Staff have always been very friendly. Very central with close proximity to many attractions. Across the road from Casino Car Park, making it handy for access. Off street Parking on site, which is secure at night, too, is an added bonus and access to rooms excellent as there is both an exterior elevator and stairs. Would return again and have used this accommodation frequently. Area is fairly quiet since the adjacent streets are both on one-way systems (Durham & Salisbury). Definitely highly recommended!

We had never stayed in the room we were booked in on our last visit and there was an unusual knocking sound late in the night that was slightly annoying. We reviewed this with the staff and they said it would be investigated. Other than the room dimensions being slightly smaller than other units we have stayed in (Note: this was NOT a Spa bath unit), it was still comfortable and the beds especially so.

Absolutely superb. Can't fault this place which had exceptional location, fabulous facilities and very comfortable beds. Enjoyed a pre meal glass on our balcony in the sunshine, met friends for a celebration dinner and stayed here in the city so we didn't have a long late drive home. Hugely recommended, will stay again.

Very friendly owner/lady on reception who showed us to our room. Spacious and comfortable room with everything we needed. Good night sleep. A great place to stay! Would highly recommend.

The only thing we can fault was the blind falling down in the bathroom when we tried to open the window, but we told the lady on reception when we checked out and she said thanks for letting her know so it could be fixed!

The host was so welcoming and great to chat with. He had some great recommendations for in and around Christchurch, as well as out on the road around South Island. Especially pointing us to an amazing Cheese shop and a bakery that had the most amazing pies on the way to Lake Tekapo. The accommodation itself was lovely, comfortable and warm

Had a 2 bedroom unit so 3 people fitted in well. Very clean and comfortable , good beds and pillows. Location suited us. As our train was delayed we were sent good information how to access after 8pm which was much appreciated.

As we stayed one night then away hiking for 2 nights then back again for another night we were charged for storing our bags.

- Within easy walking distance of central Christchurch shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and sightseeing. - Our room was clean and comfortable. - The motel is on a fairly busy road but rooms are quiet as they are angled away from the street. - Free, secure parking available.

- Our room was a little small but perfectly OK for a night or two.

Great location.

Light above bed lets in too much light despite having a blind. Bedroom needs to be much darker. Bedroom on the small side… very little room to put suitcase without it being in the way. Needs shelf in bathroom for toiletries and a sharper knife for the kitchen. A little on the expensive side.

Lovely clean, spacious room with parking right outside.

Although there were lots of restaurants nearby when we went out many were shut or practically empty and there were hardly any people around. Not sure if it was an off night but a lot less buzzy than other parts of Christchurch that we've stayed in.

There was a mix-up with our booking, which was no fault of the motels or ours, but they were so great about fixing things. They bent over backward to make things right and will stay there again next time we are in christchurch. They are wonderful, friendly hosts, just amazing people. Thank you for making our stay great. 😊

The host was very friendly and upgraded our room for us without asking. She even allowed for an early check in. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The location was great- walking distance to the center of town and sights. We would recommend staying here!
