Great, central location. Lovely building and festive decorations. Clean and comfortable room with big shower. Very dog friendly, very helpful that a dog bed and bowls were supplied as we travelled by train so couldn’t bring our own

Stunning interiors, welcoming staff, faultless location, clean, comfortable and stylish rooms. Beds luxurious. Coffee machine in the room was a nice tough. We arrived to drop off our bags very early and felt very welcomed and were able to check straight into our room which was hugely appreciated after spending the previous night in horrendous accommodation. The whole experience was healing for the soul and we couldn't recommend enough. We will definitely be booking again next time.

Excellent location just next to the station, near several museums and only a 20 minute walk from the harbour front or the cathedrals. It was possible to turn off the Aircon without the room overheating which was great. And a lovely view from the breakfast room. The hotel itself has a very grand feel to it, while also being recently done up and full of mod cons.

There was a bit of noise from the street, but that is probably unavoidable given the location and the fact that we were staying Fri/Sat nights. Also they ran out of a few things at breakfast - though there were plenty of other options.

Good choice of food for breakfast although mostly only lukewarm not hot. Beds very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Lovely oldy worldy hotel with beautiful features. Weatherspoons was next door and we went in there each day instead of the hotel bar as was much cheaper.

Bar prices were extremely high, nearly £27 for a double rum & coke and a single gin & tonic! Woken up very early each morning to sound of bottles being emptied from bins behind room (possibly from Weatherspoons?) where glass was being broken. This carried on for around 30 mins each morning.

Good location small but generally well equipped modern and clean room (had a standard base level room). Bonus points for kettle AND coffee machine. We also very much appreciated the black out blind to keep the room dark in the morning. Free bottled drinking water in mini fridge.

Very dark where the tea and coffee making facilities are. Had to use phone torch to see what I was doing. Also there were no coffee pods or milk pots so had to ask twice at reception to get.

Slow service in bar/restaurant. Only one member of bar staff serving drinks, slow especially during a busy period.

The property is in an excellent location, right next to Lime St station. However, this hotel is very quiet and there’s no external noise to be heard, despite being in a busy city centre. It is within close walking distance to shops, bars, waterfront area and all main attractions of Liverpool. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, welcoming and helpful, especially the person who was on check-in. Staff will also give dining and entertainment recommendations, as well as provide free maps. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The inclusion of a mini-fridge and Nespresso coffee machine was an excellent addition. The beds were VERY comfortable and we ended up over-sleeping one morning because of the comfort. Fitness suite was a bonus addition to the amenities and was small but well-equipped, with water and towels also provided.

VERY minor quibble, but the shower screen wasn’t quite long enough to stop water going onto the bathroom floor when using the shower. We had to ask for extra towels to mop up the splash from the shower, even though it wasn’t switched on to maximum. Small thing, however, and I would 100% recommend this hotel to stay in, whether for one night or longer.

Friendly Italian member of staff was really helpful and we had a good chat with him on the last day, you could tell he's good with people and cares about his role. The room was lovely and clean. The location is fantastic right next to the train station. Walking distance to shops and the Cavern club. The hotel decor is fantastic.

Mini bar is quite expensive for what you get. We had to ask for extra coffee pods for the room. The uht milk was off so ruined the only pod we had left. Good selection at breakfast but would have been nice to have the choice of granola and poached eggs(not together 😂).

Absolutely love this hotel, stayed here twice in the last 2 weeks, wouldn’t go anywhere else, it’s an amazing hotel, central location right next door to lime street station and only a 10 minute walk to the shops in central liverpool, the staff are lovely, helpful and friendly, rooms are lovely and clean, the bed is so comfortable, I will definitely be back here again, absolutely fantastic.

Nothing it’s absolutely perfect

The location was perfect as we came by train. Staff were very professional and helpful and I liked the feature of free apples and water in Reception. The room was cosy and had comfortable pillows, always a bonus! The breakfast was reasonable although I would have liked a wider selection of fruit and breads. The cooked breakfast could have been a bit better but catering for large numbers inevitably results in leathery bacon.Despite that, we will stay again.

As above, some wider choices at breakfast, more continental choices and more fruit. Also the cooked items could have been warmer and better cooked. Still adequate though.
