Review provided to me by my mother -> I booked the trip for her. A beautiful room with a magnificent view of the river. Breakfast was fantastic, good value for money (for a pensioner travelling from New Zealand). The staff were absolutely amazing, and made every possible effort to make our stay amazing. My daughter booked the hotel for us, and also ordered champagne and a platter for when we arrived, and it was incredible. Thank you so much for making what will probably be my last international trip, at age 84, one of the best experiences of my life, and looking after myself and my friend of 65 years, who I hadn't seen for 20 years, feel so comfortable and special.

We stay here a lot when we visit Liverpool this is our go to hotel as it’s in a great location, just a stone throw from the docs and Liverpool one. Our January stay 2025 we visited the onsite gym and can honestly say amazing, it has everything you need and also fresh towels a fruit on hand with a water machine, and not to forget the magnetic charging doc. We have stayed in all types of rooms the Pullman provides and each one are unique and amazing. Great views all round and just love this hotel Staff are amazing and nothing is too much, they will help and provide for any of you requirements or needs AMAZING. Very clean and modern look throughout the hotel and also discount parking when staying 👍🏻 Thank you for another amazing stay Looking forward to next trip.

We have stayed at the Pullman several times before, and it is a great location for any work events around the Dock. I also like the proximity to the big car park. The breakfast is always very nice with a good selection of food.

When we came to check out there was a restaurant meal on our bill which we had not had. The staff were adamant that it had to be signed for at the time of ordering along with taking a room number, they even went to get a copy of the bill with the signature which was not mine! We had eaten at restaurants in the Albert Dock on both evenings which i had receipts for. I felt quite awkward and that they did not really believe me. They did eventually take it off the bill, but the whole exchange was quite uncomfortable. Perhaps the method of signing and ordering food in the restaurant need reviewing?

Breakfast had a lovely large selection of cold and hot, freshly cooked items, rather than hot buffet food being sat there for a long time, drying out, as often experienced at other hotels' buffet breakfasts. The superior river view room has an amazing and memorable view of the Mersey and Liver buildings. The customer service was efficient, friendly and professional with all bathroom and bedroom facilities providing for a very comfortable stay. I will definitely book and ask for the same room again and recommend the Pullman wanting to spend a memorable stay in Liverpool!

On the second day. I think that the breakfast chef was under pressure and hence we didn't get to choose from the full selection of hot food. There was no bacon, scrambled or fried eggs available, even though we waited in a queue for these for quite some time. However, we understood that these things happen, perhaps a member of staff was sick. This resulted in us resigning ourselves to having a much smaller breakfast - mainly of cold items. This still wouldn't deter us from visiting the Pullman again, as everything else was lovely. Just a minor hitch!

Hotel room fixtures in the bathroom starting to feel a bit tired. Loose toilet seat, shave mirror, sealant around the shower going black in places. We paid to have a complimentary mini bar which was ok, it has beer, wine, water and tonic but no gin. In fact no spirit whatsoever. For what’s in the mini bar, it isn’t worth the upgrade. Lastly, the air con was a bit hit and miss. It never really chilled the room, so the ambient temperature is ok the warm side. Didn’t bother us that much to be honest.

Hotel staff were lovely and very welcoming. Beautiful room overlooking the Mersey and the Liverpool wheel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a 10-15 mins walk from the city center and a 5 min walk to the Albert docks area so it is a nice safe walk. Breakfast was excellent—great choice of buffet breakfast both hot and cold.

Only negative point we had was that after a tiring day, we went to the hotel to rest around 15:45 and the room was not cleaned or made up. I met the housekeeper in the corridor and just changed towels and told her to give the room a miss that day.

Best thing is the location, very quiet, away from crowd but still close to the city centre. Surrounded by fresh air and sea wind . Second best is the hotel made the effort to satisfy its customer - despite it's been a very busy weekend with lots of clients booked into the hotel, the staff still fulfilled my request with no hassle. Thirdly, the cleaning lady was very helpful - when I asked for one more set of bathrobe and slippers, she immediately went to get one with a friendly attitude. Thank you!

It will be better for each room to have more milk pots/milk sachets to match the tea bags and coffee sticks, as we run out of milk faster than tea/coffee.

The room was very nice. Good lighting, facilities and nice bed. Location was a bit away from the city centre but did not mind. Breakfast was excellent with ample choices and great service. Credit goes to the staffs to execute it. The bar & restaurant area. we liked the cabin seating by the front of the reception. Great choice for the early check out guests for more rest and peace after the shopping and before your onward journey. All the staffs were great and service with smiles on their faces.

the pillows were bit hard. But, Cameron at the reception told me that next time you can request at the reception for additional soft pillow.

Staff was very friendly, super helpful, polite and greet you with the smile since you step in to the hotel. Facilities were tidy, shower was exceptionally clean. Our room had a beautiful view of Albert dock which made mine and my sisters visit even more special. Gym wasn't big but jus enough, had all equipment you need, free weights, benches and some cardio equipment. Location is great, Liverpool one is just a short walk from a hotel, not far from bus/train stations, we came early so reception was kind enough to hold our luggage until check in time so we could go and explore. If you travel by car, they also offer a discounted parking at nearby car park.

The staff were very kind and helpful, the place was clean and stylish. I really liked my room - never had a window seat before, lovely walk-in shower, easy to use, good a/c and heat from the thermostat. Lots of good food options and I will also say that I had one of the best fish & chips I ever had. All the food was good, but those fish & chips! The people in the kitchen should be commended.

I would say the lift was a bit temperamental - you scan your room card in there and select the floor you want, but it didn't always work. Who knows, maybe I was doing something wrong?!
