This hotel is amazing, I'm happy I finally found a good one in Brussels! The location is great, close to various public transport means, easy to reach the centre, next to shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. I arrived early in the morning and went to the hotel to leave the baggage until check-in time - with no expectation to be able to check in - but they gave me a room that was already free and clean, for no additional costs. I didn't book it with breakfast but had it on some mornings and paid for it on the spot. I was pleasantly surprised by how diverse it was, compared to other Bruxelles hotel breakfasts, so if you are considering booking with or without breakfast I suggest with :)

The property is excellently renovated and designed. One of the nicest interiors and architectures I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Normally I only stay at 5 star luxury hotels, but I thought I’d go off the norm and book a familiar hotel (Scandinavian inspired and decorated). And it was as if being back home in Denmark. One of the nicest and most comfortable stays. Everything from the assistance from the staff, I’ve had a sports injury to my shoulder yet came with 3 heavy luggages. They understood immediately and helped me to the greatest effort. Everything is 10/10, and probably one of the most recommendable hotels in brussels, and especially if being near the city is a preference. Thank you for a super stay!

Lovely decoration in room and around hotel. Lots of places to sit in reception area. Water and fruit available in reception, coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Outside seating area on ground floor was a good addition to facilities, although we didn't have time to use it. Our room had a roomy balcony for our own use. Good location with a friendly cafe nearby and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

A few minor inconveniences:- light switch for bathroom would have been easier if on the other side of the door. Another chair in bedroom would have been welcome as there was plenty of space and both occupants could have sat on balcony at the same time.

The hotel was very clean, with very attentive and helpful staff too. As they were able to accommodate our request for a. quiet room, thank you very much. Breakfast in the morning was available to opt into for any number of days, offering both hot items and the classic cold continental breakfast items too. The room was very comfortable with a huge bed! The TV came with a little tablet where you could pick all sorts of TV channels and Netflix too - that was very fancy.

The big glass wall to the bathroom was a bit funny - not offering much privacy for going to the loo and such. Shame the ice machine wasn't working for an evening too.

The hotel design is great, it feels homey and welcoming. The room was also very nice, with everything that one needs, plus some floor space for my morning routine. I loved the bathroom tiles and the natural light. You also get some complimentary water and coffee pods. No tea, however. It's about 15 minutes away from Place de Luxembourg, although google maps does suggest a longer route for some weird reason. Also, very close to a big commercial artery.

The only major downside for me personally is that it is a bit away from Place de Luxembourg, where I work when I travel to Brussels. Otherwise, there may be some minor things, just to be nitpicking, like for instance no full body mirror and no wardrobe - just some coat hangers and a shelf. Other than that, it truly was a great experience.

Good location right near Louise and Stephanie, nearby walk to St Gilles and Brussels centre. Staff friendly and helpful. I had a room overlooking the road, but (with the windows shut) it was not too noisy, and I am a light sleeper. Hotel and room are decorated in white Scandinavian style, tiled bathroom looks great. The rooms aren't big but they are very nice. The bed had two pillows: one soft, one firm. I loved this! I need a firm pillow, so this makes the Hygge a place to which I'll definitely return. Wifi was good. Nespresso in the room. Bathroom included shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, really useful.

Very little not to like! A more environmentally coffee than nespresso would be good.

Hotel seems almost new, it is clean, super friendly and helpful stuff and well located. I would come back. I found the rooms on the 5th floor (attic-style) slightly less appealing than the standard ones due to the inclined roof. However, they are still nice overall. The mattress in one of these rooms felt wsy too soft, likely because it was old. Since it was late and no matress change was possible, I was easily accommodated in another room, which was a thoughtful solution.

Clean and spacious room

The breakfast was dismal. Also there was some cross-contamination such as some mushrooms in the scrambled eggs which shouldn’t have been there. I understand this is the fault of the customers but someone of the staff should be careful about those things. I am allergic to mushrooms and when I told this to the staff they just brushed off their responsibility claiming that it is the guests’ fault that some food items end up in other containers. Which is partially true but not my problem. However it should definitely be their problem.

There were 3 of us and the room was amazing- we were in a tower under a roof! We could go outside and walk around the roof/our room, it was awesome. It was also good that the beds were apart in different parts of the room so we got privacy. It was cold outside but very warm in a room. There was an option to turn on a heater but we didn’t need it. We left early so didn’t have a chance to have breakfast there. There was a coffee machine which we also used to heat up water. The district is easy to get to and there are plenty of places to eat/buy clothes, the streets around seemed a bit shabby but not scary, we returned to the hotel late and no threats were around

The doors to the toilet and bathroom are made of blurred glass. They are separated - and I like it when bathroom and toilet are not together, but maybe this semi-visibility will be not comfortable for someone. The room is spacious so there was a possibility to avoid awkwardness

The hotel is nicely decorated and indeed very hyggeligt. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the amenities (good quality shampoo/conditioner, earplugs, etc.). The location is right at the top of Louise, so great for exploring both the neighborhood and central Brussels.

The walls are not well insulated, so you hear your neighbors. I was kept awake (despite the earplugs) until very late hearing my upstairs neighbor moving around, and could hear every slam of the door in the hallway loudly. Despite a nice bed, I was not able to sleep well in it. And, the WiFi is terrible. I had to take work calls for the morning I was there and had to use my hotspot. There’s no WiFi in the bathroom and half of the room (201) at all and the other side is very weak.
