I didn't like the fact that I booked through Booking .com and I thought I was getting the best rate only to find out that I paid way more for the two rooms I booked than those that met me there booked through the hotel paid. Not happy about that.

It was very clean and in a good location, about halfway of Pigeon Forge. The breakfast had good choices, but if you want the main breakfast you have to get there early as it gets eaten by 9. (6am-10am) The king room was very large, with a large bathroom and shower. For the money we spent (In March) it was WELL worth it.

There was only one elevator that was on the other end of the building, and we were on the 3rd floor, so we had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs. But it wasn't really a lot of stairs, so we managed it. There wasn't a whole lot of drawer/cabinet space but we made that work also. All in all it's a very decent place.

Over all this hotel was great. Nice location, right next to the Dixie stampede, great hot breakfast selections, rooms were great. Very spacious and clean.

My only complaints would be that the pillows are not that comfy. Next time I will be bringing my own pillow. And also the breakfast area was quite small. You can get a seat if you’re lucky but my boyfriend and I had to eat outside at the car a time or two.

The room was clean and met our needs The staff was friendly and helpful especially Damon who checked us in. There was a problem with booking.com sending full payment to hotel even though my credit card had been billed for the full amount. Damon was on the phone for about 30 minutes with the agent from booking.com to rectify the issue

Outside noise

The whole facility was clean and lovely. The staff was super accommodating. Breakfast was more than I expected. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends. Right in the heart of Pigeon Forge and walking distance to the Stampede, where we had dinner and a show.

I cannot think of a single thing I did not like. One could not want or expect more than what is received at this property. The staff go out of their way to be accommodating...and all for a very equitable price.

The convenience of places we like to visit.

When we arrived on the 27th the ladies at the front desk were very rude to my husband as he was checking in. Other than that the visit was a great one. Damion was very friendly & helpful.

Location was great. Breakfast was good. Included eggs, sausage, cinnamon apples, biscuits and gravy. They had bagels and toast along with yogurt. There was only Raisin Bran cereal and were out of fruit loops. Pool was clean. Room was nice and clean. Housekeeping came every morning and made up beds and cleaned and supplied fresh towels! Haven’t seen that in a while!

Beds too hard for us.

All but one of the staff members went out of their way to correct discovered issues that they could correct. They came immediately to the room to deal with the gas fireplace that wasn't lighting - corrected, and came to the room to assist with the internet/room phone connection that was not occuring. As it turned out, there was a panel problem with the house phone that apparently affected the modem as well. No house phone or internet connects for this particular room during our stay.

One staff member was just argumentative and dismissive in her responses and comments, every time we encountered her. For instance, when I let her know I didn't need a fork, but that there was only one left in the container at the breakfast buffet, she told me to go and look in another spot. I told her again that I didn't need one, I was simply letting her know that the container was nearly empty. She repeated her comment that there were forks available in another place. All she needed to do was thank me for the information. She'd been argumentative the afternoon before when I went to the office to inquire about additional coffee packets.

the Jacuzzi In the bathroom, and the fireplace in the living room, was a Nice touch during the cold weather...

It needed a lot of upgrades... You can tell this is a very, very, very old hotel!!!! Many Items did not work, ice machines, "frigs" in room kept freezing up, Luggage carts were junk... Breakfast time was the worst, YoWhen they ran out of an item, they didn't even bother replacing it..(30 mins into breakfast, OJ??) ...with anything or even anything else... The girl at the counter was also working the breakfast area, she was very agitated to be doing both!!! Snapping at people.... This was definitely a constant theme....We were there 4 days!

Loved how conveniently close it is to food & things to do. The trolley stop right out front comes in handy. Pool was great size for amount of people around.

The lower level we was right at a sitting area. We had a non smoking everytime walked outside people smoking up a storm. Smoking so bad we could smell it in room. More of a aggravation will request balcony or something different next time. Not really a complaint just know next time.
