Staff were incredibly attentive, polite and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was not your usual hotel room as it was exceptionally large and a bed to match. Comfortable night sleep.

The noise! Where our room (in the basement) was located we were just below road level so you had the noise of traffic and people outside the window, we also the staff entrance next to our room so there were constant noise of staff arriving, leaving and chatting. I appreciate these things cannot be helped, but given the price of stay at the hotel it would have been good to know beforehand. However, the purchase of ear plugs and being exhausted from days of exploring the beautiful city; it didn't continue to be a problem after the first night.

The property is stunning, comfortable, has a great location for getting around town and the breakfast was delicious. We were blown away by the beauty of this palatial home, which felt full of history and was so beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed and loved all the luxurious touches that made us feel like guests in a royal home. Everywhere there were beautiful sitting areas, art, antiques, soaring ceilings and beautiful architecture. Our room was comfortable, quiet and service was top notch. We would stay here again for certain.

From the moment you step into the piazza, you are welcomed as if family...in fact, staying in this beautiful place is like staying with a rich relative! It is gorgeous, intimate and lavish plus the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Nothing! It was a perfect location, close to everything from the "major sites" to the lovely riverfront. Plus it sits on a quiet street (more like an alley) so noise was never an issue in this bustling tourist spot.

I recently stayed at Al Palazzo del Marchese di Camugliano Residenza d'Epoca, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The customer service was exceptional—staff members were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The location was perfect, just a short walk from all the major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!

One issue was the difficulty in handling my suitcase due to the numerous stairs throughout the property. While the staff was helpful and friendly, the lack of an elevator made the experience challenging. If you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, I recommend considering this factor before booking.

I’m absolutely in love with this stunning 16th-century palazzo and its authentic interiors – staying here felt like traveling back in time. The atmosphere is truly magical, with every detail carefully preserved to offer an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was exceptional, served on beautiful plates that added a touch of elegance to the meal. I particularly loved the selection of cheeses and cold cuts – they were absolutely delightful. The open bar available throughout the day, offering drinks, croissants and fresh fruits, was a thoughtful and much-appreciated bonus. This hotel is a rare treasure, and I can’t recommend it enough for those looking to immerse themselves in history while enjoying modern comforts.

the full breakfast was amazing, you can order off a menu with eggs, pancakes, cheese plate, etc. You can also get pastries, juice and coffees all day in the communal area so that saved us quite a bit of money. Great location, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Only thing to mention, you can't drive inside the town of Florence, there is a parking lot a few doors down which worked find and the hotel did send staff to help with luggage but since it's the only parking lot working with a lot of hotels, make sure you let them know early that you need your car, it can take them over an hour during the busy checkout time. Again, this is not a ding on the hotel at all as it's not their parking lot, they just work with them. The restaurant right across the street was amazing and it's a quick walk to the Duomo, Gucci Museum and lots of great shopping.

The location is incredibly well situated within easy walking distance of everything we needed to see in Florence. From the minute we arrived at the property, we knew we were in good hands. Luggage was whisked up to our room and one of the lovely ladies gave us a tour or the historic property. The room was magnificent and very quiet as the walls are so thick. We learned that there are only 13 rooms and each one is different - ours was not a suite but was still lovely. Breakfast is served until 11AM which was perfect for us as we stayed out late each night. I can’t say enough about the staff other than that they were EXCEPTIONAL. We travel around the world and have seldom found such a kind, considerate and hospitable staff.

I can’t think of a single thing we would have needed or could have been done differently.

Palazzo del Marchese di Camugliano is an exceptional place that exceeded all our expectations. The location is very central, il Palazzo offers many elegant spaces that combine the style beauty and elegance of its antique decor with the comfort of modernity. The garden is an unexpected gem. The breakfast is fabulous, and our room the studio was elegant,comfortable and made our stay very special. The kitchen in the cupboard just what we needed for our long stay. And last but not least the staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. We shall certainly return and we highly recommend it.

Nothing, it was just perfect

Only a little quibble- the hot water was sadly not. Even after running it for 30 minutes. You would expect for the price that the water would be positively steaming - spoilt the deep bath experience somewhat. The description of the Suite made you think that along with your Bedroom, you had your very own private lounge area (not the communal ones). (A suite -description - a set of rooms ( plural) designated for one person's or family's use or for a particular purpose.) On reflection, you got more for your money if you had hired just a suite room. On this fact, I believe that i was mislead by the website and therefore would seek a guesture in some form of compensation. THE STAFF HOWEVER WERE 1ST CLASS AND ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. A credit to the hotel. :-)

A relaxing stay in a residence full of history, stunning architecture, and unique décor, ideally located in the heart of Florence. Impeccable cleanliness, great comfort, and warm hospitality were delivered with the utmost professionalism. We truly appreciated the care and attention provided by the staff. The high-quality breakfast, enjoyed to the natural sounds of the magnificent hanging garden, was a perfect start to each day. Grazie a tutti per tutto!
