What is there not to like!! This was one of the nicest and best stays we have had amongst our Europe trips. The cleanest of hotels, modern, in the heart of Lisbon, comfortable bed, nice bathrooms and great shower. Silence at night with soundproof windows. The view from our room captured the essence of the trip (see photos below). The staff were absolutely wonderful, they made you feel like family. A special and big thank you to Fillipe (Pippo) and Daniella at the front desk - you went above and beyond, kindest people with wonderful recommendations of sites and restaurants in Lisbon. Nicola Rossio Hotel is lucky to have such wonderful and caring staff. The cleaners were also wonderful and did an amazing job in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed either. Thank you for making our stay so fantastic. Highly recommend this Hotel - we wouldn’t book anywhere else!!

The “exit” light in the bedroom is a little bright at night but we just covered it with a tshirt. Unfortunately these cannot be dimmed or turned off due to safety reasons.

Location is in the center, very close to Elevador de Santa Justa, to Rua Augusta street, Praça do Comércio and other few attractions.

The entrance is in the back street, so the taxi cannot come till the hotel's door. Also lots ot homeless and beggars on that back street. One night there was karaoke or something in the nearby restaurant and the noise was too much.

The location was amazing, right in the square but wasnt noisy at all. Walking distance to just about everything you need to get to in Lisbon when you only have a short time. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was super accommodating at storing our luggae for the day as we toured the city. Their coffee and pasteis on checking in was such a nice touch as it was out first day and had been traveling all night.

Nothing I can say I didn't like. Maybe that you have to go around to get in? Not really direct street access....but this is VERY minor.

Location, staff, bed, sheets, a/c, cleanliness - all were fantastic. But the shower…. They have the best shower i have ever seen in any hotel, anywhere I’ve been. It’s even better than mine at home, and that’s a hard one to beat. Also excellent breakfast/pequeno almoço in the attached restaurant.

Our room was a bit cramped. Barely any space to put 2 suitcases - they stayed open on the floor, no room for one of those luggage racks. Other miscellaneous things and small bags went in a shelf over the counter with coffee machine, above a mini fridge. Since we only stayed 3 nights it was ok - and we are smallish people. Not sure all rooms are this tight, though, and I understand the restraints of an older building . All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Great 3 star hotel in the centre of Lisbon. Good location for exploring Lisbon, easy to get to and from the airport as you’re not far from the Rossio metro stop. Right next to Rossio station if you’re getting the train to Sintra for the day. Staff all sound as well, from the blonde lassie who booked us in to the fella that checked us out. Room is quite small but we knew this from checking the square metre-age in the description :) Just means there’s no where to put your clothes/suitcase. Room and bathroom were nice and clean with a quality shower and excellent air con.

I was lucky enough to stay at the hotel when they were celebrating their birthday and got a free room upgrade, overlooking the main square, what a nice first impression! :) The room itself was very spacious, tidy and cleaned well every day! Super convenient location to explore the city centre on foot, especially if you want to avoid climbing more hills on you way back to the hotel in the evening.

Not the hotel’s fault by any means but it’s a bit unfortunate that the side street with the entrance gets dirty by end of the day, there are also a few homeless people sheltering under an abandoned storefront close to it (although they never caused any trouble whatsoever)

Very good location, professional small hotel/boutique, clean, quiet, and staff was great (Maria in particular was a standout for us). We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage and come back with it back in the room. Very close to a couple groceries (including a very healthy food one), the metro and train as well as all the central attractions. Also a plus, it’s on flat land so you are able to really minimize uphills if you want. Room was nice and clean, upgraded slightly and had a great experience.

Only thing we weren’t crazy about was the door to the center through the breakfast area is closed in the morning so have to go through back alley. Understandable but you’ll see people sleeping on street corners which puts a slight damper on the atmosphere of the actual nicer hotel. Otherwise, highly recommend!!

This hotel is tucked away in a street just off Praça Dom Pedro IV/Rossio Square in Lisbon. It's surrounded by wonderful restaurants, shops, and cafes, right in the heart of the Baixa/Chiado neighborhoods. It's also just a couple minute's walk from the Rossio train station. The staff was professional and helpful. A little glass of port and a mini pastel de nata upon check-in was a nice touch. The room was compact, immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was my third trip to Lisbon, but first time staying here. Normally I travel with the family (of 5), so we rent an apartment, but if ever there again alone or with just my wife, I would certainly stay here again.

Nicola Rossio Hotel is a treasure. It has the best location in Lisbon near to lots of attractions and restaurants. Our room was tucked away in the attic with views of the square and the castle. Being in such a central location, it was hard to believe how quiet the room was. The style of the room was lovely and cosy. Staff were so helpful and friendly! The breakfast was of extremely high quality, very delicious.

The room was quite small, but this is a minor issue given the great location. The size of the rooms is also clearly advertised.
