Nice spacious bedroom. Clean and tidy. Liked the bathroom but it was a disabled room on the first floor. Couldn’t be used for disabled as the lift was out of action. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice but they couldn’t cope with my wife’s dairy allergy. Had to have meals with missing items. Their idea of coping with allergies was by omission rather than substitution. Spent more on the meal for two than on the cost of the room including breakfast!

They were unclear as to what was included and not included when it came to breakfast. They need to up their game when dealing with people with allergies

The rooms are nice and comfortable. The details are really good, nice shower, comfortable beds and nice ambience to make you feel in an old but modern Victorian house.

The breakfast was quite poor. You can pay more for a better breakfast but I would have preferred to not have it or paid more and have a better one.

Beautiful building and rooms, very comfortable and strong airco that worked well during a heatwave. Staff was nice.

The restaurant is woefully understaffed and a what should have been a 30 minute lunch took 2.5 hours. The food was good, but I 100% do not recommend the restaurant if you don’t have time to waste. My colleagues and I ordered the set menu, otherwise we would have left.

We were upgraded to a suite as they didn't have a twin room and it was great. Lovely facilities and a very interesting history of the Hotel, which they don't make the most of. The suite was spacious, quiet and very well equipped, couldn't have asked for more. Its a lovely old building, not a chain hotel, and the terrace bar and restaurant looked lovely, but we didn't get a chance to sample it. The staff were all really helpful and friendly too.

the onl,y reason I marked it down on cleanliness was that the carpets and chairs were very tired looking, the place itself was very clean.

Charming hotel, well located close to Hammersmith. Easy to go anywhere in London and convenient to Heathrow airport. Room was quite small and bed wasn't very big either, but everything was clean and comfortable, bath modern and clean, with good shower, toiletries and towels. We did not have breakfast.

Everything was fine, except that we wanted to try the whisky bar in the evening, it was supposed to be open for one more hour, and it was definitely not full, or rather empty, but they put out a sign in the entrance that they would not be seating any more guests. So disappointing service there and we chose to not go back another evening.

Location excellent 8 mins walk to Baron's court station. Breakfast buffet was an excellent spread. Room (in loft) was very spacious and very clean.

Made several calls to reception to notify them of late arrival and on street parking nearby, but it was always engaged and did not ring back. Not an issue in the end! Breakfast was included in our booking, but was advised cooked breakfast was an additional gbp10per person, so we just had the buffet.

Great hotel and amazing rooms. We had the cheapest room but still spacious and had everything we needed. Kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, draws, wardrobe, safe, fridge with milk and water in and in bathroom shampoo, condition, shower gel, body cream, shower cap and toothbrush and toothpaste sachet. Air-conditioning and heated floor in the bathroom. Great powerful shower and comfy bed with different pillows. Friendly staff, happy to help, and always had a smile. Bar inside and outside really lovely and lots of choices of drinks. If you're a whisky lover, you will be in your element. We didn't have food in the hotel but it all looked really nice, especially the afternoon tea. Overall, it was a great stay in a nice area and a really good price. Would stay again 100%

Nothing.

The stay was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.

The restaurant was a major downside. The breakfasts were very poor, and for someone who doesn’t eat meat, there weren’t many options. For £17, I expected something better. Additionally, the staff added a service fee both to the breakfasts and to the drinks ordered on the patio. So, what was supposed to be an optional charge turned out to be mandatory - and we weren’t informed about it.

The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access. We felt like we were a little way out of the hustle and bustle of central London which suited our requirement perfectly. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious enough. The absolute stand out for us, however, was the Melody Whisky bar. While it might not have the same ambiance of some Whisky bars, the selection is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable. We will most certainly return here when back in London

We were in Room 2 which is across from reception. Roo. Was very quiet, never heard any noise from outside the window or from reception. Room was one of the smaller rooms available but there was plenty of room and lots of storage. Iron available in the room. Bed was SO comfy, and the AC was great considering how hot it was in London. Very close to Barron Court underground. Nice area, always felt very safe even coming back after midnight.

The only let down was the breakfast. We paid £50 more when booking to have breakfast included. We didnt realise this was continental breakfast. If we had know we would have just paid the £15 each per day for a cooked breakfast instead. You had to ask for toast and you get 1 slice each! Quite ridiculous. I heard people asking for more but it took too long to get, and honestly you should just be given 2 slices each to start with. I would never pay £12.50 each per day for a continental breakfast. I would much rather go out and get something cooked for a similar price. It should be made clear on booking that its a continental breakfast.
