The area is really nice, it is close to the centre and not to far from the train station. Getting into the apartment was easy, you get emailed the codes and passwords on the day. The staff responded to all my emails very quickly. To give the deposit you have to email your card details which I wasn't keen off, so me and my friends set up a monzo card to put the money onto. At the end of the day we got the deposit back 5 days afterwards and no other money was taken out the account. Everything about our stay in Liverpool was positive, would recommend this airbnb!!

The location was great. The rooms were spotless.

Minor details. I wanted a bigger towel. The pillows were all the same so I couldn’t choose a better one (two was too much). This really did bother me though: part of the handrail is difficult to hold on to. I have reduced mobility and struggled climbing the stairs with a suitcase in one hand without being able to pull myself up with the other. Find on most of the stairs, and I’m not sure what you could do about it, but it did affect my coming/going.

The flat was clean and spacious, and the kitchen had an oven, microwave, kettle, washing machine and stovetop. The location was good for Liverpool Uni.

The property requires a security deposit which is fine, but I would have preferred it be managed through Booking.com or another online platform. I was asked to email my credit card details which I was not comfortable with, and so had to go in person to another location to pay the deposit.

Lovely property and ideal location for city centre. Nice and quiet for a good nights sleep. And was very very clean.

I didn’t like that I had to chase the £200 deposit back, they apparently missed this on check out day. I chased this twice even though they told me they would get back to me they didn’t! No real apology. I explained that it’s not really good enough as £200 is a lot of money for most people and for it to take over three weeks to return to someone’s account is ridiculous and have to chase it twice!

The location was fabulous and it was clean and tidy.

The mattresses on the beds were way too soft (they met the base when sat on and you could feel the springs). We had to buy washing up liquid and toilet rolls (only one and half was left for 4 ladies) and we were only there for 3 nights, so had to buy a whole bottle of washing up liquid for just the 3 nights. There were no tea towels to dry the pots on and also no additional rubbish bag for the bin. Just those additional basics would have been great.

Wonderful location and close proximity to the University of Liverpool. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed for our short stay. We received two codes early on the day that we checked in. One for the property and one for our room. It had a small kitchen and living room. We didn't cook but it had everything in case that we decided to do it. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable.

We could not fault Clarence Street Town House. The apartment was absolutely perfect and everything was super new. We felt so comfortable within the apartment that by the end of the visit we were calling it home! Although the apartment is based on a main road, we slept well without any noise disturbance. The bathroom was especially impressive with a lovely brand new shower. The bed and sofa bed were so comfortable and the TV/wifi were brilliant. We accidentally left an amazon tablet in the property and I emailed the owner who quickly responded with finding the tablet and to organise postal delivery. We cannot wait to come back to Clarance Street again!!

Great location with a comfortable yet stylish apartment. Really comfortable bed. Great value for money. Nice and clean. Great facilities. Really friendly staff who are very quick to reply to messages. Had a great chat with one of the female employees who gave us lots of useful recommendations on where was good to go and what to do. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you!

Maybe some kitchen roll if I was being picky to help tidy after ourselves during our stay. Other than that it was great.

The apartment was great. Modern, comfortable and had everything you would need for a short or longer stay. Location was ideal, easy to find and would definitely stay again. Great food and drink options in the immediate vicinity too! The host emailed the access codes for the doors and these worked brilliantly. Nice easy system and no need to worry about loosing keys!

Apartment extremely clean beds a little uncomfortable stayed four nights not enough toilet paper...we had a group of around nine young boys banging doors from different apartments ...however after the first night they quietened down........location excellent codes for doors abit of a faff but got used to them relatively quick.. overall good stay
