The reception and restaurant were beautiful. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The trip was a surprise for our friends birthday treat, we asked if they could put a card just to say happy birthday, they went above that, and left a bottle of bubbly 🍾 so lovely, and at no extra cost.
I was a little disappointed We were on the first floor, so we didn't have much of a view Also there was a floor lamp, with the shade very dusty, just a small thing but important to me. On arrival i parked in the car park and learnt it wasn't free parking for guests, it cost £15 for overnight which if we had stayed longer would work out really expensive.

Staying at Hilton Bottle bank for a number of years the hotel has always been well run . The room was through booking.com I`m not sure if this would make a difference to the room or is the hotel ageing slightly? We have had better rooms in this hotel. Breakfast - Always Brilliant here - smaller pastries and less choice on hot food this year. Food is always good. Evening meals very good. Service and professional care ** top rated ** Loved our whole stay.
Only two points to improve on our stay - drinks premixed versions of cocktails did not taste nice and better room. We didn`t go for top spec of room.

The hotel was lovely, our room was fantastic. We ate in the hotel both evenings but unfortunately they both were completely different experiences. On the Friday, the gentlemen was efficient polite and very attentive. His service made the premium cost worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine overlooking the river. On the Saturday, the different gentlemen was distracted, not attentive and neglected to get things we asked for (sauces etc). The young lady was showing outstanding customer service when she was engaged with us however the pair were very focused on setting up for breakfast rather than looking after their seated guests. The above experience issues aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

everything was great and everything as expected. parking was a bonus and cheap for £25 for both days
This isnt a complaint as we really enjoyed the stay, but we had issues with the room heating which meant the room was really hot. we asked the maintenance who changed a filter but it made no difference. the room was 243 and really needs to be looked into. also, we found it strange that the cleaners only made the bed and changed the towels. they didnt replace the toilet roll, coffee facilities or remove glasses we had from the bar. we phoned reception who provided extra toilet rolls but thought it was very strange these were not cleaned /changed for a 2 night stay!

A fantastic large room with a view over the river. A delicious breakfast and a nice bar area for a morning meeting.
You had to go back downstairs to get a code for the wifi and then they said if you want better wifi you need to pay, a lot of money. Not a problem to a large company perhaps but I was working for a small arts organisation and had agreed my expenses in advance so I couldn't just whack an additional cost on. Quality hotels that advertise for business customers should have quality wifi. Walking in to take a look at the pool, you had to walk through a gym where people were mid-work out and it felt very uncomfortable.

Stayed here a few times over the years, always clean, comfortable, and good food. Staff are lovely as always.
Staff I spoke to are not from the northeast of England or indeed British. That ruins the authenticity of local areas. Could it be a self-imposed business model to save money and appear aligned to neo-socialist ideology? For a more authentic feel, it would be wonderful to celebrate local culture, local indigenous peoples and provide the indigenous peoples with opportunities to work and earn for their families and communities.

Staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Great location with excellent views of the quayside and Newcastle landmarks. Have included a photo taken from the 5th floor. Room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast too. Would definitely stay again. Have already recommended to friends.
Pool was a little overcrowded due to swimming lessons taking place on Sunday afternoon and the jacuzzi was out of order. That said - I had the pool to myself on Monday morning which was delightful.

Lovely hotel, with an amazing view of the Tyne Bridge from Reception and pool! Perfect location if you're going to a gig at the Glasshouse, and only a few minutes walk from Newcastle station . Nice big room: we booked a twin room & had a queen-sized bed each! Good size bathroom ensuite, with a really good power shower. The pool is big enough to actually swim in, which was a bonus! Water temp. was perfect, and the pool & changing rooms were spotlessly clean. Great jacuzzi, too!
No plug socket by the bed. (I had set the alarm on my phone, but had to plug it in across the room to charge it.) No biscuits with the tea & coffee provided in the room. I expected a little more, considering the price of the room. Aside from those tiny points, everything was great.

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and well cooked. The dinning area has great views over the city and Tyne Bridge and looks amazing at night with the lighting on the bridge and cityscape. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable as well as being well equipped with the essentials you may need. Swimming pool facility was good but found it to be a bit small and busy but pool size was reduced due to a swimming lesson happening also but did not stop you having a nice dip.

Room was excellent, lovely view of the Tyne and Quayside. Had a light late lunch in the bar after checking in to our room which was very nice. We were going to the Sage and had to be there early for a meet and greet so could not have an evening meal.
Coordination of payment for parking. The machine only charged £7 and we had to then tell reception when we checked in and pay a further £8 which was fine but we had a bill for £8 for parking left at our room door in the morning. We then had to have this rectified at reception.
