Great hotel in a perfect position. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

The only issue we have is there is no wheelchair access to the outdoor swimming pool area.

Excellent value for the money, big room and excellent ammenities included in the room rate (by far best deal of our overall trip).

Hotel does not have own parking. You have to park at the public parking at the back of the hotel for a 10 GBP rate a day. Note also that the parking pay machine does not recognise french car licence plates thus leaving you with some worry after having paid for potential mishandling by the system potentially triggering a ticket for violation .... I suggest hotel to act to have this corrected for the peace of mind of their foreign customers.

Loved the size of the room and the view was fantastic. Dinner in the hotel was lovely and it had a good breakfast . Location was great 👍

The cleanliness. Dirty bedding, skirting boards filthy. Bathroom lots of dust and fluff . Cleaned the bath myself before I used it .bath panel warped.glass on top the tv stand was dusty , it had clean me written in the dust wen we arrived. Headboard looked like its never been wiped down .The chairs in the restaurant had thick dust on the wooden bits between the legs (all chairs). Had a champagne glass with lipstick on it and my water glass had lipstick on it . Didn't like it was cashless , considering cash is legal tender . Parking was £35 for 2 nights ...that's alot!

The room and bed were very large and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities. Great to have a fridge. Lovely large bathroom, and the bath worked well. The breakfast had everything I expected, in a lovely light room, with views. The location was good. I could walk into Bournemouth, or catch the bus from opposite the hotel.

The shower didn't work. The water didn't get hot enough, and it had very little power. I experienced a shuddering vibration on the floor, which affected also the bed. Felt like the vibration of a freight train passing by!! This happened mainly from 6 - 9 pm. I reported both concerns.

Lovely room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good level of heating. Nice to have the option of a bath and a shower. Everything provided in the room was in working order. Fairly good lighting. The hotel is in a good location for Bournemouth town and beaches. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant with sea views.

The parking rate at the hotel is way too expensive. Cheaper parking is available on nearby roads. When I stayed in this hotel earlier in the year I requested a small fridge in the room which was provided free of charge. On this recent stay I was told I would have to pay extra. The plug hole in the bathroom sink was totally blocked by hair and fluff which I removed myself as the water wouldn’t run through. Ugh!

The family room is spacious, offering a nice side view of the sea and good natural light; it also has a good distribution of lighting, practical when putting the little one to sleep. The location is excellent!

The swimming pool is open for a limited period, from 10-5pm. As we travelled with family, we expected to use the pool much earlier before going out. Instead, we had to adjust our original plans to fit their schedule...that was a big minus otherwise, an excellent hotel and location

Large rooms with super views! Beautifully clean and well presented, considering the age of the building. Lovely Victorian features in the rooms that hadn’t been refurbished. Great location with stunning sea views. Very friendly and helpful staff that made the stay with my elderly parents, sister and niece, an extremely pleasant experience. We have booked to visit again in August!

Unfortunately, my parents couldn’t easily access the gardens due to steps. It was a shame that the main entrance too, had step access only. The interior lifts, however, were always working and were speedy. The suite that my parents occupied, room 212, had recently been refurbished and was vast! It was a shame that the warm, Victorian feel wasn’t there in the decor and that the enormous tv in the sitting room was across one of the bay windows. A longer tv aerial would solve that issue. A hand rail in the walk-in shower would be a great asset.

Great hotel and at reception was so welcoming and friendly and gave excellent customer service. Excellent location right on the seafront. The meal in the restaurant was fantastic, truly hard working staff. Hotel room 313 was very comfy and with a great view of the sea and pier. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing.

In terms of the rest, the hotel can do with a bit of renovation. Parking would cost an additional £20 per night.
