheerful. The concierge helped us and mademany things easy for us. I want to thank all the Radisson Blu staff and the concierge for making our stay great. We will definitely come back to stay here again. This place is truly unmissable. Thank you.

Fantastic breakfast and location. We even had dolphins swimming in the sea in the morning as we ate breakfast. The staff gave a warm welcome and arrival glass of bubbles was a lovely touch. Porter was fantastic with helping with luggage too and it was great to be able to use the spa showers to get ready before the airport on our check out day.

The rooms were a little outdated and we had a room facing the front of the hotel which was pretty noisy. If we were staying longer than a night we would opt for a sea view room.

Beautiful hotel with lovely, welcoming staff, amazing views and great facilities. Perfectly situated for visiting Cape Town with V&A Waterfront just round the corner. Breakfast and swimming whilst watching the dolphins was just amazing. Perfect way to spend our 25th wedding anniversary.Thank you David Manfred and all those who made our stay so special. Check-in. Staff didn't understand booking from Booking.Com. We felt that Booking.com hadn't communicated properly to the Hotel. For instance we didn't have a kid in our entourage yet one of our rooms was booked for an adult and a baby. We felt we could have been over charged by Booking.Com because you communicated more persons to the hotel than we actually booked. But overall, we had a good time in Cape Town!

The only restaurant with a rather limited choice of dishes if you want to have lunch or dinner. The price of accommodation is quite high, there is no smart TV, ordering food to the room only by phone, which is a little difficult for people with limited knowledge of English. We did not find any booklet in the room describing the hotel services.
