Comfortable, clean and private with good facilities: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, all shower products. Good location as well. Value for money for sure. Online check in was very convenient as my flight was quite delayed and I arrived at the property just before midnight as a result.

It was unclear what room I had been checked into. I eventually found that your room number can be viewed in the info section of the key link. However it was never made clear where I would find that information so perhaps management should consider stating that in their welcome emails. WiFi also wasn’t very reliable or strong in the room I was staying in.

Having read many of the reviews, I think we were lucky with having an upper floor room, so weren't bothered by noise from people above, as some have reviewed. We thought the room (2) was very well appointed and a lot of thought has gone into providing everything you might need from hangers and an iron through to a fridge, coffee maker and even biscuits. It was very clean and the bed linen was crisp and white. Price-wise it was ok for a Sunday night, but having looked at Friday/Saturday night prices, I'm not sure how well it would compare to a standard hotel for value. Great location for the city with nearby bus and tram stops.

As we remember, the building was a former health club and sauna.. maybe the heat from those days lingers ☺️. We kept the window open all night, which meant the room was a comfortable temperature but some may have found it still too warm, however fans were supplied, but weren't needed. Being picky, a couple of pillows each would have been appreciated, one softer and one firmer to suit individual tastes. We couldn't fathom the towel heater in the bathroom, but only stayed one night so not really a problem. USB points would have been appreciated too.

Really helpful responsive staff greeted us by email, text and telephone. The place was relatively spacious and nicely decorated. It is well placed for the centre of Edinburgh with lots of nice cafes and pubs in the immediate area. When we arrived, we took a bus from the park and ride that left us with a ten minute walk (not bad). On the way back, we caught a bus from 20 yards away that took us all the way back.

The bathroom could do with a bit more work. The floor tile grouting was unfinished and there was black on the shower sealant. The towels could have been more generous. The wifi was slightly temperamental. All very small points though.

I found that the setup of the room was super practical and well done. The facilities were good. The location for us was superb and the public transport almost outside the door to and from the airport with the tram was also good. We were travelling as a family (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 8) and found that the room was plenty big for all four of us.

I found the solution in the bathroom good and considering it was a disabled certified bathroom it had plenty of room. The only problem was the shelving in the bathroom was made with OSB boards which were falling apart due to the damp and water. Some of the the tiles were broken and meant that there was some mould forming in the joints. I would also wish for a few more coffee or teas in the bedroom. . The beds were ok but for my liking a bit soft and they weren't double beds but two singles put together. . I didn't find anywhere a rear access or place to the park the car. That would've been good.

Was not told room number in confirmation as they claimed when called to ask when trying to access room with remote key. But answered quickly and had info straight away. Suggest when you send info of remote key use send another email with room details.

Large spacious room with en-suite. Tea/coffee making facilities and also had a fridge which was excellent. Location in Leith is walkable to the centre of Edinburgh but plenty of transport outside if needed. Codes to get in the gate, front door and then your room but it all works really easily. No reception but wasn’t an issue for me.

Not really a problem but the Tv in our room didn’t have signal. Managed to get YouTube and didn’t contact anyone regarding it so they didn’t get the chance to sort it.

The hotel is in a good area 6 minutes drive from Waverley station. There’s good links into town. The bed is comfortable and they have Netflix programmed in on the tv but no tv channels. A helpful cleaner helped aid me when I was locked out of my room.

Having a staff less complex can become quite frustrating I had an incident where the door lock didn’t quite work and I was locked out of my room with just a toothbrush. Thankfully there was a cleaner on hand to help I’d say maybe a key card for the rooms may be a better idea which you can pick up from a locked box or something.. but other than that it was decent. Well worth a stay

I liked that the bedroom was spacious, bright and with six big windows, offering us a great view. The shower was really really nice and the bathroom had a good size. Also, the location was pretty fair.

I didn't like that they didn't shared the code to get into the building as they were supposed to, so we arrived late at night with kids and had to wait outside, and reach them on the phone to be able to receive the code. I think the check-out time is too early, and think it's a shame they don't offer breakfast. Beds and pillows could be better, and the bathroom could be improved. I also particularly didn't like the decor with all those fake flowers.

Great location- easy walk to/ from train and buses and to the historic centre. Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom. Good security. There was a fridge, tea/ coffee facilities, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

The room was very warm and a bit stuffy even with the windows open. There was a fan but there were only a few power points so we couldn't position it in a very helpful position to cool down.

Well decorated, spacious, smells really nice. The toilet is massive, the beds are big, the tv and wifi works perfectly. Extremely well located, only 15/20 minutes walk from the old town centre, with a Tesco on the same block, only a couple of minutes away. Parking is as difficult as anywhere else in the UK, but there is limited free parking just around the corner. It was a perfect spot for a family trip. If I ever go back to Edinburgh, I will 100% look for this place before anything else.

The only thing we all missed was a tiny kitchen. They do provide coffe machine, kettle and a mini fridge, but it would be nice to have a bigger table where you could eat and a kitchen sink to deal with dishes.
