I love this hotel, I did and I will book it again in the future.... It is very close to the valley and the bridge to felons Wich is one of the best parts of Brisbane...The staff at the reception is just amazing. They gave us the best recommendations. The rooms are very clean and the whole hotel is just amazing. Everything about it is perfect... Depends on the time of the booking but you can get a room very cheap for the best standard. The location is perfect, the view of the rooms stunning and very modern, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the best experience in Brisbane with my partner in the past and for sure whenever we are in Brisbane again just because of this place. Thank you to the whole team. Will be back soon.

I didn't like that the security in front of the late entrance was too offensive and didn't have a proper manner and didn't know how to talk to guests(probably because of a big AFL footy event in brisbane) although absolutely unprofessional security in the first contact gave me the feeling of being a criminal for no reason. I have been in this hotel before and at that time it wasn't an issue.

It was a quiet and comfortable stay. Great views, and clean. Ladies at the reception were friendly. This was my third visit and would stay again. The motel is quite busy at times, especially trying to get an elevator at check out. There are no inhouse restaurants or bars.

Body corporate rules a little over the top. Basically you cannot put anything down the garage chute, and carry recyclables down into the loading dock area. Plus you can not wheel your bike across the reception area, but you can wheel your bags and walk through with dirty shoes. Also you need to be buzzed into the reception area each time, and we were questioned by the security guard several times. You need to take the stairs from the carpark area into the reception area, lifting your bags.

Oaks Aurora Suites are in a great location - short walk from the CBD and across the road to the riverside ferry and all the restaurants. Check-in was easy and the room had everything needed for a short (or longer stay). All was clean. I liked the added security in place at the doors so you certainly felt that only guests were able to get onto the floors. Small convenience store and bottle shop right at the front door to get supplies in. Parking was $45 a night but this is standard for hotels in the centre of the city so that is what it is. Would happily stay again.

Good location - room exceeded expectation as we had booked 3 bed 2 bath apartment for 6 persons and were given a 3 bed 3 bath apartment so excellent for our group - also had a large outdoor balcony area = this was Room 523 However, on a separate note - there were 10 in our group so had initially booked 2 x three bed 2 bath apartments and the second apartment, whilst having the 2 bathrooms - both bathrooms were located as ensuite upstairs and therefore the downstairs 3rd bedroom had no direct access to a bathroom unless entering someone else's bedroom - this was totally unsatisfactory. I will add there was a downstairs toilet. This apartment - Room No 529 is therefore totally unsuitable for groups of friends of 6 travelling together.

Room 529 is classed as a 3 bed 2 bath apartment, however both bathrooms are linked to the upstairs bedrooms and are both ensuite - therefore the downstairs 3rd bedroom does not have access to a bathroom unless going through someone else's bedroom

The staff are very friendly. The location was good and was within close proximity to restaurants and shops. Its about a 8 min walk to Queen St Mall. The room had good comfortable beds and had enough kitchen utensils for cooking etc. and also had a coffee machine which was a bonus. The view of the room was good overlooking the river.

The aircon was setting itself to a hotter temp at night. We would go to bed cold as it is set at 22C then we would wake up in sweat because the AC would switch the temp to 25C, its like its set a temp at a certain time and its not changeable. Also had someone smoke on their balcony which caused me to have an asthma attack. (Supposed to have been a smoke-free hotel). The vent cover above the toilet also fell and had the ac vent exposed which was loud at night. (Lucky it didnt fall when someone was using the toilet as it was located directly above it)

The fact the apartment is so spacious and the location of the hotel is right in the heart of brisbane city. In our room we had a list of places we could eat and they were only a couple of minutes walk from the reception door. Car parking was made easy by having a guest park for us to be able to park our car and grab the keys to both the garage and room instead of driving around the block looking for a carpark. The rooms had so much space and privacy. I would come back here if I'm ever in Brisbane again. Very clean hotel. I've read the reviews and they have super fast elevators now. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was actually all good.

The corner room suite had the most amazing views with a large balcony. No issues whatsoever with the lifts - all very fast and frequent with one currently being upgraded. Car park entrance is 2 half stairways up from reception and was not difficult to transport luggage down. Fantastic location with handy 7/11 and coffee shop on ground floor. Very comfortable beds. Lovely staff on reception at all times.

Minor issue with tumble dryer causing dust on floor. Parking - found the entrance using Sat Nav no problem and finding a space could be problematic but we managed.

The location was excellent. Close to the ferry, train, and bus services. Many places to eat for all budgets. Recommend walking away from the river for more reasonable places. Mall close by to buy anything you forgot or want. This was known as an apart-hotel, meaning it had a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We did not have maid service but reception gave us dish soap and laundry detergent in order to wash things. I would stay here again.

Hot tub spa was not warm enough.

I loved the cleanliness. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and very helpful. Was absolutely great value for money, was a shame we only stayed 1 night for a concert. Also great walking distance to fortitude valley station, and having a coffee shop and 24/hr mart downstairs was a bonus!

The lifts were very confusing, on arrival we couldn’t find them, perhaps some better signs would help. and we couldn’t get the lift down to the basement without the buzzer when trying to go for a drive, was very confusing. The staff helped tho :)

Loved the view over the river, and location was brilliant. The speed of the lifts, access only to your floors, and the security of the building. The staff were amazingly helpful in providing information and maps. Happy staff are the best to have, and yours certainly were very positive. Thanks for the stay

Access from the carpark. The instructions were followed but didn't work. Someone returning let us in thankfully. Having to carry bags downstairs is not something I can do, luckily my friend could. Then again there was another resident who helped with access to the front desk floor. I believe something was waiting to be repaired, however a plan put in place to manage the issue should have been prioritised. unfortunately the pool wasn't available.
