Comfy beds, easy parking.

Not the best area.

As I sit here, enveloped in the cozy comfort of our room at RainTree Motel, I am compelled to share our overwhelmingly positive experience during our inaugural visit to Townsville. From the outset, Brian and Merelda, the charming proprietors, have extended a warm and genuine welcome, ensuring that every aspect of our stay is nothing short of exceptional. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is evident in every detail, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the attentiveness of the service. The accommodations are as inviting as they are immaculate, providing a haven of relaxation after our days of exploration. With amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and Foxtel, we have lacked for nothing during our stay. The plush beds and thoughtful inclusion of air conditioning and fans have ensured our comfort throughout. The allure of the bar and pool area remains irresistible, offering a refreshing retreat from the Townsville heat. The barbecue facilities have provided us with the opportunity to savor delicious meals in the company of fellow travelers, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community. Beyond the physical comforts, Brian and Merelda have been invaluable sources of local knowledge, offering insightful recommendations and helpful guidance to enhance our Townsville experience. Their willingness to assist with work-related tasks, including providing free printouts, has been a testament to their exceptional hospitality. As we continue our stay at RainTree Motel, we eagerly anticipate each new day of discovery in Townsville. With everything we need conveniently located nearby, from dining options to local attractions, we couldn't have asked for a more convenient base for our adventures. In summary, our first impressions of RainTree Motel have exceeded our highest expectations. Brian and Merelda's unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, coupled with the inviting accommodations and convenient amenities, have made our stay truly memorable.

The staff were amazing. From the friendly cleaners to the people at the front counter all staff were very helpful and always said hi when walking past. I would recommend based on the staff alone :)

The bed was quite uncomfortable and there is only one pillow per person provided :( hubby had to get a massage whilst staying because of the bed. There was an ant issue in the room but assuming that was normal As our friends next door also had the same.

Good value for money, the staff was very friendly, room was quite large and the bed was comfortable. There was a kettle, coffee/tea/milk, microwave, minibar etc in addition to crockery. AC worked well and there was also a ceiling fan.

It is old and needs some maintenance (dripping faucet for example) and there were no electrical outlets near the beds so had to charge my phone across the room. Nothing major though!

Location was great and easy access to and from motel , friendly receptionist very welcoming and polite ❤️

The room next door were noisy at a certain time of the night early hours of the morning but apart from that my family loved the stay there and look forward to staying there next time 😄

Clean, practical with fridge and microwave, reverse cycle AC, management were lovely.

Small double bed which was hard. The noisy girls volley ball team staying in rooms across from us that had no regard for normal sleeping hours. Saturday 6am party in the parking lot complete with boom box and constant bouncing of balls. Management did finally address the situation after complaints were lodged.

Large room. Comfortable bed. Tidied up daily. Opposite Rising Sun Hotel and short distance to Pizza shops. Manager friendly.

No PowerPoint at bed for my Cpap machine. Got an extension lead from the reception.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was huge and bed was very comfortable. Facilities were lovely amd clean Location was very easy to travel to and from, close to highway and no need to travel through city. I recommend!!!

Street noise, no fault of accommodation.

A very handy location with a good hotel across the road and a shopping complex and fuel stations very close. The room was clean and all amenities provided were great.

Location is perfect.

The shower in Rm 14. The hand held shower head would not fit in the holder, so we had to hold it, or hang it down while soaping up, then pick it up again to rinse off.
