The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Check in and out process quite straightforward, and they even gave us a late check out. Parking available but we didnt use it. We walked to local restaurant.

Of course its a Motor lodge so cars are parked directly outside in carpark, and there is quite a bit of coming and going in the morning. Also, someone came to our door twice and looked in whilst we were still in bed...they meant to go to the neighbours. Simple mistake. best keep the blinds down.

This was our second stay at Tuscana Motor Lodge as we were completing our Christchurch to Christchurch loop. This time we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor, which was even nicer than the ground floor apartment we had previously, as the bed was larger and it came with a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the outlook. The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent with a very decent shower. We really enjoyed chilling out on the 2 sofas in the lounge room. We made use of the excellent laundry facilities which include an LG front loader (I prefer this to the usual commercial top loading washing machines at motels) and an LG dryer. Parking was great and the motel is well located, being a short walk to the CBD and close to cafes and restaurants. We managed to avoid using the car on the second last day when we explored Christchurch. The hosts were friendly and helpful as always. We enjoyed our stay here and it is one of our favourite motels in South Island and we stayed at 9 motels in all during our 15 day trip.

Room was well appointed, kitchen area was hidden behind louvered doors which was a nice touch, plenty of kitchen equipment, big spacious shower room with heated towel rail, mirrors in a good place and good lighting, nice seating area to relax indoors and outdoors. Someone has put a lot of thought into what makes a pleasant stay, down to bedside tables and a clock, which have been missing from other places I have stayed. Loved the turquoise colour scheme a nice change from the endless greys in other motels. Easy parking and access to good restaurants near by. Surprisingly quiet even though it is near to a main road,

A shelf in the bathroom would have been nice, I have too much clutter.

The room and all amenities were very well appointed. The room and toilet were super clean and the linen and towels were great. We simply loved it all and also the vibe of the place was great. Would highly recommend to use this motel. The parking was handy. The host was also friendly and helpful.

Can not really think of anything that we can say. All was good, so no negatives. If we strive hard then in the GF rooms it did not have any view.

The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, the staff were really nice and had great suggestions on what to do and where to eat nearby and in the Christchurch area. It’s a high standard for a motel accomodation.

The bathroom lacks a bit of acoustic privacy as it’s got closet-like doors, but it was ok. It would be nice if motels in NZ could provide tissues in the room as standard, we have found tissues are missing nearly everywhere we go in NZ and had to buy our own box.

Size of accommodation. Comfortable beds. Good parking adjacent to lower storey rooms. Use of laundry facilities (trust of managers), donation not fixed charging. A manager who likes a bit of banter, and enjoys his role. 😂😂 Plenty of information.

A bit of a walk into the city centre. Washing and drying machine operation. 🤔 Some noise from the busy traffic route, and boy racers later at night (the local police should dealt with this), not a fault with the hotel.

The welcome we received was amazing. It really set the tone for our stay. Every question we asked was answered ranging from points of interest to great places to eat. The staff went beyond expectations in their support and time given. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. Extra blankets and pillows available. Heaters, fans, electric blankets all there. Lots of powerpoints too. Kitchen and basic cooking utensils all there for us.

It was an amazing place with everything you need and near new facilities. Perfect walking location to shops and food. My husband said it is like having your own clean, light and bright beautiful apartment with comfortable bed, arm chairs, tables and kitchen minis the cooker, you could stay forever. The room was perfect, clean and the owner was there on site.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

We liked everything about our stay the location, room (very clean and the beds were so comfortable) on site parking was great too and spacious. We have stayed at other motels when we have come up to Christchurch and we will be staying with you again that's for sure.

I can honestly say there is nothing that we didn't like.

Well positioned to walk to all CBD and nearby cafes. The staff is amazingly friendly, helpful and welcoming. The decor of or room was tasteful and restful and very comfortable. It was warm and well equipped to make it warmer with extra duvet and pillows in the wardrobe and electric blankets on the bed. There was also a portable heater. The kitchenette was screened by doors and was well designed. The bathroom had a heater, extraction fan and heated towel rails. The comfy upholstered chairs were a plus. Plenty of choice on where to park. We had room 5. It was fitted with mobility rails in the bathroom.
