The location was super great: close to the central railway station and in a 5-min walf from the first sightseeing place. The host, Marco, was the most amiable person I had met during my Italian trip. He was welcoming and helped with everything. I would return to Florence again and choose Marco’s hotel 100%!

A bit too noisy at night. My windows faced the street and the noise was quite loud. But it is okay when you stay 3 nights.

The location is perfect. It is located about one block from the train station. A 2 minute walk. Perfect for us because we had big suitcases. Very convenient location all around. Our room was on the top floor and very private and quiet. Marco and Pardis are very nice and hepful people. Marco even went above and beyond helpful when he arranged for us to stay at another place for two more nights bc he didn't have availability in his apts. They also keep a stocked kitchen and they have a washer and dryer for an extra few Euros. We felt very comfortable there.

There are three flights of stairs to our room on the top floor. Thankfully, Marco was kind enough to carry our very heavy suitcase all the way up and back down when we left.

First and foremost the host was very kind and helpful. Also, we were allowed to store our luggage after check out until we departed from the city. Also, there were snacks and a tea selection to choose from. In addition, there is a common kitchen if someone wishes to cook. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and clean. Overall a great experience. It is highly recommended.

Great spot near station and well stocked 2 supermarkets, quiet side street, lots of room, windows that open, air con works well, comfortable bed and clean. Kettle and fridge in room. Shower pressure and temperature were adequate. Fantastic staff who were very helpful and friendly. Common living room area had kitchenette with utensils and tea coffee facilities and washing machine.

Problems with toilet flushing (buttons would often get stuck), no usb next to bed (although my friend had one in her room). No lift (Marco was very kind and took our bags up the 3 flights of stairs...).

The location, Marco was super friendly and helpful, very kind, he knows how to treat people so nice. The place was very comfortable, clean and quiet.

The price is great for what this place offers. The rooms are nice and clean with very good working AC units - unlike many other places we stayed at in Italy and Florence. The location is just 5 minutes or less from SMN Centrale train station, with access to the tram, busses, taxis, ubers, scooters and bikes. There is everything you need within 10 minutes walk from supermarkets, vodaphone, laundry, restaurants bars and much more. The Mercato Centrale is also very close. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to get to the Duomo and the central tourist area. best part of our stay at Marcos Way was the host, Marco, and his concierge, Musta. Marco and Musta were both exceedingly helpful to me and my partner in so many ways I can't do them justice. Suffice it to say that each of them went above and beyond what I expected and made our stay easy enjoyable and memorable. I highly suggest staying at Marcos Way!

The upstairs kitchen could use a few more essential functional items such as some more wooden or plastic ware so that one can mix items without scratching the non stick pan that was there. I would also suggest a few more pans and pots and a couple big cutting boards, some good sharp knives of different sizes and a pasta strainer.

Marco is a wonderful host, and we had a great stay. Marco's Way is a great location and has close access to many of the Florence highlights. The bed was very comfortable, and access to the kitchen facilities and the option of laundry service was a treat too.

From the moment we arrived Marco and his team were nothing but kind and helpful, Marco gave us a list of many recommendations for different spots around the city and even told us some attractions to see which we would not have done otherwise. The room was great, we had a new room and it was large and had everything we needed. Marco checked in each day to see if we needed anything and even took care of our washing for us. It was in a great location and very close to everything needed, the street right around the corner was the start of the main town. Would recommend anyone I know going to Florence to stay here.

Could not fault anything!

Location is perfect, close to the train station and basically walking distance to all the attractions. Marco is very friendly, he helped to carry the luggage to my room upstairs, also shared many information to explore the city. There is shared kitchen with all the essentials you need, the room is spacious and bed is comfortable, personally I like the powerful shower and fast drying hair dryer, it's the best shower I enjoyed throughout my whole Italy trip, will definitely recommend Marco's way if you visiting Florence.
