The staff were lovely at reception. The lady that checked us in was very pleasant and he accommodated our needs as I had just got out of hospital having had surgery, The lady was able to put us in a room close to the lift and changed our room to the second floor, she also helped carry our luggage to our room and organised a taxi to take us to the airport. Other staff were also helpful letting us put our frozen sea food in the freezer overnight. We also enjoyed having coffee and meeting other guests in the common area. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant 🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property. If anything maybe the rooms could be a bit bigger. There wasn’t much room to get into a king size bed on one side.

Hotel is handy to the airport for a nights stay and walkable, about 15 mins along the footpath which is great. You can also take airport trolleys from the airport and they have them to take back if you have bags etc. The rooms are small and basic but they have all you need, ensuite bathroom, clean, kettle tea and coffee. In the foyer downstairs they have a communal small kitchen type place you can heat meals, make hot drinks and dine in. We ate out at the nearby shopping centre which has a super market, Taco Bell, warehouse etc. it’s a 2 min short walk. There also was a restaurant next door that looked good. Good supermarket nearby if you need any supplies. Would recommend staying here just for a night if you’re connecting betw flights domestic or international as easy walk and good price.

So easy to get to and from the airports. Super easy to check in. From the time we left international terminal till the kids were in bed was a little more than half an hour, this was perfect for our family! Staff were kind, quick and thoughtful on our checkin. Walked to an amazing Cafe for breakfast and ten minute walk to Butterfly creek before we had to be at the domestic terminal. We would absolutely stay here again. Beds were comfy! Good pressure in shower. Also, super close to a supermarket with basic facilities downstairs to prepare minimal food stuff (ie there's a microwave).

Nothing. This was a small room and basic amenities, but the low cost reflects this and it was all we needed.

The room& breakfast area was immaculate & the staff friendly & efficient. Although the room was tiny, thought was given to maximising the functionality of every available space. We checked in very late with a large amount of luggage. We were provided with trolleys, welcomed & checked in within less than a minute. The bed was very comfy with high quality linen. Excellent value for money!

The size of the room was a bit awkward but we were moving home from Fiji & had an unusually high amount of luggage with us. Had we just had a bag each under normal circumstances, it would have been perfectly adequate.

I have stayed in a lot if Ibis Budge hotels and this one was pretty much top of the list. Obviously, you get what you pay for, but it is an excellent option for an overnight stay close to the airport. Yes, the rooms are tight, but the bed was comfortable, the room and facilities were clean, the staff were helpful, and the restaurant next door was excellent. My only negative was that we were stung $45 for a 3-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. This is not Ibis's fault, but in future I will take the shuttle bus.

Can't walk to the hotel from the airport and information on the shuttlebus is a bit difficult to find.

Great value for money - we just needed a bed for the night as we had a early flight the next day. Rooms were clean and comfy - we were a group of three so had two rooms and the hotel accommodated our request for us to be close together - which we were - next door to each other in fact! The weather was awful and we had planned to go for dinner at the Pullman but with the rain we opted for the bistro attached to the IBIS and it was lovely. Staff at the hotel were really helpful and welcoming - check in and check out was smooth and quick. We booked the 03:30 am bus to take us to the airport - it appeared on time and whisked us away - dropping us off minutes later but I wouldn't have wanted to walk at that time in the morning!

Everything went well. The hotel is beautiful. My room was nice and clean. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The yellow bus service was great. The location of the hotel is just perfect. Its surrounded by all the famous franchises, cafes and restaurants and it is very near Manawa Mall. I really enjoyed my morning run at the native park nearby. I watched some swans in the pond and saw some beautiful birds at Butterfly Creek I believe it was next to the park

I dont know if complimentary breakfast was provided but I spent 2 nights here and on both mornings, I went to the dining area and there was no breakfast. I dont know if it was provided or not. All good if it wasnt. If it was, it would have been great if more time was provided for breakfast as it was still early when I went to the dining area. I loved the free espresso machine though which is available all day/night. This is a big bonus

I got in late at night from a long haul flight and chose to walk to Ibis to stretch my legs (there IS a bus . . right outside the terminal) It was great! A well signposted, well lit footpath lead me the short distance and the warm welcome/check in took less than a minute!! I was showered and cozy in a clean comfortable quiet room within 10 minutes . . brilliant place! A later check out to accommodate my onward travel wasn’t a problem (it wasn’t even a discussion just a smiling ‘no worries at all’) and while I waited in the sunny lounge space I enjoyed excellent coffee from the help yourself machine. There’s also a tasty looking cafe next door but I was happy in my couch browsing books from the Swap-A-Book library. The Ibis is a highly recommend from me . . loved it!

There was nothing not to like at this place. How many Airport Hotels offer right-next-door ‘quiet’ AND speedy check in AND middle-of-the-night warm smiling welcomes. This is now my ‘go to’ Airport Hotel . . no question . .

Excellent accommodation within walking distance of Auckland airport for our overnight stay before an internationnal flight the following day. Self contained room with attached bathroom - we were in an accessible unit so the room was quite spacious. The downstairs area has a microwave for heating up meals and also complimentary tea and coffeee which is really well appreciated. Supemarket is nearby so it is easy to buy meals for dinner.

People talking loudly in the corridor at 3.00am - either leaving or arriving at the hotel, but with little consideration for other guests.

The room was perfect for a solo traveller - double bed with single bunk above. Full length mirror in room well-lit from window and internal lighting. Large well-lit mirror in bathroom. Full set of towels for two people inc flannels & bathmat. Decent sized tv, kettle was easy to fill from basin and good stock of tea and milk reasonable coat/clothes hanging space but no drawers. Staff were proactive in their assistance and the location was well serviced by cheap bus service to both domestic and international terminals. There was also a decent bar next door serving reasonale selection of food to late

The room was OK for an overnight stay for one but would be a tad cramped for two with or without a child with nowhere to open cases other than on the bed. Cases would have to be left in the aisle by the door to maintain access to the bathroom
