Breakfast was good, with hot and cold selections. Vegetarian options available.
Parking not available on site, but only a short 3 minute walk away.

On the positive side, it’s a new establishment with stylish decor. It’s also well located, in a renovated area just a few minutes from Temple Meads railway station and Castle Park. The mattress is comfortable, and the duvet is cozy. We had no noise issues (we asked to be moved to the side opposite the road). And It also has a decent gym with the essentials.
That said, our room wasn’t particularly spacious, nor was the storage space—or the bed, for that matter. But perhaps the worst thing for me was the fact that the windows couldn’t be opened, meaning there was no way to ventilate the room. Add to that the carpet and the dreadful air heating system, and you have the perfect recipe for spending the night sneezing—at least if you’re allergic to dust mites like I am. Lastly, the hotel doesn’t go out of its way with small touches. There is no coffee maker in the room (though complimentary instant coffee, tea, and creamer are provided). And if you forget something like a toothbrush, you’ll have to buy it

- great location, walking distance to all central areas of Bristol, including Clifton and very close to the Temple Meads Station - nice, modern and fresh - spotlessly clean - spacious room with a big bed and a nice bathroom with great toiletries + tea, water and biscuits were added every day to the room - friendly staff at the reception and breakfast (allowed us to leave luggage before check in and after checkout and printed some important documents for us) - nice variety of choice for breakfast, tasty options and possibility to order something that wasn't displayed, like vegan sausages, boiled or poached eggs - nice option to buy some essential toiletries like toothpaste, toothbrush etc in case you've forgotten + you can order some food for 24h so perfect for someone who arrives very late and hungry - nice touch with personalised welcome message alongside complimentary snacks and soft drinks
- breakfast, as mentioned above, was generally good but could be better with more vegetables or some lighter things such as cottage cheese, for example + scrambled eggs were unfortunately extremely not tasty - bed and pillows a bit too hard although that might be personal preference - even though we booked a double room, we were allocated a de facto room for three - with one double and one single bed, which was a bit disappointing as it'd be more comfortable to have an armchair instead of additional bed

It was very quiet and peaceful, and conveniently close to the train station. We liked all the amenities, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Despite one drawback (AC), we slept very well and had a great time.
The only drawback was the design of the air conditioning—it blows directly onto the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable. Since the windows couldn’t be opened due to noise insulation, we had to move the mattress onto the floor, as far away from the AC as possible. Despite that, we slept well and had a great time.

The hotel is in the city centre, about 10 minutes from main railway station and buses to the airport. Yet it's very quiet, we didn't hear a sound both from the outside or even from the hallway/other rooms. The room itself was spacious with nice tea variety and a little fridge. Bed... It certainly is a dream bed! The matress was ideally firm and it gave us a great night sleep. Pity that we couldn't snooze a little longer as we were leaving the hotel early each day. Enormous choice on breakfast buffet, including hot and cold options, dietary requirements etc. I finally found a place with lots of fresh fruit and veg! The hotel staff, especially receptionists, were very friendly. I even left something in the room and they managed to get it for me, so I could pick it up later. I think this Leonardo hotel is a great value for the price I paid and if the quality and price stay the same, I will certainly be back if next time in Bristol!
You can't open the window, but the air con is provided.

Conveniently located just 10 minutes from the city center and shopping district, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat despite its proximity to a major road. The room was impeccably clean, with exceptionally comfortable beds that ensured a peaceful night. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and conducted by friendly staff. Additionally, the room was well equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit.
With a double and a single bed fitted into the room, the space felt a bit cramped, especially as we were traveling with two large suitcases. However, since our stay was only for one night, this wasn’t a significant inconvenience. We also parked at the nearest car park, but upon check-out, we had just 15 minutes to reach our car, load our suitcases and pay the parking fees to benefit from the discount. Felt slightly rushed!

Hotel is very welcoming and staff helpful. It is away from main centre so is quiet at night, although you do need to walk a little while to get into the main centre. Bedrooms were very comfortable and warm. Great size TV, tea tray and some free goodies ( soft drinks and chocolate). Bathroom was clean, great towels and super shower.
Although there was plenty of choice at breakfast some of the hot items sitting in the warming trays were over cooked. Perhaps too many items cooked at once to be left sitting on trays and under lights. I had a croissant that was very heavy and hard around the edges, I think because of the lights over them. The 2nd morning lots of cold items hadn't been replenished, no greek yoghurt, the fresh fruit salad bowl only had a few pieces in the bottom of the bowl. Then the bowl of berries was empty. Either someone isn't really keeping a look out for replenishment required or its taking too long to get the items out.

Hotel was extremely clean, breakfast had a good selection and room was equipt with everything needed. Andrea checked us in at reception and excelled in customer service to ensure we had a memorable trip - what a joy she is! Compared to other properties in Bristol for the weekend chosen, the property was decent value for money!
I did think the location was slightly closer to the main high street than it was. Maps will also tell you the quickest way into town is via a bit of a sketchy subway but there is an alternative route via main road further to the right (when coming out of the hotel).

Not only I liked, but LOVED everything about this hotel! The attention to detail in every aspect - from practicality, cleanliness and comfort, or customer service quality to aesthetics, decor, fittings and style -, is exceptional. I rarely get so enthusiastic about a hotel, but Leonardo City in Bristol surely impressed me! On my very short stay (just one night in December 2024), I found the hotel to be immaculate and very well presented. Every little "touch" seems well thought through. What I appreciated: • the location in the city center, and not far from the train station • the bed was a dream to sleep in - very fresh linen, supremely comfortable mattress • floor to ceiling curtains that allow for total "blackout" • very good sound insulation • fully room-customisable air conditioning/ heating system • Iron and ironing board in the wardrobe • ergonomical and silent fridge, safety box and the well stocked tea& coffee 'kettle station' • the multi-angle bedside lamps • the comfortable armchair and table for laptop etc. work • the generous number of electric sockets throughout the room • the spacious room and bathroom • the generous shower space • the superb cleanliness everywhere in the hotel • the buffet breakfast's delicious, diverse and high quality menu offerings • the service with a smile from all members of staff Needless to say, if/ when the need arises, I'll return to this wonderful hotel without hesitation.
I am quite a fussy traveller, but frankly there is nothing I can think of that I didn't like at Leonardo's in Bristol! These guys know what they're doing! ;-) Thank you for this experience, keep up the great work!
