I booked OMID Saldanha Hotel last minute under unforeseen circumstances, and was pleasantly surprised. It is very close to the Gulbenkian art gallery and the beautiful gardens surrounding. The staff were very helpful when I had to deal with getting a replacement passport - helping to take my photo and ensuring it was kept safe on arrival. I was also very appreciative of the complimentary breakfast, given my situation.

The air conditioning was not very strong, and my room got very hot in the afternoon even with curtains closed. The housekeeping would often come after 4pm when I had returned home.

Our overall experience at OMID Saldanha Hotel was very positive. We were satisfied with nearly every aspect of our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience, and we deeply appreciated their support throughout our visit. The hotel facilities were comfortable and well-maintained. While there were a few minor areas for improvement, they did not significantly affect our stay. For instance, it would be helpful if additional towels were provided—not just for the shower, but also for hand washing and for use on the floor when stepping out of the shower. Regarding toiletries, the shampoo provided may not suit those with sensitive hair types. Guests with specific preferences might consider bringing their own or purchasing one from a nearby store. However, this is a small detail and didn’t take away from the overall quality of the hotel. We chose not to include breakfast with our booking, as we preferred to explore local restaurants and enjoy traditional Portuguese cuisine. Therefore, we cannot comment on the breakfast offering. The location of the hotel is excellent. While you may need to walk a bit, many of Lisbon’s main attractions are within walking distance. This makes the hotel a great base for discovering the city. In summary, OMID Saldanha Hotel offers a pleasant stay with friendly service, clean facilities, and a convenient location. We would definitely recommend it to others visiting Lisbon.

Some things not working right in bathroom (shower) and a semi-broken bedside reading light. After being offered a second night at a reasonable rate upon request at check-in, a couple hours later it was not honored and staff claimed I had misunderstood. €120 is a lot more than the €80 initially offered and I did not misunderstand. I chose not to stay the second night. Breakfast very overpriced for what you get, go out instead. Despite the above issues, overall it was a great value and I would choose it again over other options in the area.

Henrique Jesus was wonderful. He gives amazing customer service, much better than the rest of the staff. We also liked our rooms, they were very clean, spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the location is good too, fairly close to everything.

The reason why I didn't give all perfect ratings is because the AC was not working in one of our rooms (the other one was fine) and when I called the front desk said they were going to check the central AC but they never fixed it, and at some point the room was a little too warm.

The hotel was good and clean and the location was good. 5 mins away, the local shops were near the hotel, e.g, pingo doce, lidl, which is helpful. The rooms isn't that big but I mostly spent my time outside so that was fine! The Internet was great and the reception was good. The shower is very nice as well and the water pressure is perfect. Will definitely be back again!

One morning, I put the sign that said to clean my room on the door, but unfortunately, they didn't change my sheets. I told reception and they told me that I needed to tell the cleaning staff even though this shouldn't happen.

A very pleasant option in a quieter area of Lisbon, but close to the Gulbenkian Foundation, and between two metro stations. My double room was smaller than expected, but was compensated for by being very comfortable, and very nicely designed. It was also very quiet, which was a bonus. The bed was perfect, the linens and towels excellent. I liked the bathroom, too, very pleasantly designed. There was a Nespresso machine, which I learned to like, and bottles of water in the little glass fronted fridge. Downstairs, there was a good breakfast buffet in the dining area.

The music during breakfast was way too loud. Otherwise, nothing to be concerned by.

i can definitely recommend this place! we were staying just for a few days, but it was a really great experience. the rooms were clean, the personal was very friendly, helped us with all our questions. also we’ve forgotten our thing in the room after we left and it made no problem for us to contact the hotel and manage the delivery to us. the location is also great, we were able to get anywhere we wanted by foot or public transport.

Very clean and convenient

It is slightly far away from the main touristic attractions around 25-35 minutes walk away however close to a train station (7-10minutes walk) which was ideal Breakfast menu needs to change as it was same for 3 days and very limited plain menu which is not matching with a 4* hotel expectations. I would like to see more vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado and omlette, toast option or a cereal

Overall, the best hotel that I could have had in Lisbon. Rooms were cleaned well everyday and the staff were very helpful. Very quiet and peaceful sleep. The hotel is close to the Parque subway terminal which is a great entry point to the rest of Lisbon. Compared to the rest of Lisbon, the area around the hotel is very flat which makes walking around very easy. There are tons of nice restaurants nearby as well.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic despite some unexpected challenges. The room was clean and comfortable, and the Saldanha area, which I love, was a perfect location. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me when I had awful food poisoning during our stay. Their kindness and support made a difficult situation so much easier. I truly appreciated their care and would highly recommend this hotel!
