Massive credits and gratitude to our host and property manager, Derek for making our stay and first travel in Edinburgh extremely pleasant and worth remembering. On the way up to the place seemed sketchy as our first impression but it turned out to be the complete opposite when reached the floor to our room. Everything inside was vibrant and chic and homey. Very organized and systematic. Sparkly clean especially the bathrooms which is a big deal for my friend and I when traveling. We had all the essentials provided for us from towels, hair dryer, extra blankets, etc. extra points as well for the washing machine which my friend got to used when she ran out of thermal leggings to wear for our tours. We were completely clueless of what to expect when we arrived in Edinburgh everything in our itinerary was DIY but thankfully the location of the place was accessible to the bus stops like literally just less than 5 minutes away and if you’re group is more active than us some of the most visited attractions is just walking distance.

Nothing major really but just a suggestion, maybe just to provide slippers for visitors.

The kitchem and the bathrooms had everything what needed. Actually there are two bathrooms! There is a small fridge in the central room wich is refilled with free bottled waters every afternoon, because the kitched is closed in the late night. In summary, we had a great time there and would go back!

The street was very loud until 22 pm, even with closed windows. If there are loud, uncivilized turkish or arab families with kids in the next room you gonna have hard time sleeping because you will hear everything. The wifi is very unstable in the room nr. 2. (i dont know about the others) If you need a tax invoice you will also have a bit hard time, we provided every infos but the manager still screwed up, even with the correction its still bad but nevermind.

Lovely room with everything one needs in a well-run apartment. It's close to the centre and the nearest park and has the next grocery shop just downstairs. Plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants are nearby, as is the bus stop so it's literally just 5 mins to the Royal Mile.

Rooms were clean and beds were pretty comfy! Two bathrooms and showers which was great! The Manager Derek was so lovely

Room was basic, but very spacious with lovely large window. Kitchen was well equipped and the owner was very thoughtful about leaving bottles of water at night time in a separate fridge/freezer in the communal area. There were 2 modern shower rooms between 6 rooms which was sufficient.

Dirty cups and spoons in the room- but there was a kitchen with clean tableware and cutlery so this wasn't an issue.. Room was very stuffy and warn but the window could not be opened (sealed for safety?).

Modern rooms, extremely accommodating, the manager Derek was very friendly and hospitable, the kitchen was well stocked and maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable and stylish. Traveled as a group of 3, would definitely stay again. Cafe and sainsburys only a minute walk away, plenty of transport, was able to extend the check out time to 12pm for £10 per hour, staff were very helpful, thanks.

Street outside can be a little busy

the sliding lock on the bathroom door is broken, so the owners have installed a second one. However, they didn't remove the old one, and you can't tell it's broken, so you use it. Then someone walks in on you. I saw this three times during my one night stay. Once I walked in on someone and assumed they forgot to lock. Later someone walked in on me, which is how I discovered the lock was broken and I had to use a separate, different lock. Then while leaving I noticed someone walking in on someone else. It's another brainer to fix this so I'd encourage the owners to do so asap.

The room was fab. It was exactly what we were looking for - a cosy wee room for a night to go out and enjoy Edinburgh. It was spotless and the communal shower was great. We were able to easily walk from the property to the Grass Market and Waverly station. Couldn't fault our stay. Would definitely recommend. Oh p.s the wifi password is missing a "b" at the end in case that helps anyone!

There was nothing to complain about.

Very clean and spacious room, hygienic bathrooms and nicely equipped kitchen. Walking distance to all major attractions, great access to public transport, shops nearby and restaurants.

Waste build-up in front of the building, no long stay parking in front of the building (max 4h stay when parking in front of the building costs £16.50 so, when you book your room also book a 24h parking nearby - it's 5 minutes walking distance from the accommodation and cost us £51 for 48h stay).

I really enjoyed my stay. The apartment is in a good location near to shops, cafes, the Meadows etc. The owner was very responsive and got back very quickly with replies. I had a nice room with window looking out to a wee garden. Bathrooms were shared but there are two of them and I never had to wait.There is also a communal kitchen with hob, fridge etc which is very handy.

The entrance and stairs to the apartment do not give a good impression as they need a good lick of paint. This may be happening soon. The actual apartment is fine.
