I liked the interior design, facilities in the room, environment friendliness, comfort & space. The breakfast was excellent. The entire hotel has great and warm vibe. It makes you feel at home. I loved the slippers. The staff at the reception were nice and very hospitable. Entire experience was amazing. If I ever return to Helsinki, this would be my first choice.

When I arrived, I had to ask for slippers at the Reception even though they were listed in the facilities when I checked the list when packing at home. Totally worth it as they were super cute. There was a leak in the bathroom and the floor around the toilet was wet most of the time.

I loved everything about this hotel from its very central location to the decor, design, facilities and one of the best breakfast offerings I have had travelling. All the staff are wonderfully engaging and helpful and the hotel manages to welcome guests from all age categories. The Central Station is just a short 6 minute walk away as is the Market and Helsinki Cathedral. Trams almost pass the door to all the Ferry terminals and the famous Fazer Cafe is opposite the hotel.

Whilst the rooms are a little compact they are super modern and fully equipped. I can't really find any fault with this hotel.

This is just a perfect place in the city of Helsinki. The rooms were very special - in a good way. There is everything you need: shopping bags, umbrella, very good hair dryer, steamer, spacious bathroom, everything is modern and cool. We arrived in the morning but there are luggage lockers. The hotel is perfectly situated, everything is in walking distance (churches, shops, train station, library and also the ferry port). The breakfast is very good, everything we like and needed. The people there are very nice and friendly. There is a bar next to the reception and you can also sit outside (pedestrian zone). The park (esplanadi) is just round the corner, sitting there in the evening, enjoying an ice cream, just relax. Helsinki is a perfect place to go by bike. Just download the HSL-App (or online: www.hsl.fi/en/citybikes/helsinki), take a bike and ride in and around the city.

They even provide slippers, a steamer, and hair conditioner, which not all hotels do.

I was fully aware I booked a small room and I personally didn't mind because I was alone. Since the foot of the bed nearly touches the wall, the Hobo Sleeper might not be very comfortable for more than one guest, though.

Amazing location just a short walk from the train station and right in the centre of shops and restaurants. Another short walk to the ferry to take the trip to suomenlinna fortress. We were a family of 5 and we stayed in the large room and there was plenty of room for us (ages 9,7 and 2). The staff were super friendly and more than happy to help. The breakfast was lovely. Just to note for Irish people and possible British people when they say breakfast finishes at 10 they mean they close the doors and you have to leave, it’s not that they stop serving at 10 and you can finish. That’s not a criticism just a difference between how things work.

The staff was nice. We arrived at Hotel in the morning which is not yet at our check in time. The staff helped us initiately to check whether our room was ready or not, And our room was checked that it was ready and luckily we could check in earlier. There was enough space for 2 suitcases. The design was modern and good. Bed was clean and comfortable. There ws very good breakfast as well. The live band performance was good with nice pizza there in the evening. We had to store our luggage after our checkout and we found that some locks of lockers were out of order. The staff helped us to fix the lockers and finally our luggage could store properly.

It's fine for almost everything. But just had 1 chair and hooks in toilet were not enough for 2 people.

The hotel is modern, new, in the heart of the city center. Anything you need can be reached by walking, e.g. the waterfront is within less than 15 mins of walking, train station within less than 10 mins. In the evenings, the streets around are rather lonely compared to the day rush. The breakfast was solid and diverse. In the evening, there are different events in the lobby, e.g. during my stay the was a live music event. The isolation is, however, at high level, I was not disturbed by any noise. I arrived too early in Helsinki and so my room was not ready, but I was fine with upgrading the room, and could check in straight away. The staff are mainly young people and they are friendly. The room was spacious, newly equipped, very clean, bed was comfortable. Besides hairdryer, the was also a steamer, which is much more useful than an iron, to my mind, it was a pleasant surprise. Since the rooms are in boho style, you have open shelves instead of a wardrobe, this is not a problem, however, unless you have lots of clothes with you. Particularly pleasant was having a bathtub. The windows can not be open, but the air conditioning system was working fine. There are lockers for the luggage in the basement. The photos matched to the real appearance of the room (with correction for upgrade). I was staying there for two nights for a short vacation over the weekend in the early March and I truly enjoyed it. I would come back and can recommend it.

Having a kettle in the room and a box of napkins would be great. The was no fridge but it is also not really needed, since the supermarkets are working every day (compared to Germany ;) )

Great vibes, warm hospitality, aesthetic, good room layout and extras like slippers, T-shirts, totes, to offer a cozy, relax, a bit funky, playful experience. everything sums up to build a great culture!

I stayed at the top floor and the one floor above was renovating during my stay. It caused noise and there are handymen walking in&out hotel area. In terms of the room, the only thing I can pick at is the shower- water came out from both shower heads no matter which one I choose. Water temperature was not stable. But that doesn’t cancel out the good things about this hotel. I’d still highly recommend it!

Location: Hotel is near down town, near the harbour to Suomellina and other destinations, near several main buildings, historical and traditional (cathedral and ortodox church, markets, bus stops to everywhere, commercial centers, tradicional and modern restaurants, Museums, Libraries (Academic by Alvar Aalto), a little bit far were important and impactfull buildings and constructions (Finlandia Hall by Alvar Aalto), Parliament, Stone church, Silence church, Sybellious statue, Olimpic Stadium, Terminal to Tallin-Estonia). Breakfast was good, diverse, clean, fresh, with quality; coffee was good and several degrees of strenght. Room was tinny, good for young people. We really enjoyed the concept of modernity, simplicity and practicalness in decoration. It was well equiped and had good amenities. We felt cuddled because we stood 2 nights, went to another city and have returned. When we arrived, the personal had left a gentle post card, personalized with some candies. It was really nice and sweet :-) Personal were very nice and polite, and helpfull eveytime we need an explication. We have dinner twice and the responsible for the snackbar was really sociable and tried to help us to solve a problem of communication with TiketMaster. Once we found 2 ladies artists staying at the hotel. In that night we have found who they were at the event, and they were really socialble and invited us to take some photos. They were presenter and singer, belonged to the Tour "Hans Zimmer and Others", they made voices on Zimmer's Moovies like King Lion, Dune, and Caribean Pirates.

So tinny rooms. Ther should be a bench to put the baggage opened.

We stayed at Hobo for two days. The staff was very friendly and communicative over messages when I needed a late check-in on the arrival day. The facilities, look & feel, and design were fantastic. The attention to detail was incredible, including the building, rooms, amenities, etc. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the train station so we could easily carry our bags without additional transportation. It is also located in the heart of the city, close to all tourist spots. We ended up getting breakfast at the hotel, it was delicious, and many options for vegetarians, vegans, and non-vegetarians alike. I would highly recommend this place for short and long-term stays.

Nothing big honestly.. If you have heavy or large bags and may have difficulty picking them, consider requesting an easy-access room, as we had to carry ours over a few steps.
