The room was very spacious with a marble bathroom and a balcony which had the sun all afternoon until the sun set, a perfect time of the day to unwind and enjoy a few glasses of wine. Although the rooftop pool was a great place to catch the sunset after a swim in the heated pool. The restaurant and bar also on the roof has an extended patio area which was great in the mornings to have breakfast overlooking Florence while the sun shone on all the famous landmarks. Dinner in the restaurant was very good with a great team, also the breakfast was very good too. All in all a great place to stay in Florence, a quiet area near the river and about a ten minute walk to the centre.

Fabulous views from the roof terrace, lovely to have a cocktail watching the sunset or the moon over the landmarks of the city. Enjoyed the heated roof top pool. Very comfortable beds, lovely room and balcony. Quiet at night as it's off the main road. Helpful friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and return.

We visited in October and one of the days was raining and really cold. We couldn't turn on the heating or the heated towel rail at any point during our stay. Was told at reception that the heating is not switched on until 1st November, until then only the air con is available. This is a high quality hotel and for the price you pay to stay there you really should be allowed to use the heating if you are cold - and use the towel rail to dry towels and swimsuits ( as the pool is open all year round). It would not stop me returning but maybe I'd book after 1st November.....

Great location within easy reach of restaurants and walking distance to all attractions. Fantastic rooftop terrace to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Roberto the breakfast maitre de was lovely and helpful, very chatty and definitely suited to his position. The female breakfast chef was so accommodating as were the waiting staff. The rooftop pool was an added bonus. Although we did not have time to utilise, it definitely is an asset to the hotel.

Our room 406 was directly below the kitchen area and we were disturbed with noise from 5.30am (preparation of breakfast). After the third night of disturbed sleep from our six night stay we spoke to reception who did move us to an alternative room on the second floor. We were a bit put out to be told they were aware of this problem from previous guests! I feel this room should therefore not be allocated which is a pity as it is very spacious and being on the 4th floor offers great views. On the plus side the room balcony was a lovely relaxing area.

The bar area in the evening lacked atmosphere as it’s in the restaurant/breakfast room but annoyingly we were told by the barman we weren’t allowed to sit on the beautiful terrace to have a drink in the evening. Can’t understand what difference it made sitting the other side of the glass door from him but we decided to leave it and go elsewhere!

We were in Florence for 3 days as tourists. The Hotel Kraft was a great place to stay for several reasons. The best feature of the Hotel is the Rooftop Bar and Restaurant. We met friends staying at the Hotel on the Rooftop Bar every afternoon for cocktails. The staff is very friendly and the views of the city are amazing. Complimentary snacks are brought to the table each time we were there, and the drink menu and quality of drinks were outstanding. Breakfast is served at the same location every morning which was very good. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. You can easily walk to many dining choices and the shopping and tourist destinations are also within walking distance.

The English speaking choices on the television are limited to 3 news stations. It would be nice if the option to log in to the travelers own Netflix or other App based entertainment was an option.

Hotel Kraft offers a big-city four star hotel experience in a relatively small hotel off the beaten track. Its staff are exceptional, and the rooftop restaurant is sublime. Our clean, quiet room had a little painted fresco on the ceiling, part of the attention to detail that is evident throughout. The rooftop pool is open until 9pm, and you can go up there (when it's open) when you like rather than having to book in. The view from the roof - a panorama of Florence - is, of course, absolutely stunning.

It's a shame that such a wonderful hotel is in such a grotty part of town. While not a complaint, the swimming pool is surprisingly small (though big enough for several people to enjoy it at once).

Everything was exceptionally clean, breakfast was amazing especially the omelettes. Staff were so friendly and helpful couldn’t do enough for you! Rooftop terrace and swimming pool was excellent. Loved our room with the balcony. Very clean and lovely size.

Wasps were a pain on the rooftop but not the hotels fault! Could do with cushions on the sun loungers quite hard on your body. More cupboards or drawers in the rooms not a lot of places to put clothes but lots of empty space in the rooms.

Loved, loved, loved this hotel! When we arrived we were told they had upgraded our room giving us a balcony! The room was beautiful, the bathroom was stunning- great lighting, and an excellent hairdryer. There was plenty of space in our closet with drawers and cubbies to store all our stuff. Located a block from the Arno River, it was a quiet location but an easy walk to everything we came to see. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful. We were immediately met with a smiling manager, who welcomed us and asked how we would like our coffee. Breakfast included an omelet station and lots of options with meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. With an option to sit outside in the warmer months- amazing view of Florence. On the roof was a beautiful pool- said to be heated but not warm enough for us! Hope to get back in warmer months. In the evening we would head up to the bar for a nightcap- the staff was so nice! I had reached out to the hotel before our visit to assist us in making a reservation at a restaurant, which was challenging to get in contact with. They were wonderful about getting us that reservation. Hotel Kraft is a hidden gem!
