Sydney Hotel surpassed my expectations by far! For the price I was a bit worried about what the hotel would be like. Check in staff were friendly and lovely, the room was very clean (far cleaner than more expensive places I have stayed!!), the bathroom looked recently refurbished with lovely glass tiles in the shower and loads of shampoo, conditioner and gel provided. The bed was very comfortable and linen was super clean. Air con worked fine and nice window to open as well. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. There is a bus stop literally outside the door that takes you to Trafalgar Square or Victoria Station is a 5 mins walk away. Incredibly easy to get to and from for siteseeing. I saw many negative comments about the breakfast, I’m not sure what the issues were! Breakfast is included and so I had very low expectations. However, there was fresh organ he segments, whole apples and bananas provided along with very nice scrambled and boiled eggs (yes 2 types!), baked beans, range of cereal and more. It was exceptionally clean and efficiently serviced by two lovely ladies who kept the breakfast room tidy. I would definitely stay again. For the price exceptional.

The shower door is a bit too large so doesn’t shut completely, didn’t affect me in any way except a bit odd. The carpet in the hall to rooms has a few marks where it has been cleaned. If you need meat at breakfast you were out of luck the day we stayed, im a veggie so it didn’t worry me. Make sure you don’t get a lower floor room, ask for a higher floor room. My opinion would be very different if we had to stay in the lower floor, saw one and it is not good for someone who likes light! The beds have allergy covers that zip over the mattresses, a mattress cover over the top of this is also needed so it can be easily washed. Allergy covers are designed to be used with mattress covers as they cover off different roles.

The hotel is located close to Victoria Station, about a 5-10 minute walk away. Bus 24 passes in front of the hotel if you want to take public transportation, and is also close to Pimlico Tube Station. The reception area is small but adequate. The room is just the right size for three people, with a very clean and spacious bathroom. Additionally, there is a complimentary breakfast provided, which is great.

Freshly renovated, clean rooms with all the amenities, and very friendly staff, walking distance to Victoria station. The complimentary breakfast is a great bonus, and overall, this is hands down one of the best price-performance hotels in London. Yes, the building is old (but renovated!), the rooms are small, and you might hear guests from nearby rooms but hey, this is London!!

Honestly, nothing much to write, after reading all the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a great experience and can genuinely recommend it!

We absolutely loved our week-long stay at the hotel. The reception team was warm and welcoming right from the start. The room had everything we needed, and we were especially happy with the air conditioning. A big plus was the USB charging ports beside the beds, which meant we didn’t have to worry about adapters. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. There was a little bit of noise from cars driving by, but it didn’t bother us too much. The street was generally pretty quiet. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean, with fresh towels and toiletries always restocked. The breakfast was a great addition to our stay and the food choices were sufficient for us too. The location was perfect as well. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel, with a route that makes it easy to reach the main tourist spots. There are also two subway stations nearby, which we used frequently. The hotel is also a great starting point for exploring the city on foot. :) We will make sure to book this hotel again on our next stay!

The only minor downside was that the shower drained a bit slowly. But it was easy enough to adapt, just meant taking slightly shorter showers and rinsing more efficiently. :)

Location was great, extremely close to Pimlico station, and the bus stop is located exactly in front of the main door. and within walking distance of the central station of the city, called Victoria Station. The staff were sweet and supportive as they fixed my fan really quickly. and showed me other options for the room if i wanted to change.

The breakfast egg was smelly and watery, and also repetitive. I was there for 8 nights. It was a disaster not to see the change. Maybe you guys could make a slight change on odd days, for example, to offer tomato omelette or sunny side up fried egg or something like this. The room wasn't spacious either.

I am travelling for conferences so a good night sleep is what I am looking for. It is a good hotel which is comfy, tidy and clean. Staff are attentive. The most important element is its air con- essential for London Summer. It is also located in a good location with loads of local amenities and close to City of London.

The room isn't massive. It's still more than enough for my business trip and good for London standard. Moreover, the sound-proofing isn't perfect, but it doesn't affect my good night sleep. The breakfast isn't the best in town, but it can't complain because it's free.

Location - you will make it into Oxford St in 10 mins. Pimlico Station only 5 mins walk from hotel and only 3 stops into Central London. Hotel is 5 mins walk from restaurants, bars, cafés and supermarkets. Clean - rooms spotless, housekeeping done every day Staff - all very friendly and attentive Shower - good hot water and plenty of it. Quiet - our room overlooked a main road but we had no issues with noise.

Room was very small but that was my own fault I booked a "Petit Double" to save a few €. It was made very clear in room description that the room was small and boy, it was. I would stay here again in a flash but would pay a little more for a standard double room. My OH and I are not particularly big but we found bed and room cramped.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to Victoria Train/Bus Station and the pier for boat as well; the room is really small, which makes me think it's a bit overpriced, however I guess in general London's hotels are all overpriced; but the room is clean and has everything, can't complain more; they provide free breakfast, which was very simple (bread, eggs, beans, cereals, fruits, coffee and tea), but better than not providing anything. Considering the market of hotel in London, this one is not too bad.

As mentioned, room is small and could easily hear the sound from outside, breakfast is too simple.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a centrally located place in London. - The location is excellent – close to Pimlico and Victoria tube stations, and within walking distance of Big Ben, the British Parliament, and Hyde Park. - The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. - A big plus is that you can store your luggage if you arrive early or have a late flight. - We stayed in a triple room which had enough space for us. The beds could be a bit larger, but overall it was comfortable.

The breakfast could use more variety, but considering the central location and typical London standards, it was acceptable. Overall, we had a good experience and would stay here again!
