5/5 – Highly Recommend! Everything about our stay at this hotel was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation. The beds were super comfy with a soft and more firm pillow on the bed ensuring a great night’s sleep, although we didn't like the donna between two sheets as the donna easily came out of the sheets during the night & I'm sure the donna wouldn't be washed between guests making it very unhygienic. The shower had excellent hot water pressure – such a bonus after a long day out skiing. Room were on the smaller size but we had enough room to open our large suitcase, would have been nice to have a chair in the room. Rooms were spotlessly clean Rooms are soundproof except for you can hear people in the corridors. The location is ideal – just a scenic 10-minute walk into town. There’s a great restaurant downstairs with we especially loved the woodfire pizzas. Customer service was top-notch – all the receptionist were incredibly helpful and friendly. Super convenient access to the Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski bus, with a stop right outside the hotel. If you can, go for a lake view room – the views are absolutely stunning! An all-round fantastic experience!

It could definitely be clearer. It was also frustrating that the room was cleaned in the afternoon as most people (including us) do activities in the morning and use the afternoon to get ready for dinner / to relax. This meant that out of the 3 afternoons, 2 of them we had to ask just for a replace of the linen because we were using our room at the time and the 3rd afternoon, we had to sit down at the reception waiting while they finished cleaning the room so we could use it. The staff were lovely, however, definitely didn’t go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

This Ramada exceeded expectations. The hotel is clean, modern, well-located, and reasonably priced, particularly in comparison to other options in the area (we moved here after one night at another place that turned out to be more of a budget motel priced not much cheaper than the Ramada). Everything is uphill in QT but the hill the Ramada is on isn't as bad as some others. The in-room washer/dryer was a huge bonus. The bathroom had a towel warmer that actually had room for hanging two towels (sooo many hotels in NZ only had spots to only hang one). We were very pleased with our stay here and would absolutely recommend it.

The view from the room was excellent, and I can only imagine that the higher up floors (I was one the 1st, I think) are even better in that sense. The rooms are very nice, with comfortable beds, and a decent shower. There is a restaurant in the hotel, with good food, and the walk into the town centre is only around 5-10 minutes, although please note that when you're on the way back, unless you're coming around via the ice rink, is an uphill walk at quite the angle.

Marked it down slightly as, like many other hotels, the shower was dirty with the previous occupants' hair and clearly hadn't been cleared properly. Also, the parking is underground, and whilst it's secure, it's also a bit tight. It should also be said that there is plenty of street parking around, and the area seemed safe enough to do that.

Hotel itself was good and well located but if you struggle with hills you might look at the other side of Queenstown close to the lake which is much flatter. For us it wasn’t an issue. Room was comfortable and clean car parking at $45 was more expensive than other hotels in NZ’s larger cities. Had a great pizza the first night which was a very pleasant surprise , went back a few nights later we decided to leave after quite a bit of waiting. , no staff came near us and seemed happier checking their phones and chatting to each other

My husband and I travel to Queenstown a lot. This was our first time at the Ramada. We usually stay at the Novotel. However, we thought the fee for the Novotel this time was a rip off. It was $400 more than the Ramada, which determined our decision to change hotels. We were really impressed and would definitely stay here again. The rooms are very clean and modern. Everything felt very clean and new. The linen was superb. The room was lovely and warm. Brilliant shower. The staff were lovely. The location is fantastic. It is a short walk to the town centre. We always hire a car when we are in Qtown and we found there was plenty of parking outside the hotel on the street for free, without the need to pay $25 per night for hotel parking.

The room was quite small, without a chair or a desk, which I usually like. But this wouldn't make or break my decision to stay again.

The Hotel is located on a hill with views to the Remarkables. The Restaurant provides good quality food, if a little limited in choice. Staff very friendly. Great Pizza Oven at the front with a very quiet deck area to eat at. Car parking in the basement is great, and value for money, as the street parking can be full.

I would have liked a chair to sit at in the bedroom. A low stool with equally low 'table' was provided. Unusable for a 6' man of advancing years.

Room size and view from the room was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable with housekeeping making up the room daily. Location was great. I liked being in a quiet part of town which was near enough ( 10 min walk) away from the main tourist area.

Breakfast was a bit expensive. I understand its not common practice to provide bottled water in NZ. but for a four star hotel i would least expect room slippers on request and things like Q-tips and cotton pads. No mention was made of a water dispenser on the premises.

We LOVED our stay at Ramada by Wyndham Queenstown Central. The hotel was modern, very up-to-date, clean, quiet, bed was so comfortable and the staff were wonderful! Having a kitchenette in our room was great for fixing breakfast and light meals and the washer/dryer in our room was wonderful. We also loved the location. It was a 5-7 minute walk to the City-Center or the Queenstown Gardens. The Coco Cabana Restaurant, located outside the hotel lobby, was very convenient. The fire-brick pizza was wonderful! The big plus was the Orbis City bus stop right across the street from the lobby. We purchased a "Bee" Card for $5 (can get them at the airport or the ICenter in City Center) and prepaid trips (1 card for both my husband and I) on the card. Each trip was $2 for both of us…We enjoyed riding around the city, going to Arrowtown (included on the city bus) and going to the airport (wish we had know about this on our airport arrival). Definitely worth it! Thank you, Ramada, for a Wonderful visit to Queenstown!

Nothing we didn't like!

Great location and excellent views from our Lake View room! Comfortable beds and lovely ‘memory’ pillows. We have stayed in Queenstown a few times in as many years, and this is our first visit to the Ramada - we will definitely consider staying again.

Unfortunately, the second bedroom was not set up for our two children, with two single beds. We also did not have towels for two of our four guests. When we enquired with Reception, we were provided a single sheet to dismantle the double bed into two, and to re-make the bedding ourselves. We were also provided sufficient towels with a smile.
