Location and waterpark package was a good value overall. We travel here often (4-5 times a year at least). Close to other Niagara attractions, a little far from the falls though. Rooms are big and waterpark connection rap is a great idea - very convenient. Closed areas within the hotel (near rooms, there are sections with sofas and one of them is used as an open cinema space) where kids can play or people can just relax is also a great idea overall - you can stay there during rains, snow, etc.
The hotel is pretty old and in many places asks for a renovation. Open space areas are usually very noisy. No breakfast and even though they offer a discount in the diner nearby, the food there is just awful (to our taste). Finding a good place to have breakfast takes time and knowledge of the Niagara - be sure to plan this before your trip or it might impact your experience. Waterpark goes through repair or renovation at times - no announcement of that is issues by the hotel so also be sure to check that on your own. Parking within the hotel is not possible - you need to park at the waterpark parking, however they do about 50% discount ($40 per day for waterpark itself - crazy rates; $22 when you stay at the hotel). Still extremely overpriced.

This property checks all the boxes for a family getaway. It’s tucked just far enough from the strip to feel like a break from the chaos, yet only a block from Clifton Hill—an easy stroll with stroller- and wheelchair-friendly paths. The casino is literally across the parking lot, and Perkins next door makes grabbing a meal effortless. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they’re clean and comfortable—exactly what we needed. The beds squeak a little, but nowhere near as dramatically as some reviews claim. This is a family-focused spot, after all, with courtyard movie nights and kid-friendly activities designed to save parents from spending a fortune on Clifton Hill. There’s even a scavenger-hunt-style pass (about $45 per kid) where little ones collect souvenirs at different stops. It’s a fun touch that adds some extra magic. That said, if you’re expecting total peace and quiet at a hotel attached to a waterpark… that’s like expecting an ice cube to be warm. Absolute nonsense. And about those “mystery fees” people complain about—they’re not mysterious. Resort, parking, and tourist fees have always been a thing. Reading the fine print saves a lot of outrage. The waterpark does cost extra, but deals are everywhere if you spend five minutes on Google (or let ChatGPT do the work for you—it’s 2025, you’ve got options). If I read one more review about the facility not having USB ports, I will vomit. Pro tip: your phone comes with a charger block. I know, right!? Insane. Bring it! The water park is safe and accessible without needing to move your car. Essentially, you can leave your vehicle parked the entire duration of your stay which is an awesome bonus with kids. You can also get changed into your swimsuits in your room, and use the sky-bridge to access the waterpark. The waterpark pass is also good for 2 days--you can also leave your car in the garage for the day, even after you have checked-out. All in all, we left happy, relaxed, and already planning to come back.
The only hiccup I had was navigating the front lobby and courtyards. Because the hotel is attached to a waterpark, there are multiple levels and identical-looking courtyards. At one point, I almost opened a fire door (which would’ve been quite the dramatic exit). Honestly, that might just be me, but clearer distinctions—like different colors or more visible numbering—would make a big difference. As for negatives, they’re minimal: the toilet was a little loud, and the bed squeaked. That’s about it.

How everything from attractions / restaurants to the falls was in walking distance over all its was a great place. The room was a little outdated but that was ok with us because (housekeeping) was (outstanding !!!) We didn't know who they were but they have our respect and applause👏👏👏 goes out to them for make our stay wonderful! Especially when you have kids and you're on the go. When we returned on our first whole day out we came back to a clean hotel, beds made, and trash taken out! That made us so happy and it helped us enjoy our stay even more.

It’s accessible to other side attractions. You can easily walk to Clifton hill without worrying about where to park. There are so many eateries there even if you don’t want to order the food from the hotel. They have microwaves for free.
My daughter wanted to take advantage of the room service perks if you don’t want them, you get $5/day so she kept doing the cleaning just to earn that keep but at the end of the stay, they only gave two $5 vouchers to Starbucks which cannot be used in the same location and you can only get it on your check out day. So it was utterly useless to her because we were leaving Canada.

I love the court yards and the watching my kids play cards with me and my kids love walking the “window bridge” to the water park and I had car problems and was embarrassed and worried and Jordan was not only empathetic and understanding and went to see his boss if they could help give me a boost. To then telling me he could me while I was in line with 15 people and I tried my car one last time and it started lol. He said the warmth to the Niagara cold probably caused it and I agreed. To then be waiting in line a couple hours later for our room keys and there was Jordan asking if anyone else that had already signed in and had their water passes and just needed a key and rooms and Jordan took mine came back with my room keys and he was just the kindest to us on a very busy day that parking was hectic with guests not following the parking signs and rules
Honestly, nothing. They had a microwave for any guests and popcorn to purchase. Clean floors, kind employees just smiling and happy while working.

Room was clean. The distance to Clifton hill was great. The concept of the courtyards is nice. We saw kids playing and a family having game night out on it.
The hallways are run down. The carpet is wrinkled and floor feels uneven. Serious tripping hazard. Someone spilled a sticky drink in the elevator at dinner time and the sticky mess was still there the following afternoon. I requested a crib online and again when we checked in. Had to call the desk a few hours later and request it a third time before it was brought up to the room.

The room was good, the beds comfortable and the supplies sufficient. Enough room for two adults and a child. The nearby Waterpark that we could pass through a walkway to get to it was great! The staff was courteous, caring and smiling at all times.
The inaction of the employees on the last day, children were having fun running around in the courtyard and made a lot of noise, disturbing us. No space when we are on the 2nd floor to hang out our wet towels. The rooms of the 3rd floor used the banisters around the courtyard.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Great location. The staff was nice and professional.
No laundry room. TV in bunk room didn’t work. We had loud neighbors and had to move to another room. No microwave in room.

I like that it is close to other amenities so there are other things to do in the area and having access to the waterpark.
We do an annual trip with the family once a year to Niagara, the hotel could be a little more updated as it's been the same for literally 10 yrs or so. No microwave, that was disappointing. And the vending machines never seem to work, either cash only or debit only or never dispensing the exact change.

I like the accessibility of the water park
The hours of the water park, I know booking doesn't have control over although we bought passes that were pretty expensive and we did not get our money's worth. Kids were excited to get right to the park but were told the wrist band was going to be 165 for 3 hours ( the Sunday at check in) . Then I would have to buy another set in the morning! When checking in the hotel they would not let us incorporate the rate that was given online through booking . Therefore I had two upset girls that were talking about jumping on a water slide for the two hour drive to the falls! I wasn't paying 165 for 3 hours. So apparently you should buy the upgraded pass when booking!
