A clean and spacious room in a convenient location. The hotel is on the edge of the old town, with plenty to see and lots of places to eat. We used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the Porto Santo ferry. It is a 5 minute walk from the airport bus and a 20 minute walk to the Porto Santo Line boarding location. We had to leave for the ferry before breakfast started, but they made up a couple of breakfast bags fo us to take with us.

Madeira is a place of amazing people! Service is top! This hotel is not an exception. Very clean, calm, well located. Staff is always very nice to everyone. Breakfasts are amazing, bed and pillows are comfortable. My expectations were much lower! Highly recommend!

I don't know what to say as I don't find any minuses...maybe only glass door of the bathroom which is not ok for the privacy :)

The hotel is in a very convenient location within walking distance of the seafront promenade and a shopping centre with a good supermarket. The staff were very courteous. On our last day we had an early flight so they packed us a take away breakfast.

The reception area was a little on the small side but this didn’t cause any issues for us. One minor issue was that there was only one bedside table next to our double bed.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. It was in a great location and the breakfast was lovely. The shower was amazing.

Room was quite small but perfectly functional. There weren’t any leisure spaces in the hotel but that couldn’t really be helped.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, the breakfast was delicious (especially the fresh fruit!) and the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The room/apartment was quite spacious as well and the location close to the old town was great. Even though we didn't cook, we appreciated having the kitchen to prepare tea and snacks.

The mattress on the bed was very firm, could have been a bit more comfortable

The most enjoyable in the hotel was the friendly staff. I never felt like "in a hotel", but more like "going home every night" to the people I like. On top of that, a clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast and great location in the center. Thanks to Artur and Leticia for making my stay memorable!

The wifi was weak in the room. And the windows were a little difficult/unintuitive to close (a closed window would turn off the A/C automatically). The safe in the room didn't work (dead battery).

Good location, almost in downtown Funchal. Several restaurants and shops nearby. Kind staff, willing to help. Quick response and follow-up on some defects which I reported. Good breakfast.

Several parts of the room show some wear and tear. Capacity of the air conditioning is not enough. The hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel, however some facilities can only be used in another hotel (for which the hotel is offering free shuttle service)

The location for breakfast was comfortable and the food provided was more than enough to set us up for the day. Leticia, in particular, provided a friendly, welcoming and chatty companion during our stay.

As is the case so often in hotel rooms, the bedside lighting could have been better. As we 'mature', better lighting is needed to read comfortably in bed. Also in our room (304) there was no shelf or bedside table on one side of the bed which was a little annoying.

Excellent customer service. All staff members were fantastic - we had an early morning flight and got our breakfast packed to take with us. Really loved our room - spacious, nicely decorated with little kitchenette and lots of space for clothes. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is perfectly located in the very close proximity to all attractions in the town.

The breakfast was nice and varied, the location was excellent and the staff were extremely nice and help- particularly Roberto

The bathroom was all glass so if you weren’t that comfortable with the person you were sharing with it might be a bit awkward!
