It is new, so everything was very fresh and clean. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but the menu looked good and some people I talked to in the morning said the food was good.

The listing says there is an airport shuttle. This is a bit misleading. The airport bus stops there regularly (that’s good), but it cost $8NZ. That was not what I expect when a property states they have a shuttle. Other reviewers commented that it was a convenient location. Yes, in that it doesn’t take long to get to the airport, but it is in a very remote area. No other conveniences, like restaurants, close by. So either eat before you arrive, eat in their restaurant, or go without.

The room is clean. There is an airport shuttle bus for just NZD 8, but make sure to check the timetable. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, and there’s nothing around. I ordered a soup and fried rice for dinner at the hotel. The soup was like water, and the fried rice didn’t taste any better. It is not a good value, so make sure to have your dinner or get takeaway before checking in to the hotel. Breakfast is also included, which is a bonus. However, it only offers instant coffee, and you have to pay extra for a proper coffee.

Clean/Comfortable room with new fixtures. The “Yellow” bus worked well, free from the airport to the hotel, by showing your Hotel reservation; $8.00 from the hotel to the airport.

Wonderful and attentive staff - and the bathroom was spotless with a really great shower. I enjoyed the option to order dinner as room service, as well.

I was annoyed at having to pay for the shuttle if I'm honest

Breakfast was great, good variety ,arrived too late for the dinner as we had a late book in. The food options would have satisfied us both. The price on the menu looked good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was close by and felt secure. Access to our first floor room was by elevator and the room was close by. There was no noise from the corridor and we didn’t hear any traffic noise . The room was compact with wardrobe and drawer.. Shower and toilet was clean . The guy on the front desk was cheerful and opened the Refreshments cabinet for us too. Location close to airport.

The cistern on the toilet kept running and needed attention. Whoever cleaned the toilets or the previous occupants should have reported this as the fix was a simple solution. The staff said they would sort it. There could have been a bit more milk.

The property is brand new and very close to the airport. The room has everything you need while traveling. The bed is comfortable and they have a free breakfast.

Little charges add up like the $10/hr for late checkout. Also the $8 per person shuttle charge was steep.

Amazing friendly efficient young staff. Beyond clean room. Exceptional help behind the main desk and eating area. Breakfast was not over the top but certainly enough to cater for all different tastes. And way less wastage that you see in self serve breakfasts in others accomodation. Toilets in the waiting area were immaculately clean. Very quiet area even though it has other businesses around it. Room was dark and very quiet even though we were on the road side of the building. But the staff in all areas were young professional and knew their jobs well. Our room was exceptionally clean and was not over the top. Enough of everything.

It was not that I did not like it, but something that could be made a little better. The out side area of the breakfast area was obviously a smoking area and it seemed a bit inappropriate to have it in this area. I don’t really know why I thought that but I did. Also the smaller blue couches in the waiting area look firm but when you sit on them you sink way down. This could be quite uncomfortable for older people to get up from.

Manha Hotel provided excellent accommodation. Large, modern and comfortable rooms and a good sized, modern bathroom. Free parking was a great bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room service was available which was very convenient. The included buffet breakfast was much appreciated. My only negative being the yoghurt in the buffet breakfast is put in large, open bowls with a spoon, to help yourself. My concern would be possible cross contamination if someone, perhaps a child potentially licked the spoon and returned it to the bowl. Individual yoghurt pots would be preferable. But overall, very happy with our Manha stay.

This hotel is ideal for a night or two before or after airport travel. The Yellow Bus system works well. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. Good tea and coffee selection and a small fridge. Great complimentary breakfast, both hot and cold choices. The staff especially reception, were helpful and friendly. Lovely and clean and smells fresh. Great modern decor. Would stay again if in Auckland.

The only thing that let it down, therefore an 8 score and not 10, was being woken by noises and music coming from the container depot at the back of the hotel. It happend twice during the night which is not good when you are trying to sleep before a long journey ( ours was going to be 27 hours!) Ask for a room near the front.

Located close to the airport, yet in an office / business district. It is quiet in the night. We arrived in the morning due to our flight time so appreciated the hotel staff checking us in as soon as a room became available. There are a few attractions not far from the hotel, so we did not drive into the city but spent our day nearby. A nice plus considering we never drove on the left side of the road before.

Nothing against the hotel, but for us who felt way too comfortable with American way of saying things and did not read the instruction - a lesson learned. The Yellow Bus is the "Hotel Bus" not the "Offsite Shuttle", one of the two confusing signages. It is right outside the terminal, Bus Stop D, for international arrivals. If you miss one, you might as well ride a Uber, which could be cheaper if you are a party of two or more people, and faster without quite a few bus stops along the way.
