Location and style of building

Breakfast choices were restrictive in that it may be beneficial to have a choice of hot and cold items , such as cereal then sausage etc rather than a Mediterranean or Crackovian breakfast.

Everything about the property was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious and amenities were more than we could ask for. Spa facilities were amazing, location was very central and convenient, and hotel staff very helpful/kind.

There was one day where construction outside the hotel caused our water to be turned off for a short duration. Unfortunately it was at a time we intended to shower before dinner and we never got notice of this from the hotel beforehand so it was a slight inconvenience, but possible they weren’t forewarned either. This was a very small inconvenience though. Overall the hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. Value was great.

Location of the hotel to the city centre was great; I was pleased we were not too close to the main street which tended to be noisy in the evening and particularly at weekends, however it was ideally sited to enable you to easily walk into town. I had a wonderful facial and deep tissue massage in the Spa courtesy of Isabella. She was friendly and extremely skilled. I left feeling completely pampered. Thank you Isabella. Our flight was on time but due to a backlog in passport control and very few passport officials, it was some time before we actually left the airport. Thankfully our driver Jacob (arranged by the hotel) was still waiting for us. Very much appreciated.

On the whole the staff at the hotel were helpful however I think some in the restaurant could have been more welcoming; there was a distinct difference in how we were received in comparison to a couple of ladies who sat on the table next to ours, who spoke polish! I appreciate the language difficulties; my attempts at saying good morning and thankyou appeared to fall on deaf ears, but perhaps my pronunciation is to blame. Whatever, just a few smiles would have helped. Consequently we chose to eat out elsewhere in the evening.

Beautiful hotel with large, quiet and comfortable rooms designed to a high standard. Staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Sauna and Pool was fun. We enjoyed a fantastic tasting menu in the restaurant one evening. A highlight of our trip.

The pillows were a bit soft. The pool was cold one day but had warmed up by the end of the visit to something more pleasant. The sauna is relaxing but good for only 2-3 people so you may need to time your visit with other guests. The roof terrace was closed - I assume as it was Winter - so it wasn't possible to enjoy the 360 view. I'm sure the staff would have arranged to open it for me.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The service was outstanding, and the location was perfect in Krakow. All of the staff could not have been more helpful and so very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Krakow. The Spa was lovely and offered a wide variety of services. I had the body exfoliation using salt from the Salt Mines and it was spectacular! Food in the hotel was delicious. And the breakfast menu superb.

The hotel was perfect!

Location was stunning, in the old town next to the castle, but on a quiet historic street, which meant I heard none of the louder tourists' late-night cacophanies (this was more of a problem where I stayed off the main square). The spa was really special with candles and, for the most part, total tranquility. Isabel who welcomed me to the spa and did my massage was so friendly and charming. The design of the hotel is so unique and even my most basic single room was beautifully appointed. The bed linens were lovely. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

There were two couples in the spa when I had my massage, and the constant noise of their conversations was very distracting. Perhaps the atmosphere and staff could be a little warmer particularly at breakfast - I was staying a quiet time, so this probably isn't a problem when there are other guests at breakfast etc. It felt a little stiff.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. They were very accommodating and helped us with booking tours and restaurants. The service was incredible - it’s now our favorite hotel that we’ve ever stayed in. You can’t beat the location either. It’s close to everything. We enjoyed drinks on their rooftop terrace every night with an incredible view of Wawel Castle. The hotel is clean and wonderfully decorated. And do yourself a favor and get the breakfast here! It was delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was perfect - we enjoyed everything!

Elegance with a welcoming vibe . The pool and relaxing area for all guests was a special experience swimming in a cave! Dinner was spectacular. Loved the rooftop patio and views of the castle close enough to touch. You are perfectly located with the river on one side infront of castle next to you ( go on a cruise or drink on the barge) and the square minutes walk. Tons of other quaint restaurants right by the hotel. Front staff was efficient welcoming and helpful and the rooms were steeped in history but with modern amenities just as we expect and are thankful from a Chateau and Relais property.

The Hotel is beautiful. The interior of dark wood with gleaming chrome ductwork and the plethora of greenery makes you feel if you were in a steam punk castle. The service is top shelf, they are eager to accommodate your every need. Joanna is fabulous, we have never encountered a front of house manager as efficient and friendly as her. The food was simply incredible. The service from Dominic was superb.

The only small downside was that the pool was closed for the duration of our stay and we had looked forward to utilizing it.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location - right beside the castle and only ten mins walk to the Old Town Square. Quiet area - a pedestrianized street so no noise at all. The staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and copious. The bedroom was spotless, beautifully furnished and comfortable. I honestly can't say enough about this lovely hotel. I will definitely be back.

Nothing at all - no faults.
