Our go-to whenever we visit The Falls. The location is very close to Clifton Hill and all the excitement of Niagara Falls. We always go with the deluxe hot tub room, because the tubs are larger, so you can fit two people comfortably. Rooms were clean, however if there is an issue with bedding or towels, a quick call to the front desk will have fresh, clean replacements to your door in minutes

My only gripe is the price you pay for parking. It was $15 for years, and when we went back in May of this year, they bumped it up to $20. Not feeling that too much.

We are a returning family who always books with this location Howard Johnson and we always stay 4 to 6 days during our stay with you. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and will always do their best to ensure you’re happy during your stay. RAJ the night manager is awesome. The pool area is great and the outdoor pool connect is nice and the water is warm. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are a decent size, beds are comfortable. And the AC works wonders. My grandson as always loves the Baskin Robins connected to the hotel lobby. The view is great and everything including Clifton hill and all attractions is right across the road and a 5 minute walk to the falls. I always recommend this hotel it doesn’t disappoint. My only complaint this trip was the pillows in our room were quite hard. But I’m just very pillow picky

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Was the first time we visit Niagara with kids and it was a good decision. The room very clean and spacious. The bathroom very comfortable. Enough space for luggage and stroller. Easy access to the parking lot, to the rooms, to the swimming pool. The swimming pool area was excellent for kids. The pool was clean and big. Enough chairs to leave your towel and stuff. The hotel is in an avenue with lots of restaurants and stores that closed late at night. Walking distance from everything. It is not renovated but everything is functional, clean and classic.

I also wrote this on google reviews... This wasn't our first time staying at this hotel, and it won't be the last. It's conveniently located near Clifton Hill, but far enough away that it's quiet. The rooms are basic, there's nothing fancy about them. But our room was clean, comfortable and perfect amount of space. The room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, which is perfect for saving a little money. The room did get a little warm at times, but the AC Unit worked quickly (and quietly) to fix that. Beds were okay (I personally like something a little softer) and lots of pillows for added comfort. If you like to unpack, the room did have drawers to put your things and closet space. Hotel provided toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion), which is great when you forget your own. For our previous stay, we were in a family room...loved the setup of having a "bedroom" set away from where the kids were sleeping without having to get a second room. I usually don't visit the fitness room, but this trip I did. It's nothing crazy, but you can still get a decent workout in away from home. I got a basic workout in when I needed to blow off a little steam. Parking is a little pricey, but that's pretty much anywhere in Niagara. There's a fair amount of parking, but keep in mind you're competing with Denny's sometimes. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel, including just inside the hotel lobby. Depending on your budget/needs, there's pretty much something for everyone. I always bring food with me when traveling, and there are a few grocery stores in a short driving distance. LCBO is just down the street as well if that tickles your fancy. When I say the hotel is conveniently located, I'm not kidding. The staff at this hotel are wonderful. Two years ago, when I stayed here, I could say the same thing. They are friendly, helpful, and efficient.

The price of parking, but it's still worth it based on location

The pool was great the hot tub and sauna were extremely fabulous. Felt like a spa vacation.

I would have liked some type of breakfast options included in the price, a lot of competition is doing it.

This is becoming our favourite hotel. The location is fantastic. The staff is always good and the beds are comfy. We grabbed a "couple's suite" and it was quite lovely. We really enjoy this hotel and the pool is adorable.

I had brought my own cleaner for the jet tub and I'm glad I did. The shelf like headboard was quite icky. It had garbage and hair and icky. I managed to clean it and was quite happy afterward. I do think the cleaning could have been bit better. And I do wish the pool was open later then 10 pm as when you go you do tend to stay up later.

Right at the end of the Clifton Strip, I could walk Everywhere, including to the Falls and the Rainbow Bridge to cross into NY to the National Park and see the Falls UP CLOSE. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, especially the mgr.

Parking garage dripped a white substance from the ceiling all over my BLACK CAR. I didn't drive anywhere for several days, and this stuff has apparently ate into my paint !!!! I told the staff and they seemed to be Aware this happens. I washed & scrubbed my car and it has left marks...... going to try rubbing compound now. The hotel needs to address this one.

Location was great! Room was clean and comfortable Worked perfect for our 1 night stay. Arrived at 11 am and was able to check in and pay for parking so we could keep car there and go do some stuff on Clifton Hill and come back later to get our room keys. We're told our room would be ready by 2:30 (instead of waiting till 4!) went back to hotel around 3 and got keys for room so we were able to have a nice time going for a swim then getting ready for dinner and our night. Was very happy with our stay and staff was super nice

Only thing that wasn't good was calling and asking for another towel (as there were 4 of us and only 3 towels) and never getting it. Not a big deal as I just used my 6 year olds after I quickly showered her. Not something I would mark as a huge negative just an inconvenience.

The room was a nice size with a big bathroom. The pool was very clean. Very safe feeling with kids.

1. I didn’t like finding out after booking that parking is an additional daily fee. 2. The laundry machines in the hotel were coin only (Canadian 3 quarters and 2 1-dollar coins.) 1 dollar coins are hard to get in change and the hotel doesn’t have a coin machine - laundry should be upgraded to accept cards. 3. At checkout I asked if we could have an extra hour of parking in order to get something to eat and was told 11:00, no extending and they will tow. That seemed frivolous seeing as the next guests cannot check in until 4pm. I’d have been happy to pay another $20 fee for the extension. Instead we went to a public lot and gave them the $20.

Location was close to everything (Clifton Hills), restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the falls. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly and treated us very well during our 6 day stay here. housekeeping was great, pool area and hot tub was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was quiet. baskin robins attached to the hotel was a bonus as that is my grandsons favourite so he was overjoyed. The beds were awesome and we all slept great. The overall review of the hotel I’m giving a 10. We will be back in June for another 6 day stay: thank you Howard Johnson for your hospitality.
