The hotel was lovely and a great location. Staff were very nice.
The mattress was to hard so didn't sleep very well. Radiator in bathroom was thick with dust.

The minute you arrive at the Miramar Hotel, there is a feeling of warmth, welcoming you in! Relaxing and friendly staff further confirm and strengthen how it feels. David was brilliant! The room was spotlessly clean with everything you could want in its place. The bed was so, so comfortable that a good night's sleep was assured. Every member of staff is genuinely warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, and that made you feel special and at home. The restaurant is lovely, carefully thought out placing of the tables, with beautiful views across Bournemouth bay. The food was excellent and the service perfect. All the public areas were relaxing, nothing out of place and inviting. Then we discovered the terrace and garden which is a delight! The Mirimar has somehow retained the high standard for which Bournemouth was renowned for. In this ever changing world it is wonderful to discover a gem on your doorstep. The Miramar is most certainly that gem! Our thanks to every member of staff for making our stay perfect. We are looking forward to returning very soon. Very best wishes, Phil and Zoe.
There was nothing we did not like!

The hotel is very well-located with a south-facing terrace where we enjoyed drinks and snacks in the late afternoon sunshine. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable with a supportive mattress. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first night of our stay - the starters and mains were very nice. The cooked breakfast was also good, with sensible (i.e. not excessive) portions.
Charging guests to park in the hotel's car park feels like a bit of a rip-off. The bathroom only had one hook even though we were asked to re-use our towels for environmental reasons. My wife's pudding in the hotel restaurant was described as peach panna cotta, but seemed to consist of whipped cream from a tube and one tinned peach - very disappointing considering the rest of the meal was perfectly nice.

very good
staff very good The hotel service was excellent. On the night we stayed, there was actually a party downstairs with loud music. However, I reported the situation to the staff, and they handled it very quickly with a great attitude. After returning to our room, they even called to inform us that they had asked for the music volume to be lowered. The next morning, they provided our entire family with complimentary breakfast, apologized again for the previous night’s incident, and even gave us a discount on our room rate. I highly recommend this hotel—my kids loved it, and I will definitely stay here again!

Just loved everything, from being greeted by a very lovely receptionist to be told the hotel had also upgraded us. I was so emotional when I saw the room it was absolutely gorgeous, the weekend trip was a special weekend for myself and my partner, it was our Christmas weekend and it truly was perfect, the helpful staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, it was just all perfect. We didn’t get to try the food in the hotel due to we were out all the time but next time we book will definitely be longer. We were made to feel so welcome and also hotel was so nicely decorated for Christmas. We will be back
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property

From the first hello from David I knew I was going enjoy my stay. Very welcoming greeting, up to a lovely large and clean family room with air conditioning. Large car park, great location for town and beach. Fantastic cooked breakfast. All in all very hard to fault, except for a couple of small things.
So we were there on the hottest day and night of the year and the air conditioner was fantastic for keeping the room cool, but trying to sleep with it on it was just a little too noisy, not great when it’s bang in the middle of the room. The biggest, but small, thing that let down breakfast was the orange juice, everything else about breakfast was quality, the ingredients in the cooked breakfast, perfectly cooked, the high end condiments for the toast and pastries, but then why serve the cheapest and nastiest orange juice, I’m not expecting freshly squeezed but with the quality of the other items at least some Tropicana.

It’s a beautiful location. The staff were incredible. One lady in particular that I wish I’d got her name. She checked us in 02/05/25 and checked us out on the 4th. She also dealt very kindly and professionally with all of questions and queries! She definitely made the stay that much better!
Some of the rooms are dated but I know that they are in the middle of refurbishing the rooms. The hotel interior itself is a little dated but it did add some character.

Room was comfortable, full of natural lighting which is always nice. Location was good as it was across the road from the venue i was to attend, the beach was only 100m away, not to mention the women on the check out desk was very nice and helpful. Overall it was very positive.
Lack of communication at breakfast, it was written in the table booking where we were to sit but we ended up on two different tables and no mention i had already arrived. Also, no information was given as to the time when the doors are closed at night and no way of entering as a hotel guest as i almost got locked out at 11pm.

Location is lovely, situated on a quiet avenue, just a 10 minute walk into town.
The fire alarm sounded in the morning along with an announcement to evacuate the hotel (delivered via the room’s phone on loudspeaker) and all guests made their way out. Turned out to be a mistake but no-one told us. That info could have been communicated via phone.

The hotel is located on the cliff within easy walk of the beach and the pier. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with the sea view. It is an old fashioned-feeling place that fits the vibe of Bournemouth. A nice place for a few days. We liked the restaurant and the terrace a lot, imagining Tolkien there, along with Steve the sea gull.
