Great location, easy check in and friendly check out. Requests sent prior to check in were honoured and the rooms were fully functional and clean. Great stay

Although this is being nit picky the space at the end of my bed in my room was tiny and being a larger lad I had to shuffle along the wall to get to the other side. However it did not effect my stay and for a room for 1 or 2 nights in Cardiff I certainly will be back! Do not let the size comments for the rooms on reviews effect your choice. If you want a clean room to rest your gesd a decent shower and friendly dace in the reception this is the place for you.

Location was great! Easy walk from train station and to the pedestrian centre of town. Comfortable beds and great shower.

There was a problem with the thermostat, the air conditioning shut off in the middle of the night, so we had to get up twice to reset it. The staff didn't know what the problem was caused by. It would be helpful to have a few hooks for hanging clothing. We had three people in the room and there were only four hangers in the very small nook. There wasn't a counter to place items on when staying for more than a day.

The members of staff I spoke to upon arrival and departure were friendly, and the room itself was of a good quality, with a comfy bed and big en-suite, completed with a high quality shower. The hotel is located a short walk from Cardiff Queen Street station, which makes travel convenient, and added to the positive stay I had.

Only minor issue was that the only bin in the room was a small one in the bathroom, which wasn’t big enough for the amount of rubbish I accumulated over my trip.

The hotel is very clean and modern. Rooms are on the smaller side, but they are very beautiful and beds are comfortable. The design of the room really gives impression of a much more expensive hotel. Personnel is very friendly and reception is available 24/7 for requests, like hairdryer for example. Overall great hotel for the price, it exceeded my expectations.

I would give this hotel a complete 10 rating if the parking was sorted better. They don't have a private parking next to the hotel but have agreement with a nearby garage that gives you a discount for hotel guests. It's not far away but if the weather is bad, even that 5/10 minutes walk with all the luggage is not that pleasant.

Check-in was easy with a cheery staff member. Comfy bed & pillows, minimalist but just what we needed for a place to stay after a concert. Staff saw how badly I needed a drink of water upon arriving back after the concert and pointed out their chilled filtered water dispenser next to the cold drinks vending machine, which I greatly appreciated. May sound silly, but I really did appreciate that gesture. ☺️

Hoped for slightly better water pressure, but I recognise that's more personal preference. Also would have appreciated a small shelf in the shower stall for my own toiletries I brought, as it's a bit tight to bend down to pick stuff up.

Very basic but value for the price we paid but rather far from city centre centre, but the bus stop was quite close to the city centre and running regularly into late the evening. Excellent shower was small and water ran off the door onto the floor when the door was opened which we had wipe up rather than getting our feet wet

No low light that could be left on in the bathroom,when we went to sleep so that we had low light to use the bathroom during the night . Not enough hangers for our clothes and no chair as room was so small

Very close to town. Bright and friendly. Staff are very welcoming and good fun. Very basic but clean and comfortable.

No kettle but free hot water in lobby where there is a drinks machine. Booked for £80 and had it verified in November, As did my daughter. Noticed a refund but no notification it had been cancelled. I had to chase up why...because the promoter could not verify!!!! (Waiting for price hike) Low and behold after the month of not advertising the rooms were available for £198. Nothing left in Cardiff so had to book them or get someone to pick us up from Exeter. Still cheaper than elsewhere, Shafted!

The hotel is clean and well maintain. Staffs were very accomodating and assist you in all your need. And the location of it is very near the city centre where all the shops, restaurants and the castle is located. It is also near the pick up point for tours if you opt to get one. Suited for backpackers who only needs a place to have their things kept and a place to sleep.

The room was fairly small for a 2 person. No table to put your things and not really enough space to move around.

These new EasyHotels are really nicely done, absolute basics but clean, modern and accessible - and I've stayed in a lot both in the UK and Europe. This Cardiff one is easy enough to find (about a 15-20 mins walk from the main station) and friendly reception, and no issues there at all.

I still find their rooms a little warm, and as sealed no 'real' air, so downing the temperature just a little (because you've got the ability to turn the heat up but not down) would be hugely welcome

One of the best hotels I have ever been, me and my husband have been coming to this hotel since last year and I wouldn’t want to try another as this is one of a kind! The staff are so lovely also have a coffee machine and vending machine downstairs to buys snacks. Water is for free. Rooms are not small but not big at the same size it’s the perfect size, beddings are always clean and fresh! Each room has a TV and a nice clean shower, a good size window, but cannot open, which is fine as each room has its own air conditioning which can be turn hot or cold xx also it literally takes you about 5mins walk and you are in town, right opposite you have a Starbucks which I love! And also right next to Starbucks you have a shop for snacks at night 😋xx
