Location perfect. Next to everything. The room was great, with a large window and balcony facing the plaza. The bathroom has a great large deep tub, after a long day of walks. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent, many choices and carefully chosen. Delicious. Service at the front desk was good, however two were exceptional in their service. One is Joeo (spl?) was extraordinary and help me with every detail. Even assisted me with finding my way to a soccer game and were to purchase the ticket. My 7 days visit to Lisbon, the history, the very nicely manner people, was wrapped up with my comfortable hotel stay. Memorable stay.

Had a very good experience in this hotel (and in Lisboa altogether:) ). The location is amazing right in the heart of city. It's easy to walk anywhere and there's so much to see just in the surroundings alone. Arriving from the airport is easy aswell. The room was comfortable and clean, no spots or anything to complain about. It was quiet and cool enough in the summer heat. Stylish too which I liked :). The breakfast was good, not a huge variety but everything was delicious and good enough for 4 mornings. The staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast area is quite small and it was full every morning around 8:30, but they opened up the balcony and people got to sit there too and enjoy the atmosphere. I really liked the experience and especially considering this only cost a tad bit over 100 euros per night during the busiest summer season (booked in April), with this kind of location aswell, the bank for buck is amazing.

Nothing, would recommend to everyone! :)

First of all, the location is excellent and means you save a lot of time and energy visiting Lisbon. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable though some issues with the bathroom and the air conditioning might struggle when it's really hot outside. The staff were nice and the young man at the desk gave lots of advice for visiting. Breakfast was fine, though the tea and coffee weren't fantastic they were ok. The only issue we had was the shower, it was either on full with pressure so fierce that it was like a Karcher, or just cold water. But we could fix the issue by using the bath taps to reduce the pressure, though wasted water. So I didn't speak to the hotel about this issue as I didn't have time.

The hotel was a perfect location for trams trains and buses. Everything we needed was in walking distance or close to transport. The staff were very friendly helping us with day trips and general information. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was large with amazing floor to ceiling windows. Also had black out curtains which was great at the end of a long day.

We paid extra for a room with a view into the square but unfortunately that's not what we got as the trees outside the room are extremely tall and have been photoshopped out of the hotel pictures. If you look carefully you can see this which is disappointing as we did pay extra. The rooms say the have a bidet but they don't (this wasn't an issue for us) The breakfast was mediocre but there are plenty of places around. Unfortunately the week we stayed there was something going on in the square and there was loud live music every night til midnight.

Super hotel! Clean ,excellent, helpful staff. room was large and clean ,with firm mattresses , a big bathroom and a nice balcony overlooking the square. Breakfast was outstanding and was includedin the price. Great lounge downstairs with really comfy chairs and neat antique furniiture throughout. Location was on Rossio square, geographic center of Lisbon and all the action. Many many resturants in easy walking distance. A short walk north to catch the Hop on Hop off buses - a must in visiting the castle etc.

Central location, with access to a metro station directly on the square the hotel is located on, and a big public transport hub on the next square to get to Belém or to LX factory, for example. Easy to get around the city from here, whether you want to walk or take the bus or the metro. It's an old building, with lots of old, well-kept furniture in the building and the rooms <3 The breakfast buffet is good, especially the juices and scrambled eggs. There's also a lot of different teas you can choose from. You get the same things every day, but we didn't mind. Plus, you get to eat in a really nice salon-like hall with windows and a small balcony overlooking the square, that can be used all day, so after breakfast as well. We didn't really have time to chill in the salon because we were out and about all day, but if you need a break in between, I would imagine it's quite nice. Our room was surprisingly big and had a balcony looking over the busy square. There was more than enough space for our stuff, and we loved the balcony and watching all the other tourists on the square. All in all, it's a great place to start discovering Lisboa after a good breakfast :)

Nothing really. We liked everything!

Location wise, it was the best. All the attractions are in walking distance. It was next to a paid underground parking, so you can arrive here by car and plan some day trips e.g. to Sintra. There's also Metro and Bus stops right next to the hotel in case you don't want to walk. Breakfast was awesome as well, with a view to the central plaza. Hotel staff were friendly and warm. Would definitely recommend.

Its a vintage hotel. So, the air conditioning didn't work and it may not be accessible for some as you need to climb one flight of stairs to get to the lift.

Amazing location and value for money. Right beside Rossio Square, 1 minute walk to Metro and shops, location could not be better.

The hotel was very old and the facilities were poor. Breakfast was limited. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is definitely not for you, but if you want a place to sleep and shower, this place is perfect.

Unbeatable location, good breakfast, nice staff

The rooms could use maintenance as both furniture and carpet are very worn out. We were given a room upon arrival in which the A/C and the minibar did not cool at all. We were told they were full when asked about a possible change and were told to wait a bit for the room to cool down as it was a hot day. At night it was evident both things were broken and after complaining, another room was given to us. After this experience, everything else was good at the hotel.

- Fantastic location overlooking Rossio square and minutes walk from nearest Metro. - Comfortable bed - Friendly, helpful staff

- To enjoy the central location (and get some sleep), bring earplugs as the square is really noisy well into the small hours. Having said that, with earplugs in and a comfy mattress, I slept well. - Some rooms have a tiny bathroom with shower. We asked to be moved from room 36 as there was the tiniest bathroom and no shower fixtures. - Coffee served at breakfast was not good
