Good location, nice comfortable and warm room with great view of the lake and surrounding mountains out the front. Bonus was it was on ground floor and we had no stairs to carry suitcases up. Even so, the road noise at night was not noticeable. The lady in reception was very friendly and helpful. The motel is on a high point of Queenstown, so it is steeply downhill into the city centre and the dining options and other attractions, so obviously it is a steep climb back, but we are both in our 70's and found it quite manageable. If you are carrying a reasonable amount of things, then a back pack each, or an uber might be the way to go.

Queenstown accommodation is quite expensive, especially during the peak season. This is the third time we have been to Queenstown. Previous times, we have stayed at other hotels. The hotel is walking distance to the centre of the city. The studio apartment we stayed had all facilities including pans, pots and plates for cooking. Looking through the window, we had magnificent view of the Wakatipu Lake and the snow capped mountains. Compared to the other hotels, Alexis is value for money. From now on will stay only in Alexis, if we come to Queenstown.

This was a lovely stay in Queenstown. The accommodation was around 10 mins downhill into the centre of town and two fantastic breakfast restaurants which are Odd Saint and Yonder. The views from outside the apartment were great and the access to laundry facilities were very handy. You can walk to Queenstown Hill and Bob's Peak straight from the apartment. The apartment itself was cosy and quiet at night and we had some very good nights sleep here. We would definitely choose this accommodation again when we next visit Queenstown.

Amazing views. The bed was very comfy. We appreciated the milk provided and basics like tea bags, shampoo etc. An easy walk to Queenstown, a bit hilly but we are a young couple so this wasn't an issue. If you're not good with hills you can park at the accommodation and drive. Staff were nice, I struggled to get the tumble dryer on and was helped straight away.

The noise was our main issue. Right outside the rooms are tables so as there were big groups at the accommodation they were all crowded outside our room. It wasn't late so we couldn't complain it was more just annoying. There was also a party until late on our last night but that was across the road at someone's house so nothing that the hotel could do, but wasn't great for us the night before a flight. I think it may just be a party area which is something to be aware of before booking.

Large, spacious apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay. We were there for 4 nights. The small kitchenette was perfect for breakfasts and light lunches. The bed was very comfortable and there was a lot of storage space for clothes. They have a coin-operated washer and dryer in the garage. Free covered parking! Great location too within a 10 to 15 minute walk of the center by the lakeshore and with great views of Lake Wakapitu. Also, 20 minutes walk to Queenstown Hill if you want to go for a hike. Keep in mind that Queenstown is hilly so, wherever you go you have to do some climbing.

The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit.

Queenstown has chilly weather almost all the time. However, our Alexis Motel room had an excellent heating system. Besides, they have washing and drying machines that really helped since we were in the middle of our trip. And the use was cheaper than in the laundromats of the town! The apartment had large divisions, and the bathroom had a good exhaustion system. You can easily walk to downtown Queenstown. There are lots of electric outlets and even USB connections to directly charge cell phones. There are actually a few close places where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The shower jet could be better and with more push, although the temperature was easy to control. The bathroom had no hygienic dush. Our apartment was only accessible through stairs, which made luggage transportation a bit difficult. Although the living room is large, the number of furniture pieces crowded the space. I know that New Zealand is a safe country, and nothing really happens in Queenstown, but the room seems a bit exposed.

The location is very convenient. It takes just 15 minutes to reach the town center on foot or 3 minutes by bus, with the bus stop right around the corner. The pick-up point for the coach tour to Milford Sound is also conveniently located nearby. The view from the motel is fantastic, as Lake Wakatipu can be seen directly from the window. The host was very kind and provided clear instructions when guiding us to our room. Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a restful time here. Highly recommended

This motel is of a high standard and in walking distance of central Queenstown - it is also on the exit road so easy to access and to leave from. You can park you car in a covered garage and leave it while you walk around Queenstown. Very friendly staff - focussed on customer service. Good onsite Laundry. Good Wi-Fi. Very comfortable beds and room - spacious and well equipped. Spa bath/large shower. Easy access to restaurants as well as outdoor patios or in room tables for self catering..

Nothing really - suggest do not disturb sign to stop daily servicing and being more clear to other guest to park properly so all spaces can be used.

The apartment we had was clean, spacious and had a self contained kitchenette that was very useful for simple meal preparation. The location to Queenstown CBD was exceptional. We were able to walk into town easily and a bus stop was also easily accessible.

Small thing, and only a thing because other places we stayed at included it, but TV options ( eg Netflix) , you needed to use your own account. Having said that, we were so busy, that it was only when we were having some down time, that this would have been nice to have included.

The view from our room is amazingly beautiful. There is a daily housekeeping services included. You wake up and have a nice hot coffee or chocolate outside your room is a perfect relaxation moment for me. The location of the place is perfect. Less than 5mins driving or 15mins walking to the town centre of Queenstown and to the airport. The location is very accessible.

The only thing my partner and I didn't like was during our stay at the place, there were roadworks right in front of it. Other than that, the location, room and view is beautiful. When it is full the car park is a bit small.
