The daily breakfast buffet was amazing. As a vegetarian I had many options available and my husband enjoy new combinations daily. The hotel is classically older and our room did have the feel of needing an update - but it was comfortable and kept clean. The rooms are also large with nice amenities like robes and free water and coffee in the rooms. Lobby had coffee, tea and water almost 24/7. Port was available and complimentary in the evenings too

The initial feel/ musty smell when entering hallway/room. It quick dissipated and all the other attributes made up for old decor.

From the moment I entered, the atmosphere of the hotel captured us! All the areas are open to the public, and I was able to walk through the lobby, computer room, and reception bathrooms as if I were at home 🏠❤️ It's a very peaceful and safe place, with shops, hairdressers, cafes, and restaurants nearby. It’s just minutes from the main street, which makes it the perfect blend of location—close enough to the action but far enough to escape the noise and crowded tourist spots. What we loved the most was the breakfast 🍳🥐—a super varied menu with sardines, cheeses, cereals, fruits, and an exquisite bakery! Every morning we woke up excited to go have breakfast 🤗 The pet-friendly concept is fantastic. We didn’t bring our dog, but all the dogs we saw were well-behaved and affectionate. We went with my parents for the Sao Silvestre race on December 28th, and it was the best idea. Just a few meters from the finish line! In the morning, you can hear people and the garbage truck passing by. I’m not sure if it was staff serving breakfast or guests, but there was a bit of noise. After a while, you get used to it. But honestly, apart from that, there’s nothing else to complain about.

Had a great stay at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza. The staff were amazing, the reception was warm and welcoming and the amenities were good. The hotel truly is a heritage property and felt very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was abundant and the food was of good quality. We truly felt at home and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and albeit a bit old, had all the necessary amenities. The location was also excellent and the proximity to metro stations was a plus. The main squares and the historic center were just about a 15 min walk, which was great. I would absolutely recommend it for future stays in Lisbon.

Fantastic location. Close to a metro station, easily walkable distance to the main sights. Just behind the busy Avenida road full of high end shops but so quiet. Staff were all very friendly and helpful The hotel has character and charm , not a purpose built modern building. We were in the 5th floor with a super terrasse offering free coffee and tea. Sat out for a short while as weather nice in December We had a ‘petite’ room with twin beds(as requested) but plenty big enough for us two Lovely touches such as free port, apples, sweets and fluffy big towels Excellent breakfast

Unfortunately the fan didn’t work in the bathroom and the water was a little slow to go down the washbasin but shower good No real view but not an issue

Loved the staff and the reception. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I fell sick during this stay and the staff really catered to my needs. I needed some medicines and recommendations for a pharmacy nearby, which they helped me with. The kitchen was also able to cater to my food requirements and overall, I really felt at home. The hotel in itself is wonderful and so quaint. It has a very cosy and comfortable feel and I would absolutely stay there again. Keep up the great work!

The rooms do feel a bit old but maybe that adds to the historic charm of the hotel and the heritage feel. Nothing negative really about it. Would be good to have some more water in the room, as I do not usually feel comfortable with tap water even though I know it is safe to drink in Lisbon and Portugal as a whole!

Breakfast was excellent. There was not a huge variety, however it was still very good. The location was perfect right next to a metro stop. You will find good restaurants within a 6 minute walk. highly recommended. The hotel provides refreshments for free throughout the day such as water, coffee and tea. The hotel is beautifully decorated. It has a small restaurant serving light snacks and drinks that opens till 10pm.

The electrical sockets were right at floor level. You will need to bring slightly long charging cables due to this. If you prefer walking, there is a slight distance (15 minute walk) between the Praça do Comércio and the hotel.

Great stay here. Fantastic location on a quiet street couldn't hear anything at night from outside. Walls a little thin inside, though. Heard the people above and beside us, but it wasn't disruptive in the night when sleeping. Staff is helpful and professional. Special mention to Nay as she was a great help when I was trying to buy some tickets. The rooms are a good size with lots of storage in the closet. Bathroom was also a decent size. Comfortable beds, good wifi. Would stay here again if in Lisbon!

Inside not very good sound proofing. Coffee was not good.

The staff was very attentive and the hotel was very cute and clean. It was about a 15 minute walk to the water and in a good central location that felt very safe. There was quite a variety for breakfast but it was the same food every day so when staying for over a week it was a bit repetitive, but the quality was excellent and the coffee option with the Nespresso machines was also very nice.

We had to turn in the key every time we left the hotel, but I understand it wasn't a magnetic card, it was an actual key that could get lost.

We stayed in 2016 and returned as we'd really enjoyed our stay. Second visit, just fabulous! We were still in the system and little had changed (so rare these days) same warmth, wonderful welcome, lovely room, great food sensibly priced yet very best of service and quality in every respect. Great central location and 5 mins by uber to/from train station. Famous attractions within walking distance, Commercial Square 15 mins walk through a buzzing centre. Christmas market is in full swing, xmas lights everywhere and breathtaking. We even received 'Welcome Back' gift and acknowlegement. Wonderful, will stay here on future regular visits to Lisbon🥰

Loved everything

I was so impressed with the location - nice shopping a 30-second walk away on a beautiful tree-lined avenue, an easy walk to main squares and attractions, and the ease of getting there from the airport - bus 744, virtually door to door. The property is just off one of the main avenues - Liberdade - but it's really quiet, away from the main tourist areas and noise, but easy walking distance to those areas. The hotel was lovely, and the shaded roof terrace was a huge bonus in 30+ degree heat! The staff were all friendly and helpful, and my room was great, a good size and quiet (3rd floor). Excellent buffet breakfast, too, lots of variety. All in all, I was very happy with my stay and will definitely be back!
