Excellent Location and Hotel. The hotel is just 15-20 walk from the main centre where all the action happens. Its tucked away nicely just off the main roads and opposite the Sofitel Hotel. The hotel itself was very clean and has the heritage vibe. Large spaces and guest area for guests to relax. Breakfast was good with all typical options though coffee machine during breakfast and coffee for guests could defintely be improved. The Rooms we stayed in were very spacious with air-con which really helped with temperatures in the mid-30's during our stay. Staff were also helpful and cheerful and were always happy to help. Reduced a star because there are no coffee facilities or kettle in the room. That was an issue for us and I am sure for many if we have to go down to the guest area first thing in the morning for a tea or coffee. Other than that, it was perfect.

Though the breakfast is good, it is all the same every morning. It gets a bit boring after a week of the same breakfast. We had room service one day (sandwiches and melon/ham), which was not good. For us, the pillows were too soft, but the hotel provided us with more.

Lovely spacious marble entrance check in area. Meticulously attired and professional staff checked us in. hotel is much larger than I expected with many different rooms to relax and have tea, or coffee, and lemon water provided daily. a TV room was separate and available. A bar with some small tables and cozy conversation areas. large dining room served a lovely breakfast. We discovered an outdoor patio area on Level 5 which was fabulous for pre-dinner drinks, with lounge chairs and tables. The room was a pleasant surprise with a large marble bathroom, bidet, sink, and large tub. Great water pressure, and all amenties. The bedroom had two twin beds and closet and desk and refrigerator and big windows that looked out onto the street below. The staff were friendly and helpful. Truly a great experience.

Our stay at Hotel Lisboa Plaza was wonderful from start to finish. The room and bed were very comfortable, providing the perfect rest after long days exploring the city. The complimentary still and sparkling water was such a thoughtful touch—especially refreshing after walking around in the summer heat. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with our dog, Lola. Most hotels don’t allow that, and we usually have to take turns eating alone—so this felt especially accommodating and appreciated. After a long day, we were able to order room service, which was also delicious and exactly what we needed. When we requested a late checkout, it was granted without hesitation, making our departure stress-free. We also loved the beautiful terrace on the 5th floor—a peaceful space with complimentary tea and water, surrounded by cozy, stylish seating. It was a lovely place to unwind. The location was perfect: close to everything, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. We truly felt well cared for here and would absolutely stay again.

The daily breakfast buffet was amazing. As a vegetarian I had many options available and my husband enjoy new combinations daily. The hotel is classically older and our room did have the feel of needing an update - but it was comfortable and kept clean. The rooms are also large with nice amenities like robes and free water and coffee in the rooms. Lobby had coffee, tea and water almost 24/7. Port was available and complimentary in the evenings too

The initial feel/ musty smell when entering hallway/room. It quick dissipated and all the other attributes made up for old decor.

From the moment I entered, the atmosphere of the hotel captured us! All the areas are open to the public, and I was able to walk through the lobby, computer room, and reception bathrooms as if I were at home 🏠❤️ It's a very peaceful and safe place, with shops, hairdressers, cafes, and restaurants nearby. It’s just minutes from the main street, which makes it the perfect blend of location—close enough to the action but far enough to escape the noise and crowded tourist spots. What we loved the most was the breakfast 🍳🥐—a super varied menu with sardines, cheeses, cereals, fruits, and an exquisite bakery! Every morning we woke up excited to go have breakfast 🤗 The pet-friendly concept is fantastic. We didn’t bring our dog, but all the dogs we saw were well-behaved and affectionate. We went with my parents for the Sao Silvestre race on December 28th, and it was the best idea. Just a few meters from the finish line! In the morning, you can hear people and the garbage truck passing by. I’m not sure if it was staff serving breakfast or guests, but there was a bit of noise. After a while, you get used to it. But honestly, apart from that, there’s nothing else to complain about.

Had a great stay at the Hotel Lisboa Plaza. The staff were amazing, the reception was warm and welcoming and the amenities were good. The hotel truly is a heritage property and felt very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was abundant and the food was of good quality. We truly felt at home and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and albeit a bit old, had all the necessary amenities. The location was also excellent and the proximity to metro stations was a plus. The main squares and the historic center were just about a 15 min walk, which was great. I would absolutely recommend it for future stays in Lisbon.

Beautiful hotel in heritage building, very comfortable room for our short stay and suprisingly spacious for the central location. Walking distance to Metro stops, furnicular and most tourist spots (hills are a given) but fairly flat. Loved the lobby lounge with cold drinks and an area to relax. Secure parking behind the hotel. Very quiet with windows closed (double glazing!)

Mainly a shopping street and not too many restaurants or supermarkets around. No tea or coffee making facilities in room, but free tea & coffee, water in the lobby.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Lisbon and close to everything. The facilities and customer service are fantastic, making the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. One of the most impressive features is the breakfast hours – available until 12 noon – something I have never experienced in any other hotel around the world. The comfort and amenities are truly unique. If you’re traveling to Lisbon, Hotel Lisboa Plaza is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay, off the main street but readily accessible to great shopping, transport and local restaurants. The room was comfortable, pillows a bit too soft (this was a personal preference). Value for money was OK. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to answer questions and help if required. We had an early start, would have been nice to be able to take some fruit after a quick breakfast but it was noted NO food to be taken from restaurant. I would definitely stay there again, maybe in 2027 when we hope to return.
